<p>My favorite part is definitely the atmosphere in Antalya — the sea, the sun, and how international everything feels. There is always something happening: events, new students arriving, interesting people around.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Coming from Thailand, I feel right at home here, just with a totally new adventure in my life.</p>
<h3>What made your experience abroad extraordinary?</h3>
<p>What made it extraordinary is that I am not just a student here — I am part of the team.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I get to create content, meet future students on calls, and see the Academy grow from the inside. It is rare to actually shape the place where you are studying, and that is what makes it special. I like to be part of it.</p>
<h3>How did local staff support you throughout your program?</h3>
<p>The staff here feel more like colleagues than supervisors.&nbsp;</p>
<p>My team in the marketing department always guides me, gives feedback on my videos and scripts, and helps me balance studying with work. Whenever I had questions — about classes or tasks — someone was always ready to help. I found my real friends here.</p>
<h3>What's one thing you wish you would have done differently during your time abroad?</h3>
<p>Honestly, I wish I had started filming and documenting my journey from day one.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Looking back, I have so many stories from my first weeks that I have never captured. Now I always tell new students: start recording early — you will want those memories later. It is a new chapter of my life, and it is great.</p>
<h3>Describe what a typical day in your life abroad looked like.</h3>

<p>My days are a mix of everything — morning classes, then straight to the marketing office for calls with future students, filming reels, or writing scripts. No two days look the same. Sometimes I am on camera, sometimes behind a laptop, always somewhere between studying and working. And I like to organize my day.</p>
<h3>What did you enjoy doing during your free time abroad?</h3>
<p>In my free time, I love walking along the sea, meeting up with friends, and sometimes just relaxing after a busy day of classes and filming. Since I used to play tennis, I also try to get back on the court whenever I can — it is my favorite way to unwind. Also, I like swimming because it relaxes my mind.</p>
<h3>What type of accommodation did you have? What did you like best about it?</h3>
<p>I rent my own apartment near campus, which gives me the freedom to organize my day around classes and work. What I like best is having my own space to relax after filming or long calls with future students — plus it is close enough that I never waste time commuting. The best part is the location for me.</p>
<h3>What is one thing every future participant should know about your program before their program begins?</h3>
<p>One thing to know is that this program is not just about sitting in class — you can actually start working and gaining real experience right away, as I did in marketing.&nbsp;</p>

<h3>Would you recommend The Academy of Tourism Antalya to others? Why?</h3>
<p>Yes, definitely! The Academy gave me more than an education — it gave me real work experience, a job I actually enjoy, and a chance to grow professionally while still studying.&nbsp;</p>

<h3>Now that you're home, how has your time abroad impacted your life?</h3>
<p>I'm actually still here in Turkey, and that says a lot about how much this experience impacted me. It changed my plans completely — now I'm even considering staying long-term, maybe one day running my own marketing agency remotely from here.&nbsp;</p>
<p>This place became more than an experience; it became part of my future.</p>
<h3>What does meaningful travel mean to you?</h3>
<p>For me, meaningful travel isn't about checking off places — it's about actually building a life somewhere new. Working, studying, making friends, even imagining my future here in Turkey. I've learned the language, found people who feel like family, and started to understand the culture from the inside, not just as a visitor.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The local staff was always kind, patient, and supportive. They helped me adapt to a new working environment and were always ready to answer my questions.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Thanks to their encouragement and daily communication, I even started learning Turkish. They made me feel like part of the team from the very first day, which made my experience much more enjoyable and rewarding.</p>
<h3>What's one thing you wish you would have done differently during your time abroad?</h3>
<p>Looking back, I wish I had started learning Turkish earlier. It would have helped me communicate even better with local people and enjoy the culture more deeply. I would also have liked to travel more around Turkey and explore more of its beautiful cities.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Overall, my experience was amazing, and I would happily do it all again.</p>
<h3>Describe what a typical day in your life abroad looked like.</h3>

