It is a nice course with many learning task and affordable price. I needed the subtitle on video so I think the video collection is good for student like me. I can understand most of what the lecturer say, but subtitle are the number one . Next we have task and activity that I like alot and then ideas of games I can use to my young student.

Not much to say aside from that this was perfect for my budget and level. I knew nothing about tefl before, but now I feel like I know alot. I finished in 6 weeks with weekend study and a bit of night reading. It's not boring, but it is work. Resources were useful and everything was where I'd say it should be.

I will try to keep my experience short and helpful to others. The learning environment of the course is excellent, it’s smooth and responsive, loading quickly. The content is great value because there is a large quantity of information in each unit with video. Activities are helpful. One thing they should look at is how to allow quiz repeat attempts without answering the exact same questions if I was correct the first time. The course is strong.

The videos make this very good value for money: there's a British guy who narrates the 120 hr course videos that appear alongside/above the course text and that was good for me. The assessments come after practice ones, and everything is intuitive and well-arranged. I learned a great deal.

Better than previous course I took because of videos and problem-solving and abundance of info, but I really want to see more about how different TEFL jobs vary (eg public school Vs academy). As someone with experience in public school, I did find most of the stuff on methods and assessment etc interesting, and the scenario tasks did try to provide examples, but I'd like to see more explicit differences (similar to how they highlighted seating arrangement differences) - just a minor improvement area. Aside from this, this was much more detailed than the course I did 5 or thereabouts years ago (company went bust). The value for money here is incredible, so its hard to not recommend it.

Good communication when needed (it's self-paced, so it's mostly not needed), nicely delivered course materials, and lots of extra tips and videos make this course a bargain. I especially liked the feedback system on practice tasks.

I loved this! I took the 168 hour course and was gobsmacked by how much value there was in the course. I intend to teach where my roots are in China and wanted a TEFl course that was a nice blend of affordable and educational...this turned out to be it. Getting to this company wasn't easy - I refunded a cheaper course because it was all text and fluffy theory without anything that really caught my attention (i literally fell asleep reading and scrolling lol), but this was much more interactive with at least more clicking plus it had audio that I could play if I wanted to do other things while studying. It's hard to describe the formula for this course, but it works! Did it take me 168 hours to complete? No. Could it have done if I read and watched everything? Easily. What was my secret? (I didn't read or watch everything...I skipped parts...). Really though this was an excellent course and has relieved my mind a little about what to expect from teaching English. Oh and the tutor Jimmy/Jonny(?...) was super helpful with advice and information regarding getting my certificate apostilled. Do I recommend this TEFL site? 99% - I'll keep that 1% just in case my experience isn't everyones (lol! No I'm sure I'm the nomr rather than the exception). For 30 pounds, this was an epic purchase and I'll happily share my positive experience with others.

You can't argue with what this is, it's a cheap course that gives you class bang for yer buck. There was a wee moment when I wondered if it was legit, but once you head into the login bit it's plush and full of wee activities and nuggets of info. No complaints here about the course, but after they could do with a wee area to apply for jobs. They have links but then you have to go through agencies. They all seem fine with the certificate, so that's the big win at the end I spose.

Good overall. A couple of times the quiz froze, but it all saved. Staff were on it quickly and I assume it was just a tech glitch. Other than that, it was a frictionless experience but a fair bit of work. Great value considering what I paid versus learned.

I'm definitely impressed despite them not having live jobs to offer. The course was every bit as good as they claim, and it's fairly practical with problem solving missions to do and questions to answer on pro teachers in lessons. That was worth the money alone.

100% recommend to try this. They moved me from old course system to new one - much faster. Old system was good b with nice reading, videos, and actions, but new system is lovely and everything is better. I learn many things and enjoyed it.

I have my experience here being very smooth and I learned many things. I think that they have put much time into the course and the activity to help us remember and to test learning. I enjoy muchly the watching of real teachers with classes.

I'm happy to report that everything was excellent with Study TEFL - it's legit and the cert's accepted for online teaching platforms. I learned so much with their course. I did the 120 hours TEFL-TESOL which included a full unit on online teaching - this really helped me to understand what I'd be expected to do. Especially helpful are the full ESL classroom model videos. I finished the course after 4 weeks of study.

I'd like to thank the study TEFL team for their help and to making this very good for learning easily the content. There are so many video to watch and many thing to keep being engaged. It's very good price for everything you have.

