An incredible online learning experience!

January 08, 2026Louey Nacer Boumediene Merouane - Algeria

My experience with Smart Schools International’s online program has been truly rewarding. Despite the distance, the support from the staff and instructors was exceptional from day one. The curriculum is highly interactive and engaging, providing practical skills that go far beyond traditional learning methods. I especially appreciated the flexibility of the platform and the opportunity to connect with students from all over the world in a global virtual classroom. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking for a high-quality, flexible, and well-organized online education.

American School in Egypt

My experience at Smith Collin’s Academy in Hurghada was definitely a positive one. My confidence in my teaching skills grew as well as my independence. The cultural experience alone of teaching students that are from all over the world and speaking different languages was an incredible experience. The staff at Smith Collin’s was also exemplary and some of the friendliest coworkers I’ve ever had. Overall, if you are looking for a good mixture of cultural experience and wanting to expand your teaching skills this is the internship program for you.

The volunteer experience that rewired my heart

January 08, 2026Jim Johnson - United States

I volunteered with Go Palestine for a month, teaching conversational English twice a week at a community center in a refugee camp. My main work was to get the kids and teenagers talking. We played games, practiced simple conversations, and sang songs. The goal was to build their confidence to speak. It was challenging but so rewarding. Seeing a shy student finally say a full sentence with a smile was the best feeling. Teaching just twice a week was perfect. It gave me time to prepare good lessons and also to visit families, explore with the center's staff, and really understand the community. The people in the camp were incredibly strong and generous. They taught me about their culture and daily life. This wasn't just volunteering; it was a real human exchange. If you want to make a direct, personal impact and learn more than you ever could from a book, do this program. You won't forget it!!!

A fantastic experience !

January 08, 2026Aurèle Pulfer - Switzerland

I've had interest for the Transcaucasian Trail for a couple of years, which brought me to read about the international volunteer camps. In Fall 2025 I finally had the chance to take part in a 7-day camp in Lori North of Dilijan. The experience exceeded my expectations : we were really well taken cared of by the local crew, the work is well organized and balanced with leisured time and other activities. Above all, we had a lot of fun and lots of laughter all together, while we did a fair deal of work on the trail maintenance ! It is a great way to meet Armenian people and get to know better different aspects of the local culture. I can only recommend these camps to anyone looking for outdoor collective experiences to remember and meeting great people. I'll definitely return to repeat the experience in other regions and also take some more time to hike on the TCT !

Greatest Winter Season

January 08, 2026Loreen Jantzen - Germany

My time here in Canada is wonderful, I got interviewed by Internex Pacific to work in Hospitality at a Ski Resort, so I always meet new people. As a Restaurantspecialist with experience on a cruiseship, I already saw much of the world, but I can for sure say Canada is one of my favourite places also because of the people living here. Living here in Invermere at a Lakehouse is awesome, because the owner are really friendly and we have much space around the house.

Hands-On Cybersecurity Internship Experience

January 07, 2026Syed Akifuddin Arif - India

I completed a six-month cybersecurity internship with Cyberon where I gained hands-on experience in VAPT and SOC operations. The internship focused on practical learning using industry-relevant security tools and methodologies. I worked on multiple projects related to vulnerability assessment, security monitoring, and basic incident response, which helped strengthen my technical foundation. The exposure to standard cybersecurity practices improved my understanding of skills required for professional and global cybersecurity environments. Overall, the internship was a valuable learning experience that enhanced my confidence and readiness for future cybersecurity opportunities.

11 blissful weeks in beautiful Bonaire

January 07, 2026Phebe De Keyser - Belgium

I will forever treasure my stay on Bonaire during the coral restoration internship at RRFB. I came with only a little diving experience and left with 100 dives and counting. I came with a love for the ocean and left with knowledge about its astonishing fauna and flora. I came without knowing anyone on the island and left with international friends. I especially appreciated the internship’s learning-by-doing approach: we were diving from day one and actively restoring corals by day two. After engaging workweeks, my weekends were filled with kitesurfing, swimming, hiking, and some more diving. The only downside was that life on Bonaire can be expensive, and finding accommodation can be challenging. Despite this, I would 100% recommend this internship to anyone with a scientific background who wants to make a meaningful contribution to coral restoration!

Transforming the world and yourself

January 07, 2026Viliami Takau - Tonga

Nestled in the outskirts of Tokyo in a little town called Ryugasaki in Japan, I would come to flourish in my community and change in ways I did not anticipate. After university I had found a desk job in New Zealand. I settled in and gained 50 kilograms becoming overweight. In my first year in Japan I lost those 50 kilograms and returned to my natural weight. I noticed no big difference in my lifestyle except a half walk to work and delicious Japanese food. I picked up the language, I made friends in the neighbourhood. They’d invite me for dinner. Lastly I was privileged to connect with my students. I’d answer their questions about life outside Japan and give advice on decisions to make moving on from high school. A truly transformative experience.

A True Malagasy Experience!!

January 07, 2026Darren O’Sullivan - Ireland

Volunteering with SEED was everything I hoped for from start to finish. I completed the full eight-week programme from Oct-Dec, which allowed me to fully integrate with the conservation team in the village of Sainte Luce. Seeing real research happen firsthand was incredible. I’ve wanted to visit Madagascar since I was a child to experience the wildlife, and this was by far the best way I could have done it. Each day, you could choose your activities, such as forest transects searching for lemurs, amphibians, and reptiles, working alongside local guides who are true experts and spot things you’d never see on your own, as well as monitoring and maintaining newly planted forest corridors. You gain an up-close understanding of wildlife behaviour and the ecosystem, while also learning how the local Malagasy community views conservation and daily life. That perspective was genuinely life-changing. Living in a tent for eight weeks in a forest definitely came with challenges, especially adjusting to the heat and basic living, but it was incredibly rewarding. The team were outstanding throughout, from helping organising my trip and arrival to dealing with any concerns on the ground, everything was handled professionally and with care. I don’t see how this experience could have been better for me. I would recommend SEED to anyone even considering Madagascar as it’s exactly how you should experience the country in my opinion.