<p>A typical day started with breakfast before my shift at the hotel. I worked at the front desk, where I welcomed guests, answered their questions, and helped with check-ins and check-outs. Every day was different, which made the job exciting and interesting.&nbsp;</p>
<p>After work, I often spent time with my colleagues or friends, explored Antalya, relaxed by the sea, or practiced my English and Turkish. Each day helped me grow both personally and professionally.</p>
<h3>What did you enjoy doing during your free time abroad?</h3>
<p>During my free time, I enjoyed walking around Antalya, relaxing on the beautiful beaches, and exploring the city's historic places. I also loved trying traditional Turkish food and visiting local cafés with my friends.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Sometimes we went shopping or took short trips to nearby attractions. These moments helped me experience Turkish culture and made my time abroad even more enjoyable.</p>
<h3>What type of accommodation did you have? What did you like best about it?</h3>
<p>I stayed in a staff residence (lojman) provided by the hotel. I shared a room with three other guys, and we had our own private bathroom and shower, which made living there very comfortable.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The residence also had a swimming pool and a cozy lounge where we could relax, drink coffee or tea, and spend time together after work. It was a great place to make new friends and feel at home during my internship.</p>
<h3>What is one thing every future participant should know about your program before their program begins?</h3>
<p>Be ready to learn, work hard, and step outside your comfort zone. This program is not only about studying hotel management—it is about gaining real international work experience, improving your language skills, and growing as a person.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Stay open to new cultures, communicate with your team, and make the most of every opportunity. If you have a positive attitude, this experience can truly change your future.</p>
<h3>Would you recommend the Hotel Management Program to others? Why?</h3>
<p>Yes, I would definitely recommend this program to other students. It offers the perfect combination of education and real work experience in the hospitality industry. I gained valuable professional skills, improved my English, started learning Turkish, and met amazing people from different countries.&nbsp;</p>

<p>My Compassion for the poor, reckless, disadvantaged, abandoned children from poor backgrounds, who suffer daily and remain in poverty without help, led me to form this organization to support them. From past suffering, we want to show compassion for all children.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I want to increase my productivity, my ability, my advocacy, my adventures, my social development work, my emotional interaction with others, my education level, my family planning, and my life culture. add value to those in need explore my professional and keep learning more from people needs and culture learning how others think and coping there cultures such as the way they handle things they new technology they have they art they use there policies there politicians there resources they use how they experienced their life risks and more learning more from there daily living.</p>

<h3>What advice would you tell your pre-travel self?</h3>
<p>UDHR 1948, every one is free and equals for rights and services, we are born with same blood and we are to enjoy all rights. In respect to human rights, everyone is free to interact with one another and is supported with resources as required.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Using this treaty, the SDG goals mission will be supported through networking and research, and respect for one another. We will advise a number of issues and request them to help us in various activities against poverty and suffering. We will advise them to copy our business or invest with us for their businesses in Uganda. We shall advise them to get emotional sex partners from Uganda. We shall advise them to keep in touch with us in a brotherly sharing of knowledge and freedom of association.</p>
<h3>Describe a typical day at work.</h3>
<p>Advocacy and education facilitation services program. Children are protected by us from any dangerous harm and deterioration of their rights and freedom. If harassed, tortured, or denied access to services, they are protected, such as basic education, shelter, advocacy, home needs, and the right to play or assemble; it's a violation of children's rights.</p>
<h3>Why do you do what you do?</h3>
<p>To strengthen socioeconomic transformation for the integration of poor, reckless, disadvantaged, and abandoned children, giving them hope, opportunities, and vision. Opening their future for others breaks the cycle of crime in the community.&nbsp;</p>
<p>We need to integrate integrity for career opportunities, professional development in children, dignity, and career values for socioeconomic transformation, where vision, hope, and opportunities are achieved in their destination of growing children to cope with the culture of European, American, and Australian on new technology, science, and arts.</p>