I'm full of positive things to say about this outfit. Sure, I'd love to have the option of a practical Zoom class or something (paying a bit more, obviously!) and a bit more info pre-signup, but it really is class what you get for 30 quid. Staff are brilliant.

It's an easy course to recommend to others because they give you so much. I can confirm what another reviewer said about human voices on the text narration, which makes things much better. I actually started 2 months ago and though the AI never bothered me, it just wasn't engaging - the human voices are so much better to listen to when you're taking in the subtitles. I didn't even touch the text aside from a quick scan when I took the quizzes. The videos make this a massive bargain. The feedback given on their problem solving tasks is equally good because it takes things a bit further than the video explanations. Overall, the course was just nice and approachable and made sense in the way it was ordered.

This was a top course in many ways. 1) Very clear content 2) Very detailed content 3) Every unit built on the previous one so by the time of lesson planning I was confident to know what's going on 4) the videos were everywhere and very useful to see teaching in the class 5) friendly staff got my certificat fast

I hadn't expected this would be so well put together, so it was a pleasant surprise when I clicked into the course. I know now that there's a lesson I could've viewed to know this beforehand, but they should make it more obvious to students as it would've put my mind at ease to see how good the lessons are before paying. Regardless, it turned out to be a wonderful learning experience and I was taken a bit aback by how much they managed to fit into the course. I did the 120 hour TEFL-TESOL, and I gladly recommend it to others for its content and interactive nature.

Everything worked well and I've finished with a really positive feeling. There was a nice pattern to the lessons and you soon get into where they're going with the structure. I didn't need any tutor support, and I'm not really sure why anyone would! Brilliant for the price.

Yes the course is great, though I'm sure others are too or they wouldn't be in business surely(?), but what made this such good value was the fast support. I needed a name change on my certificate - immediate response, though they said not to expect that next time...next time came when I asked for their apostle partner and I got an immediate response! Yes, I'm sure I was lucky to get 2 lightning responses, but that's my experience. This just stuck out and exemplifies my experience. Thank you!

I tried their free lesson and though I didn't understand all of the questions because it's a later ones in the course it gave me confidence in the company. The course is wonderful and I fully recommend to try it whether looking for a cheap course or something feeling more expensive

The course had a few positive changes from when I started back in November. They have much better videos now - only AI on the videos on young learners but not in the main course area (so much better hearing a real person speaking). They also have a nice practice quiz to help review before the main unit quizzes, which helped me remember lots more. The content is nicely structured so that everything makes sense with grammar not all put together, for example. There were no hidden charges.

This was initially recommended by Chatgpt, and now I highly recommend this course (as long as you don't need full job support). The teaching methods are clear with an array of information that went into what to teach along with how to teach it. The best part is that there are videos of real English classes with teachers taking classes. It's exactly what I wanted. Now, my only disappointment was that rather than offer jobs, the course only provided job information and recruiter links rather than updated job links every day. That said, staff were very helpful in pointing me to their resources. It also seems like they're renewing their video content to have a real teacher speaking instead of AI, which is far better! All in all, I found so much value in the Studytefl course.

This was a country mile better than the other nonsense course I refunded before it (which took me a while to do). This company is not only quick to respond to emails (unlike the one I dealt with but won't name) and have everything I needed to actually learn to teach. The course goes far beyond just naming grammar terms or jargon and gets down into examples of how to teach all kinds of content ranging from words to topics and yes, grammar. The instructional videos were excellent because they showed real teachers with real classes and gave feedback on them as well as asking questions to help you understand them more. Now that I've done the course, I would be happy paying way more, but am left feeling extremely happy that I didn't need to! This is a 100% win and I've already recommended to my friend who's thinking of teaching in China with me. Thanks ST!

I found these guys through chatGPT and am really happy with everything they included. The course isn't perfect of course (a few spelling mistakes here and there and a lesson flow that gave 3 answers instead of 1, for example) but I'd still describe it as excellent because its given me confidence that I can teach. I was expecting it to take a couple of nights to get through but it was alot of work - it's full of useful information, so don't expect to get it carved out quickly as that's not possible. The more I think about it, the better the price actually was.

