Xplore Thailand TEFL Program with Guaranteed Placement

Moved from South Africa to Thailand to teach Kindergarten (K1) at Mantanusorn School. I navigated visa processes, border runs (Laos/Myanmar), and living costs across currencies (THB, ZAR, LAK, KRW). Explored local travel within Thailand (Bangkok–Chumphon routes, Koh Phangan, Hua Hin, night. markets). Experienced culture shock but adapted with support from XploreAsia and colleagues.

I completed my three-week TESOL course in Hua Hin, and it was an amazing experience. The program was very well-structured, giving us a solid foundation in teaching, while also including immersive classroom observation. I was surrounded by people from diverse backgrounds—some with prior teaching experience, others like me just starting their journey. The Explore Asia team made sure everything ran smoothly and provided all the support we needed throughout the course. What I appreciated most was how attentive they were to our preferences. They were committed to ensuring I received a placement that truly suited me, including my preferred location. During my second week, I was contacted for an interview and received a positive response just three days later. Even though the process was fast, the team remained supportive and attentive, making sure my placement matched my expectations. The TESOL program was engaging, practical, and perfectly balanced between learning and real classroom experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better start to my teaching career.

The Adventure Camp was everything they said it would be and more! I had the opportunity to teach with a group of amazing people in schools around Thailand. I loved that the camps that our coordinator arranged for us had various age groups and proficiency levels. The coordinators provided by XploreAsia were extremely helpful and always available if we had concerns or needed any assistance.
