The Girl Impact initiative of African Impact aims to provide opportunities for adolescent girls in Zambia through education, health, safety, early pregnancy, making a living, and self-confidence. Still, the organization needs enthusiastic volunteers to make this a reality. Volunteers have the opportunity to work in maternal health with a focus on puberty. Experience what it’s like to work as a marine scientist and professional diver whilst helping with vital ocean conservation projects. During this program you’ll live and work in the greater Cape Town region and conduct underwater research in a global hotspot for marine biodiversity. You’ll join a marine field station dedicated to furthering knowledge of our oceans so as to develop effective methods of protecting marine life and ecosystems. Working as part of a team of passionate, experienced marine scientists you’ll go on research dives, survey populations of marine species, monitor habitats, and help their citizen science activities & eco-tourism expeditions. Aside from helping with important research ocean conservation work, you’ll get to experience training divers and leading them on dives.

Despite few resources, we are already making a positive difference and we strive to continue doing so. Our Children's Program was created to provide educational, nutritional, and emotional support and leadership skills to young children from marginalized neighborhoods in Ibagué, Colombia. Most—if not all—come from homes with only one woman as a provider and do not have the time or resources to care for them adequately. Thus, we address this pressing issue by helping care for more than 80 local children at our two centers, impacting their lives significantly. Our Children's Program aims to find support from kind-hearted people worldwide who want to join this noble cause. Volunteers primarily listen to, care for, play with, and give love to underprivileged kids.

Join VWI as a volunteer and help care for elephants in Heritage City—Jaipur, India. Support the local community in taking care of these elephants and their mahouts. Volunteers will help mahouts to feeding the elephants, bathing them, cleaning the area, bringing water, oil massaging the elephants head, trimming their nails, taking elephants for walk, make bundles of hay and chapati(Indian Roti) for elephants in a mud stove to eat. You will work around 3-4 hours per day everyday in morning and in the afternoon twice a week to make chapati's for Elephants to eat. Elephant mahouts are living with their families at the project site and are responsible to give right care, fed properly & keep them healthy and fit. The program is located in the village near Amber Fort which is also known as Elephant Village. where elephants get care by their mahouts everyday. It is also one of Elephant Sanctuary in India. Elephant Village Jaipur is India’s first and the world’s third elephant village also known as “Haathi Gaon“. The area is spread in 30 hectares of land; it has stable blocks for each elephants with attached housing; it also a big man-made lake for elephants to swim and washed down.