<h3>How do you use your education and international background in your current role?</h3>
<p>We freely explore directly with our children, and it will not be trustworthy to the mission.</p>
<h3>What challenges do you often face and how do you overcome them?</h3>
<p>We mainly have consistent financial resources abroad to address administrative, capital, and program cost challenges. Our programs are no longer operating due to financial challenges. We no longer have a funding source to operate our organization. The solution now is to contact you in seek for international volunteers who can collaborate with us in pussing us a go ahead.&nbsp;</p>
<p>This is important work we are doing to relieve the poverty and suffering of our children in Uganda, where they come from poor backgrounds. As usual, no funds, no survival, no basic needs, no facilities, no facilitation. Please, let's be helped. Thank you&nbsp;</p>
<h3>What are some current projects you are working on?</h3>

<h3>Why should someone choose Voiceless Mind Uganda over competitors?</h3>
<p>We are trustworthy, honest, accountable, responsible, good Managerial due diligence, compassionate for our beneficiaries, quick responders, good development planners, organized, and vision-focused on people's opportunities, hope, and vision, showing them what's needed and helping them where it's needed.&nbsp;</p>
<p>We are good at fighting for freedom, advocacy, quick response, risk management, and good monitoring and evaluation; livelihood support from job creation to job seeking as a competitor to poverty and suffering. We provide opportunities for children's education and survival through food provision and scholastic materials like books, shoes, food, and uniforms, as well as free education and facilitation services.</p>
<p>Our organization needs to be chosen because it is in poor condition, with poor communities where people need international volunteers to cooperate with them. There is a lot of culture we need to share with international volunteers, and there is a lot of business we can share with international volunteers&nbsp;</p>
<h3>What is Voiceless Mind Uganda's mission and how do you continue to work toward it?</h3>
<p>To be a fostering care and relief organization for people's poverty and suffering, solutions for their survival needs and basic rights, education, shelter, advocacy, livelihood, Christmas, Christianity, and development in our poor community for the reckless poor, disadvantaged children from poor backgrounds.&nbsp;</p>
<p>We continue this work to meet their needs and share them globally, as we are doing here, and we reach out to you for your support. We will continue building support for our child beneficiaries by connecting them with opportunities, such as finding compassionate donors worldwide to help meet their needs for schooling, survival, food, sugar, water, and electricity.</p>
<h3>What makes Voiceless Mind Uganda special?</h3>