There was much to like about studyTEFL.com, but I think my favorite thing was after I'd finished, I got an email with my certificates with 3 links of public places to review (this being one). That's refreshing to me. They also asked me to email them if there was anything else I wanted to know or anything I could tell them about my experience to improve their course. Well, here goes: the course was excellent, but not just for its budget price. I don't know how many words of text there are, but there are pages and pages (and I downloaded them all!) There are review activities every unit and scenario learning quizzes, but hands down the best thing were the videos of real classes being taught. It's a well-organized course with every corner filled with learning content. The small let down was their use of AI audio, but according to Dom, who I think is the lead tutor, they're having a mass overhaul to replace the audio and their LMS. You can absolutely navigate the whole course without any need for audio, but if that's a no-no to you then you're advised to wait until they have their new system (assuming they bring it in that is). In my opinion, it's a clear 10 stars old system, new system, just as it is.

I got this done while I was traveling in Thailand (now in Cambodia) so that I can pick up some work down the line when I need more funds. First up, this is amazing value as they haven't cut corners with what's included. The text is full of tips and it's worded in a not too boring way that keeps you going (though I did slip into a heavy sleep a couple of times when I did it in bed - to be fair, that 's more it being night than anything else!). I didn't bother with the videos, but it was nice being able to go through their scenario quizzes to go over everything and see where it kind of fitted in with actual teaching. They claim this isn't in most tefl courses but I have no clue about whether this is true or not, just that it was really useful. When I finished, the message said I'd wait 12 hours for the certification to be official, but one of their tutors sent it within 25 minutes which was a bonus. I strongly recommend this course and studytefl

I'm not one for mincing my words, so I'll say it again, this was brilliant value. I did my research on this course and read most reviews and most of their webpages before I bought in. It's a serious course with alot going for it. Now, I think they could do with segmenting some of their text, but that's it, you get alot of steak with this one and little gristle. Seriously recommended.

I would never take an online course if there was a cheap version in the flesh, but there isn't, so I did what I had to. This course served my needs. The videos are half AI and half other ones, which is fine and they worked well. The text was really detailed and I learned lots from it. They say to read twice and watch videos once, but that'd put you over the time, so I watched on 2x speed and skimmed once, which gave me everything I needed to get everything bolted in for the quizzes. It's a simple course format but there are numerous units. To give you an idea of what to expect, you have videos of the text, text, a practice quiz, extra videos (I didn't watch any of these except the ones of people teaching classes), and then they have these multiple choice scenario things that are like quizzes but give you feedback (these are useful). After all this, you take the unit quiz. It's a ton of stuff but I guess that's their niche - budget but full of info. I got a lot out of it.

If you looking for a 120 hours TEFL course only online then I can recomend this one. I paid $39 not $29 the price it says here. This course is excellent and gives many informations and trainings about how a teacher can act when teaching different things. I am happy to give a reference to studytefl.com and their teaching method.

I got this ticked off from my list of loose ends a couple of days ago. I procrastinated actually starting the course that I'd paid for back in September until a couple of weeks ago when I finally got a fresh burst of motivation to get it done and kick on with the plan to quit my job and teach abroad. The course was great and I'm more than happy with the setup and support I received. It's a solid course.

I've been teaching for a few years and figured I knew most of this stuff, so when admin told me the new boss wanted all teachers to have TEFLs, I sneered. But it turns out there was a lot I didn't actually know. Don't get me wrong, lots of this stuff I've been doing since a few months in, but there were many parts I had no idea about and others that I was kind of doing but not fully committed (as is always the case when you have a partial idea but no evidence to back it up). Considering I was forced to do a course, I'm glad I picked this one and will recommend it to my colleagues.

I started this in December and just finished it yesterday. I payed $39, not the $29 price it says here, though I think I could pay more for this course easily. Before I enrolled up for the course I read the reviews are good, so I will give back here. I enjoyed muchly the videos of the AI because it was so clear but the text is also very good because you can download and summary it. For me, the best thing though is the practical parts at the end of each unit where you can make a picture for how the class real is going to be. This is much more than I thought it can be for the price, so yes I recommend it muchly.

The course have many unit and nice engagement, with quiz in all unit and video lesson to listen and watch when I am bored of the reading. I sometimes need to take photo and translate word in text but usually I understand no problem. Staff is very very kind when I email with question so I am happy with quality and how much I pay

First of all, the learning text and videos clear and have a fairly engaging voice behind them. The AI videos were really useful to echo the reading. Every lesson felt professional and purposeful with all but a few including practice quiz sessions after the text (the feedback from these made up for getting no detailed feedback in the assessed quizzes. The 2 small errors I found were in videos - staff seemed interested in them when I mentioned it in email feedback. I'd happily pay more for this than what I did.

