The content of the course is really good. The communication was very good, my questions/concerns were always answered and I was always helped. I was very nervous for the in person session of the course, but it was such a welcoming environment which made me feel safe to learn and make mistakes in the process. I am forever grateful that I decided to complete this course.

I had such a wonderful experience in gaining valuable knowledge by completing the TEFL TTA level 5 Diploma. It is a great course with sufficient learning information and helpful, supportive, friendly and professional tuter support. I found the content of the course sound and think the different approaches to learning a language was interesting. However, seeing that the course is mainly about learning a foreign language I would have enjoyed a deeper understanding of language acquisition. Stephen Krashen and Noam Chomsky come to mind and their different approaches. I understand that the basic principles of teaching a language should be mastered but eventually, depending on the group that you are teaching, one has to develop an approach which has the most success. Your approach would also be influenced by the content that is being taught.

Honestly went far above and beyond what I expected, so many incredible tips, resources, links and ideas and truly incredible in their teaching and explanations. All the additional respurces and the extra courses and list of references really truly are wonderful and incredibly practical.

I had a great experience taking the Level 5 TEFL Course. I have gained a lot of knowledge which will definitely help me start my career as a teacher whether will be online or travelling around the world. The course was quite easy to follow and to complete the knowledge tests at the end.I am so grateful and happy that I had the chance to complete the course and that I passed all the required assignments, and I will receive my certificate soon! Starting this course was very spur of the moment and I did not know what it was going to be like going into it but ever since the first lesson I have been hooked on becoming a teacher. The tools and recourses that are given throughout the course are not there to do everything for you but help you along the way and learn it all first hand so that you can really carry that knowledge and confidence into a classroom.

The online certification course in Teaching English as a Foreign Language taught me many essential skills and provided me with countless practical tools related to my native language that I hope to use going forward in live and virtual classrooms. A good course with lots of practical advice. Geared towards teaching young learners but that is to be expected. Some challenging assignments which were the hardest part of the course. Easy to navigate online and well structured.

I recently completed the TEFL Academy Level 5 Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, developing practical and theoretical skills in lesson planning, classroom management, teaching methodology, English grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and the four core language skills. The qualification strengthened my ability to design learner-centred lessons, adapt teaching materials to different learner levels and needs, and communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively. Combined with my professional background in contract negotiation, contract management, corporate governance and AML, the qualification provides a strong foundation for teaching Business English and Professional English, particularly to adult and professional learners in international business environments.

I’ve been teaching English in South Korea for 5 years yet I had no teaching certificate which always made me feel vulnerable and lacking..I was good at my job and all I needed was a documented proof to solidify my position. I searched online and found that The Tefl Academy was popular and strongly recommended by many teachers so I started right away.
