Raised in a multicultural family in the colorful Chicago suburbs, Raquel’s greatest joy is gallivanting around the world, and learning about its endless cultures, languages, and foodie treasures. Raquel taught English abroad in Germany through the Fulbright program as a gap year after college graduation. She currently works at a software company and runs a tea blog called Steeped Dreams, picking up other eccentric hobbies in her spare time.