From start to finish this was a very professional course. I understood the intention of every lesson and I appreciated how everything was arranged in a predictable order. Everything was included just as it was in the free lesson and the certificate was promptly emailed to me well within the 24 hours that they specified. I deliberated for a moment whether 10 out of 10 is a broadcastable score for this course: on one hand, for what is provided for the price, it is conceivably a 10/10, but I think they'd need to invest more in their optics and practical landscape for me to realistically give a 10, but then it would involve them likely needing to charge more. As it is, I have no reservations at all in encouraging others to train in TEFL via this course, but you shouldn't expect an online platform that's on par with what you find on Udemy or similar.

I was looking for something cheap that had decent quality teaching and this popped up in my search. I had no idea it had so much video, but that was def a little bonus. Everything worked well so the automation was perfect for what I wanted and can actually say I learned a stack of ways to teach. Next up is finding a job!

For brevity, I'll list my positive takeaways: clear and useful learning material that covered so much ground, kind and responsive staff, good review materials, and actually very practical considering it's online. Things I'd improve: a phone number (I almost didn't sign up but email responses were so good that I was persuaded to). Also, I'd provide youtube videos as an alternative to your ones (once or twice the streaming went funny, so I had to refresh a couple of times to get them working, but I've never seen that happen with YouTube...).

I paid $34 for this (not $29 as shown here FYI) and it was easily worth it. They include a range of materials and units cover alot of topics. The text was good for really understanding the theory and key ideas but I actually enjoyed the audio/A.I. videos as well. I think what you get for the price is insane, though I'd pay much more for practical assignments with some feedback to let me know that my understanding was deep enough. It seems they tried to circumvent this, or make up for it, with different teaching scenario response generators but I think all they really need is to simplify it and set a few written tasks or similar.

Good/not bad - Some small annoyances like logging me out for 5 minutes and a few videos occasionally not playing, but n9thing major. I thought the lesson text content was good and some videos also, but I wanted short answer questions or something to test me a bit more

Many exercises that helped me feel like I learned alot and I felt like the course did a good job of helping me understand what it'll be like in the classroom with the videos and flow things that they have dotted throughout. The reason I haven't given it a full 10 is that they put the price up a bit as it was a bit cheaper and on here it says $29. It's actually on their website as more now.

The good: fast technical response (login issue fixed quickly), really interesting and useful text, quite interactive considering, and put together well. The bad: not all videos were AI but it just isn't my thing so I skipped them, I'd pay more for a real voice behind every video, and I'd like the option for assessments (again, I'd pay more). The gist: very comprehensive, a bargain for the price, but not perfect.

Excellent! I've never taken an online course before but this was excellent all over. I chose the 168 hours TEFL course because it was still very reasonable for what they promised. The course was actually 3 rolled into 1 ( the 120 + kids and adults ones) and though the 120 has way more jammed in, I found the other ones very full of good information. I think there were less videos and activities but more overall text and tips. My tutor was very fast to issue my certificate once I finished.

I figured for the price, it'd be a simple read, click, pass kind of deal, but it's surprisingly deep. You don't need to watch or read everything, but the quizzes and tests do ask an array of questions on the material, so I found it better to complete everything. Besides, I actually enjoyed most of what I was learning. The first thing I noticed was that there's ALOT of content. I think they could maybe trim it into smaller sections so that it goes 5 minute video and have the text next to it in the same section, then repeat etc, but it works fine as it is. They include review activities and supplementary material, though I only did the activities. The autonomy of the course suited my needs as it meant I could tackle chunks of it when I didn't have much going on at the weekend or on weeknights, but it would be nice if they could offer a tag-on practical component or Zoom meet where teachers could practice teaching in front of each other. I'd definitely pay more for that. All in all, I found the course to exceed my expectations by a mile. I went for the premium package, by the way, and it worked out nicely as I have a printer at home.

It's a very good course for a new teacher. I learned about managing the class, planning lessons and motivating students but the module about making lessons into games and giving games ideas was the favorite. Was there anything to improve? Yes, I think maybe they can follow their advices and make more games in their teaching like giving points and badges. I'm very happy about the price and certificate too.

This is a bargain. At first, I was concerned about whether I'd login and find nightmareishly thin materials or something like that, but after a few lessons I realized it was consistently high quality with everything just like the free lessons I tried. My next concern as I neared the finish line was whether they'd send the certificate like they'd said (you can bet safely that yes I emailed before! Twice!) and if it'd be accepted by agencies. Well they did and it was, which makes me not only relieved but extremely happy with my choice and hence my glowing review!