<h3>What hopes do you have for the future for Voiceless Mind Uganda?</h3>
<p>Through funding from abroad, like through your links to international volunteers, we hope our children will get access to their needs; the organization and administration will have its mission fulfilled, and own assets like office building, program vehicles, and travel abroad for adventure&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Are there any developments with Voiceless Mind Uganda that you would like to share with us?</h3>
<p>Proposed purchase of land and construction of a building project for Voiceless Mind Uganda administrative program, construction of building facilities for a school.</p>
<h3>What makes Voiceless Mind Uganda easy to market to potential participants?</h3>
<p>It has contacts, such as its location in Uganda, an email, and social media platforms; it has available targeted child beneficiaries; and it has a mission and vision.</p>
<h3>What do you hope participants take away from your programs?</h3>
<p>We will cooperate with them by asking them what they need to take away from our program. This is easy to discuss with them, as we are available. They will take away a number of things like the way we believe in African culture such ancestors our God the Creator our museam our education culture our living survival our business our accomplishments our accomodations our infrastructure like roads we have a road built in the mountain Elgon using poles of about 2 kilometers from one community to another in space it's a bridge people in the world visiting it to see the technology we used.&nbsp;</p>
<p>They are free to take any needs they wish, learn ways we work cooperate our family units the way we sleep feed school government treats us how the environment management is done like our country is good there is no war earthquake flooding heavy winds many River our country is called the pearl of Africa a land locked country with the source of river Nile great lake Victoria&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Why is it important for people to travel abroad and experience new cultures?</h3>
<p>It's an adventure to explore new things on the ecosystem of the country and people how the world is built how people behave what they do such as in Uganda in our community in mbale city where bamasaba bagisu as a tribe we do male circumcision ceremonies after every two years there is a unique dance circumcision male skin cover in the public there are numbers of activities we do in the place public ally it's always done from August to December in old years such as 2026 2028 2030.</p>
<p>Effectiveness is better than believing online; seeing live activity through travel is better than believing in images/photos, so it's important to see live rather than being told stories. It's important to touch the required beneficiaries live&nbsp;</p>
<h3>How do you help support participants?</h3>
<p>Guiding, security, teaching, moving, directing, touring, safeguarding, accommodations, taking care of them in Uganda when they are with us.</p>
<h3>If you could participate on one of Voiceless Mind Uganda's programs, where would you go and what would you do?</h3>
<p>We will do our program in our own poor communities we serve, interacting with our international volunteers and beneficiaries in good spirits. If possibilities are available, they can sponsor us for an international adventure as well. We shall do what's required, such as physical, emotional, psychological, and other activities needed in any field, as required. We are open-minded people.</p>
<h3>What questions do participants often ask you, and how do you typically respond?</h3>
<p>It varies; they need to learn and trust to know more about us.</p>
<p>Such as our children's activities, they may ask us: where are the parents of these children, how do they survive, how do we support them for their survival and basic needs, education, shelter, job opportunities, hope, and vision. We will tell them exactly what it is and other things from their questions because they may also need to know, either relevant or not, as long as we are with them or online.</p>
<h3>Why do you think learning a new language is important?</h3>
<p>It's very important because it sounds linguistic, like the sound of a bird. It is good to learn it to exchange languages and understand what others need in their own language.</p>
<h3>What does meaningful travel mean to you?</h3>

<p>Meaningful travel is reaching live to the place where activities are explored seeing the ecosystem with your eye spending your time on site and receiving what you need on your own this is important to carry what you need live from the place observation of what is in the museum observation of government work observation of wild animals and bird which are not in your home country getting sex partners of your choice if interested tasting the sweet fruit food water visiting the sites in need&nbsp;</p>
<h3>What advice do you have for individuals thinking about going abroad?</h3>
<p>We advise them to travel because there is learning, more adventure, and people, opportunities, hope, and vision. There is an exchange of knowledge, emotional, psychological, and more&nbsp;</p>
<h3>What issues do you see in the world of international education that don't line up with your values and expectations for mutually beneficial &amp; educational relationships between providers/programs and the communities in which they are located within?</h3>
<p>New curriculum, new technology, science and arts, new physical planners, new education systems, new learning, more education forms, new international records, like it's in a book of records.</p>
<h3>What does ethical global engagement mean to you?</h3>

<p>Personally me cornelius who is answering here, my organization gives me a social working networking experience in helping me and others with knowledge and support them on their responses and resources in need becoming like a broker or a linker of people on both sides having a good supported successful families in Uganda building good collaboration with international volunteers and friendly business in harmony where people can interact with others in peace for their socioeconomic transformation in education fun financial support and emotional.</p>

<h3>What inspired you to go abroad?</h3>

<p>I’ve always loved traveling, especially anywhere connected to the ocean. Throughout college, I worked during the school year so I could spend my breaks exploring new places.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Studying abroad gave me the opportunity to continue traveling while earning college credits and making progress toward my degree.</p>
<h3>Why did you choose <a href=https://www.goabroad.com/providers/seamester-study-abroad-at-sea rel="" target="_self" class="link">Seamester Study Abroad at Sea</a>?</h3>
<p>I was looking for a <a href=https://www.goabroad.com/providers/seamester-study-abroad-at-sea/programs/seamester-indian-ocean-singapore-to-south-africa-90-days-134668 rel="" target="_self" class="link">program</a> that combined sailing, diving, marine science, and college credit. I had never sailed before, so I was excited by the challenge, and I wanted to continue developing my diving skills in some of the world’s best waters.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Seamester offered all of those opportunities in one program, which made it stand out to me.</p>
<h3>What was your favorite part about the experience?</h3>
<p>My favorite part of the experience was the variety of unforgettable moments aboard Vela. Swimming with whale sharks at sunrise, snorkeling alongside reef sharks, and exploring remote places were incredible experiences. What made them even better was coming back to the boat afterward and sharing those moments with everyone else.</p>
<h3>What made your experience abroad extraordinary?</h3>

