I had such an amazing experience in this program. I was the only student learning spanish at the time because it was slow season, but everyone at the school made me feel at home. I got to volunteer in the classroom of kids learning english and help with their english as they helped me with my spanish. I was able to sharpen my spanish in 4 weeks, but also learn a lot about the culture of the area.

Going abroad with WorldStrides was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I had so many opportunities to be immersed in the culture, whether it was through weekend trips, events in the city, or simply exploring Barcelona with friends. There was always something new to experience, and I felt like I was able to learn so much outside of the classroom. One of my favorite parts of the program was the freedom to explore Barcelona and other parts of Spain while still having the support of WorldStrides when I needed it. The staff was helpful throughout my time abroad and made the experience much easier, especially when adjusting to living in a new country. The organized activities and trips were also a great way to see places I probably would not have visited on my own. Living in Barcelona gave me the opportunity to experience a completely different lifestyle and culture. I was able to try new foods, meet new people, practice Spanish, and experience what everyday life is like in Spain. I also loved being able to travel to other cities and countries during my time abroad. Overall, studying abroad in Barcelona was an experience I will never forget. I made some of my best memories, became more independent, and gained a much greater appreciation for other cultures. I would definitely recommend studying abroad with WorldStrides to anyone considering it. It was an amazing experience, and I would do it all over again.

The TEFL Academy is quick, efficient, and provides excellent support. The materials are all well-organized and simple to understand. I have no complaints whatsoever, from the marking schemes all the way to the customer support, The TEFL Academy has been flawless.

I really enjoyed taking this TEFL course and was happy to complete it and receive my certificate. I learned a lot about teaching English, lesson planning, classroom activities, and working with different types of learners. The course gave me a good foundation and helped me feel more confident about getting started as a TEFL teacher. That being said, I still feel like I need more hands-on training and practice before I feel completely prepared to teach on my own. Overall, I’m glad I took the course and earned my certification, and I think it was a good starting point for my teaching journey.

I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the lessons and found the course structure and material really conducive to making real progress, and have seen a noticeable improvement in my speaking, reading and writing. The teachers also make interactions fun and are always ready to give detailed explanations for any queries I have!

I attended the language school for one week in May, and looking back, it was much more than just a language course – it was a really great experience. Even before arriving in China, I felt very well prepared and supported by the school. They provided me with lots of useful information and helpful tips for my trip and stay, and there was always someone available via WeChat whenever I had questions. Everything was very well organized from the beginning. I chose to stay with a local host family, which turned out to be one of the highlights of my stay. My host family was incredibly welcoming, warm and helpful, and they really made me feel at home from the first day. My classes consisted of a small group session with around 5–6 students, followed by 2–3 hours of private lessons. I really enjoyed both formats and learned a lot, even though I was only there for a week. I especially liked the combination of learning together in a group and then having more intensive one-on-one lessons. The experience outside the classroom was great as well. The group activities were well organized, everyone was very friendly, and newcomers were immediately welcomed and included. It was very easy to meet people and feel part of the group. My only regret is that I stayed for just one week! 😄 I honestly would have loved to stay longer. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a great combination of learning Chinese, experiencing everyday life in China, and meeting new people. I would definitely do it again – next time, I would just stay much longer!

I loved my experience in Kenya. It was both humbling and eye-opening. Seeing patients in open wards and watching doctors do everything they could with the resources available was difficult. There were moments when I felt helpless, knowing there was more I wanted to do but not having the skills or resources to change the situation. At the same time, seeing how much the doctors and nurses were able to accomplish with what they had was incredibly humbling. It pushed me to become more confident with taking histories, performing physical exams, and thinking through cases. More than anything, this experience changed the way I think about healthcare. I developed a much deeper appreciation for the resources and opportunities we have in the U.S, and a stronger understanding of why access to quality healthcare matters so much.

If you get the chance to study abroad with CEA Capa, you should. Participating in Cal Poly's First Year GO Program, and venturing on my own to Sevilla, Spain, was the best choice I could've made. Before I left, I was nervous, unsure, and had never before left the country on my own. With CEA Capa, everything felt do-able. We were welcomed into the city, housed at a very pleasant residence hall, and got to take classes in a beautiful historic building in the city-center. Studying abroad with CEA Capa gave me the opportunity to see the world, immerse myself in Spanish culture, and build a variety of skills that I will carry with me throughout my life.

What I love most about the Intensive Group Program is how practical the content is. Instead of just memorizing textbook dialogues, we practice vocabulary that I can actually use when walking around Hangzhou, ordering food, or taking taxis. The lessons cover speaking, listening, reading, and writing in a seamless flow. I noticed a massive jump in my daily comprehension within just three weeks. It’s intensive, well-structured, and incredibly rewarding!

Studying abroad in Singapore is the best decision I made during my college years. I got to explore my interests and travel to places I've always wanted to go to. I explored Bali, Johor Bahru, Shanghai, Seoul, Jeju, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Phuket, Danang, and Hanoi. Got to try a lot of yummy food and experience various cultures. The Hawker Centers and other food courts have so much variety and new cuisines to try. Singapore is extremely clean, and people there are kind and respectful in public spaces. They are willing to show up around and invite you to their culture. Being apart of a study abroad program was nice because I got to connect with others in the program. I got to attend the program events and learned more about Singapore. For instance, we went to Gardens by the Bay, Cloud Forest, Oceanarium, Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, and had group lunches/dinners. I really really enjoyed my time there and would love to go back.

The school's Nihao Cafe platform is hands down the best feature. Having all my class notes, custom vocabulary lists, and audio recordings automatically saved online makes post-class revision super straightforward. I can review everything on my phone while taking the metro or relaxing at home. It completely eliminates the need for messy notebooks and helps me retain new words much longer. It's a game-changer for effective language learning.

