An unforgettable experience with XploreAsia – A Life-Changing Program!
by: Schuyler Hertel - United StatesProgram: XploreAsia TESOL/TEFL in Hua Hin, ThailandIf you’re thinking about teaching English in Southeast Asia, I highly recommend XploreAsia! My three weeks in Thailand with them were incredible. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that XploreAsia isn’t just about placing you in a teaching job – it’s about making sure you have a rich, transformative experience both personally and professionally. Throughout the program, we participated in Thai cooking classes, Muay Thai training, hikes to temples and waterfalls, meditated with monks, volunteered at an animal rescue shelter, and even had Thai language lessons. There were also group beach dinners and movie nights – all amazing ways to bond with like-minded people from around the world. What sets XploreAsia apart is their genuine care for each participant. They provide practical support, like helping with bank accounts, SIM cards, accommodations, and transportation to your placement. They also check in regularly to make sure everyone is doing well, and they make it clear that they’re always available for help even after you leave. I’ve made lifelong friends and feel confident that XploreAsia has set me up for success. I’m so glad I chose them, and I can’t recommend this program enough!

Great support through the course and after placement.

XploreAsia is not just a placement program, it's a family!
by: Blade Speicher - United StatesProgram: XploreAsia TESOL/TEFL in Hua Hin, ThailandXploreAsia did a great job of preparing me for the both the exciting new opportunities living in Thailand provides, as well as the culture shock and challenges of living and teaching in a new country. However, the greatest thing about the organization is the instant community you become a part of. Moving abroad and starting with 0 connections in a new place where you don't speak the language can be daunting, but going through XploreAsia, I instantly had a network of new friends and colleagues I could fall back on. I truly feel like I'm part of a family with XploreAsia. The staff, in addition to being great at helping with training, visa inquiries, job placement, and overall support, is super friendly and welcoming. They do a great job of fostering a community amongst the new teachers through their organized trips and activities during training, and meetups and reunions after we've all gone our separate ways. Having the XploreAsia network in my back pocket has made it much easier to assimilate into living and teaching in Bangkok!

Around 18 years ago, a friend of mine called me. She was unhappy with her career in Canada and debating going abroad to teach English in Taiwan. At age 26, she'd never traveled anywhere before; and she was a bit daunted by the prospect of traveling halfway around the world all alone. She wanted my advice.