<p>Living aboard a sailboat made this experience unlike any traditional study abroad program. We could spend the afternoon learning oceanography or nautical science and then go on a night dive that same day.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Living, learning, and working together in such a unique environment made the experience feel very different from studying abroad on land.</p>
<h3>How did local staff support you throughout your program?</h3>
<p>The staff supported us in different ways depending on their roles. We had a medic for any health-related concerns, and every staff member was available if we needed help or had questions.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Because we lived and worked together every day, it didn’t take long to feel comfortable reaching out when we needed support.</p>
<h3>What's one thing you wish you would have done differently during your time abroad?</h3>
<p>This program wasn’t easy, and living on a sailboat meant the small things could sometimes feel overwhelming.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Looking back, I wish I had stressed less about those moments. I’d remind myself that spilled coffee, seasickness, or falling out of my bunk were all small parts of an experience that was much bigger than those temporary frustrations.</p>

<h3>What did you enjoy doing during your free time abroad?</h3>
<p>Free time was limited, especially while we were sailing. Most of it was spent finishing homework, sleeping, or occasionally baking cookies or brownies for the crew. Sometimes we’d stay up to watch a movie together, even if it meant sacrificing some sleep.</p>
<p>When we were at anchor, we’d usually call friends and family if we had service, relax on the boat, or swim and freedive if the captain approved. When we were docked in places like Mauritius or Cape Town, we had opportunities to explore within the program’s time and safety guidelines.&nbsp;</p>
<p>We enjoyed trying local restaurants, shopping, and exploring whenever possible.</p>
<h3>What type of accommodation did you have? What did you like best about it?</h3>
<p>We lived in shared cabins with three bunks and limited storage for our belongings. The space was small, and there wasn’t much privacy, but everyone adjusted fairly quickly.&nbsp;</p>
<p>One of my favorite parts was my cabin and my roommates. They became like sisters, and our small cabin became our safe space. Living so closely together created a strong sense of teamwork and made the boat feel like home over time.</p>
<h3>Describe what a typical day in your life abroad looked like.</h3>

<p>If we were underway, our schedule revolved around our watch shifts. After waking up, we’d have lunch followed by classes like marine biology, oceanography, nautical science, or leadership.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Evenings were usually spent eating dinner, finishing homework, and getting as much sleep as possible before our next watch.</p>
<p>When we were anchored or docked, every day looked different. We might wake up early for a sunrise hike in the Gili Islands, spend the day surfing in Bali, go on safari in South Africa, or dive, depending on where we were. Classes were scheduled around these activities, so no two weeks looked exactly the same.</p>
<p>Throughout the program, our days were very structured. We rotated daily responsibilities and other boat jobs, so there wasn’t much unplanned free time. Most of our downtime was spent resting or catching up on schoolwork.</p>
<h3>What is one thing every future participant should know about your program before their program begins?</h3>
<p>Be prepared for your lifestyle to change completely. This program will push you outside your comfort zone, and you’ll probably experience homesickness, seasickness, sunburn, and sleep deprivation at some point.&nbsp;</p>
<p>It’s challenging, but if you’re willing to embrace those challenges, you’ll leave with experiences and friendships that are hard to find anywhere else.</p>
<h3>Would you recommend your program to others? Why?</h3>