I started with 1-on-1 online classes before arriving in China, and the quality completely blew me away. The online system is stable, smooth, and highly interactive. My teacher shared custom materials on screen and updated my study notes in real-time. It gave me a solid foundation in basic Chinese and boosted my confidence before setting foot in Hangzhou.

I just wrapped up three weeks studying Mandarin at LTL Beijing, and wanted to share my experience, especially since between the homestay and my teacher, it ended up being way better than I expected going in. I did the homestay option, which I'd recommend without hesitation. My host family was genuinely amazing — the food was great every single day, and beyond that, we'd end up having long conversations in the evenings that I really looked forward to. What made it work was that they were good about adjusting how they spoke so I could actually follow along, rather than just talking at normal speed and leaving me lost. That probably did more for my listening and confidence than anything else during the trip. Classes with my teacher, Summer, were the other big highlight. She was just really nice, and the classes were joyful and funny, and full of chances to actually speak rather than just sit and listen. Time genuinely flew by in class, and by the end I'd made amazing progress, way more than I expected in just three weeks. On top of that, everyone at the school was just really nice, which made the whole experience feel welcoming rather than intimidating. If you're weighing whether to study Mandarin in Beijing, I'd genuinely recommend LTL.

I absolutely loved my time at LTL in Taipei. The whole team made my 2 week an unforgettable experience - from my fantastic teacher Bo Ruei to social organiser extraordinaire Sunny and the amazing Riona - everyone put so much effort in to making sure I felt welcomed, was enjoying my studies and had a great environment in which to meet and make friends. The beginner group classes were really fun and engaging, with studies progressing at a manageable but still challenging pace. Bo Ruei was such a great teacher and I am very grateful to have spent my 2 weeks with him! I also opted for the home stay option which I would highly recommend for a fully immersive experience. My home stay ‘aunties’ were so welcoming and caring and taught me lots about Taiwanese culture - I particularly enjoyed watching our nightly C-drama shows! A huge thank you to everyone at LTL and my home stay family for making my stay in Taiwan so memorable. Hopefully I’ll be back again!

I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to come to Palestine and meet the wonderful people here, everyone has been so friendly and I will leave satisfied that I have experienced the culture in full. I will definitely come to visit Hebron again!

I’d like to start off by expressing my utmost gratitude to African Conservation Experience (ACE) and the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre for allowing me the opportunity to work with such amazing creatures and people and for giving me encouragement to pursue a career in wildlife medicine and rehabilitation. I’ve yet to see a more driving force in the never-ending battle of environmental conservation. The level of compassion and effort they put into the welfare of the wildlife under their care left me awe-struck, to say the least. It’s no secret that environmentalism is an important cause that’s seldom prioritised in this world. Until you’ve put boots on the ground, it’s impossible to fully comprehend just how deeply rooted these issues lie and how much effort it takes to make short and long-term progress. During my time at Moholoholo, I was blessed to get elbow-deep in the dirty work of wildlife care and maintenance; everything from food prep to cleaning to enrichment required such a calculated approach to maximise the quality of life for those to be released and those who remain inhabitants at the sanctuary. I was able to see the full circle of life take place during my time there, seeing neonatal care, health maintenance of adult inhabitants, successful rehabilitation and release, and even the process and aftercare of the wildlife who passed on after succumbing to injuries too severe. I received an education like no other, learning about how all aspects of the local ecosystem interact with each other, and how we can help preserve and heal the areas that are in decline. Also, I was able to get an understanding of how the sociopolitical climates of the area affect everything from individual animals down to the quality of the soil that they tread upon. The people I met at ACE and Moholoholo are some of the most professional, wise, and compassionate people I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. I am so grateful to have worked with them, and I’m incredibly excited to return in the future!

Moving to China can be overwhelming, but the Hangzhou team made the entire process effortless. They helped me set up my local SIM card, guided me through Alipay, and provided full visa support. Whenever I had a question about city navigation or housing, Michael and the team were always there with quick, helpful advice. Their hospitality made me feel safe and supported throughout my stay. I am super grateful!

The cultural activities organized by the Hangzhou team are fantastic! We’ve enjoyed traditional tea masterclasses, dumpling making, and visits to local historical sites. These events are not only fun, but they also give us a natural environment to practice our Chinese outside the classroom while making great friends from around the world. It’s the perfect way to dive deep into Chinese traditions while building real conversational fluency.

Combining language study with living in Hangzhou has been a dream. The city offers a unique mix of breathtaking natural scenery—like West Lake and tea mountains—alongside cutting-edge tech hubs. Studying at That's Mandarin placed me right in the heart of this vibrant culture. After morning classes, I love exploring local tea houses or scenic canals with classmates.

I was very satisfied with the TEFL course and found it extremely useful and valuable. Even though I have been teaching online for several years, I still learned many new methods, techniques, and approaches that I had not used before. These have given me new ideas for my future lessons and will help me make my teaching more varied, effective, and engaging. What I especially appreciated was the comprehensive structure of the course. It covered all the important areas of teaching, from grammar and methodology to online teaching and working with groups. I also liked the fact that the course did not focus only on theoretical knowledge, but required us to reflect on what we had learned and demonstrate that we could apply it in practice. I was also very satisfied with the support provided by the mentors. Their helpfulness, professionalism, kindness, and encouraging attitude made the whole learning experience even more positive. I am particularly grateful to my mentor for the guidance and support I received throughout the course. I am very happy that I chose to complete my TEFL course with this provider, and I would definitely consider taking further courses with them in the future. Overall, I am completely satisfied with my experience. I learned a great deal, gained new perspectives on teaching, and received knowledge that I will be able to use in my professional practice.
