Raised in a multicultural family in the colorful Chicago suburbs, Raquel’s greatest joy is gallivanting around the world, and learning about its endless cultures, languages, and foodie treasures. With a degree from Arizona State University in hand, Raquel taught English abroad in Germany through the Fulbright program. Now she’s back home in the desert working at a local peanut butter company, picking up eccentric hobbies in her spare time.