<p>Yes. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys adventure and is willing to step outside their comfort zone. It isn’t the right fit for everyone, but if you’re curious, adaptable, and excited by new experiences, it’s a unique way to study abroad.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The combination of sailing, diving, academics, and travel creates an experience that’s difficult to find anywhere else.</p>
<h3>What do you feel the biggest benefit of traveling abroad is?</h3>
<p>The biggest benefit of traveling abroad is gaining perspective. Experiencing different cultures, meeting new people, and navigating unfamiliar situations help you grow in ways that are difficult to experience at home.&nbsp;</p>
<p>It builds confidence and often teaches you just as much about yourself as it does about the places you visit.</p>
<h3>Now that you're home, how has your time abroad impacted your life?</h3>

<p>Coming home was an adjustment after spending months living aboard a sailboat. The experience gave me a greater appreciation for everyday comforts while also teaching me practical skills in sailing and diving.&nbsp;</p>
<p>More than anything, it gave me confidence to take on new challenges and continue seeking experiences outside my comfort zone.</p>
<h3>What does meaningful travel mean to you?</h3>
<p>To me, meaningful travel isn’t about checking famous places off a list; it’s about understanding how people live and experiencing places beyond the typical tourist perspective.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Some of the most memorable moments come from simple conversations with locals or figuring things out on your own.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Traveling with the same group of students also made the experience more meaningful because we all noticed different things and learned from one another.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I’ve found that the most rewarding experiences often come from the moments that challenge you the most.</p>

<p>What inspired me to work for CES Maastricht is the organization’s strong commitment to international education, cultural exchange, and creating meaningful experiences for students from around the world. I am particularly attracted to CES because it brings together people from diverse backgrounds and provides an environment where students can develop academically, personally, and culturally.</p>
<p>The opportunity to contribute to a place that supports international students and helps them feel welcomed in a new academic and cultural setting is very motivating to me. I believe that studying abroad is not only about gaining knowledge but also about building connections, understanding different perspectives, and becoming more open-minded.&nbsp;</p>
<h3>What advice would you tell your pre-travel self?</h3>
<p>The advice I would give to my pre-travel self is to embrace the uncertainty and enjoy every moment of the journey instead of worrying too much about what could go wrong. Before traveling, it is natural to feel nervous about leaving behind familiar surroundings, meeting new people, adapting to a different culture, and stepping outside of your comfort zone. However, I would remind myself that these challenges are part of the experience and are often the moments that lead to the most personal growth.</p>
<p>I would also tell myself to be more open-minded, patient, and willing to try new things. Every destination has its own culture, traditions, and ways of doing things, and the best way to truly experience a new place is to approach it with curiosity and respect. I would encourage myself not to compare everything to what I am used to, but instead appreciate the differences and learn from them.</p>
<h3>What is your favorite part of your job?</h3>
<p>My favorite part is seeing the change in students - from the moment they arrive, often excited and a little uncertain, to the day they leave with more confidence and unforgettable memories.</p>

<p>We continue to work toward this mission by placing students at the heart of everything we do. Our goal is for students to leave Maastricht with a greater sense of confidence, independence, and a deeper understanding of different cultures and perspectives. We want them to experience personal growth by stepping outside their comfort zones, meeting people from around the world, and discovering new ways of thinking.</p>
<p>Maastricht offers a unique environment for this journey, with its welcoming atmosphere, rich history, and diverse international community.</p>
<p>Ultimately, we hope participants leave with lifelong friendships, valuable experiences, and a broader global perspective. Our aim is to create an experience that inspires students personally and academically while helping them grow into more open-minded and confident global citizens.</p>

<h3>What does meaningful travel mean to you?</h3>
<p>Meaningful travel, to me, is about more than simply visiting new places or checking destinations off a list. It is about creating genuine connections, understanding different cultures, and allowing new experiences to shape the way we see the world. Meaningful travel happens when we take the time to engage with local communities, learn from different perspectives, and appreciate the traditions and stories that make each place unique.</p>
<p>It is also a journey of personal growth. Traveling abroad challenges us to step outside our comfort zones, become more adaptable, and discover new strengths within ourselves. The most valuable moments are often the conversations, friendships, and experiences that stay with us long after we return home.</p>