I went on a couple of A.I. platforms to ask about cheap TEFL and then did a bit of a Google search. I was surprised about the number of options out there. I emailed a few providers to ask about their 120 hour courses and decided on this one because they responded right away and directed me to their course page and free lessons to see the depth of what they would give me if I signed up. I was a bit astounded at what the money would get me, so it wasn't a tough decision. It was smooth going as everything is pretty much automatic from enrolment to finishing the last test, but I did contact the TEFL team to ask about upgrading to the print at home certificate pack, and managed to get that tagged on for a small payment. I could go on and on about the value of the course, but I'll just say that this course is fantastic value. I've now printed my cert because I'm considering applying in Vietnam, but the digital one was accepted by online platforms, so it seems like it's unnecessary to upgrade in most cases. To conclude, I vehemently recommend this provider and their 120 hour TEFL.

I can't think of any real negatives to be honest - nothing unexpected except for the quality of the course textbook material and the sheer amount of knowledge they brought to the table. I'm not a big one for videos unless there's a lot of movement, so I just watched the extra video material and stuck to reading the texts twice to get everything learned deeply enough. The course has good review activities that I was really into, and it seemed to help me pass the unit tests with a good score. There's so much to this course, which was pleasantly surprising.

I am so impressed with the breadth of knowledge covered by this 120 hours course - at times I felt there was almost too much that I was a bit worried I wasn't going to remember enough. I ended up filling a lined notepad with course notes which ultimately helped me with the quizzes rather than relying on the pdf files. I was pleasantly surprised that there were so many videos, but making these downloadable would've been better to help me have access in the future. There were plenty of activities to review the coursework in pretty interesting ways. My only complaints stem from pre- and post- course, as it's difficult to have any objections with the course itself considering the price and the level of detail it covers. I found it hard to get answers to my questions on the frequently asked questions page, and once I got my certificates, the pages on finding jobs didn't give as much guidance on how to fill out applications, for example: I expected a full recruitment service. When I asked, I was treated courteously by email, but I would expect a training company to also take care of the job application side of things, also.

I chose this first and foremost due to their curriculum, and second for price. It seems like most cheap courses only cover 12 modules, but this one has over 20. The first couple of modules were just intro stuff, but then the course got really interesting with useful content. Every module had maybe 5 to 10 videos, mostly with a teacher speaking to the camera, but some with animations, etc. which gave me a deeper understanding than the text parts sometimes covered. Most modules also had interactive questions that were a bit different from multiple choice questions, like they moved from one to the other in sequence as if teaching. These became really valuable as the course progressed because they made me think back and kind of imagine lots of things going on at the same time in a classroom. I think there were also around 6 or 7 real class lessons shown over the course which were incredibly helpful to go along with the imagination sequences. I thoroughly enjoyed the course.

I read online that courses under fifty bucks are just paper mills, handing out certificates practically with no real course training. I actually saw one that was boasting about only being 200 multiple choice questions. Thankfully, this course isn't like that at all: there's so much quality content, and the multi choice is pretty rigorous with a bit of critical thinking required. I highly recommend it.

I was a tad apprehensive about doing this because it seemed a bit too cheap to be legit and, well, because its an online course that eats up my free time. At the end of the day though, I'm glad I did it. It was a great course with a lot more to it than I'd considered. It did take me quite a while to get through everything, but once I got into a weekend routine it was easy to plough through it. I experienced one issue with a lesson practice time quiz getting stuck ,but they fixed it as soon as I messaged. I feel like it was really well put together for beginners like me to be able to understand and learn even more than basics, so I recommend it.

I'm writing this review because I received a few review options upon completing the course and recognised this one from the other choices. My first communication with the customer service team wasn't anything special: they were friendly and professional but I was expecting more of a sales pitch or effort, I suppose. They answered my questions and directed me to their website frequently asked questions. Once I was satisfied with what they offered, also checking out some reviews, I signed up for their cheapest course, which seems to be a quid cheaper than the price quoted on this site, so it seems like you're better off purchasing it on the actual site than here. Payment was easy through paypal, and the course was actually much more intense and jammed full of information and review activities than I had anticipated. For me, this was a pleasant surprise. Everything worked well, quizzes went as expected because I watched the videos and read the text like they explained I should. I did notice that 2 short videos from the pre-course units (without quizzes) were used again in one of the assessed units, but that was the only thing I noticed in the sense of errors. Having taught ESL as a volunteer before, I recognised some of the ideas and experiences that different units taught, such as using imaginative resources and games to make classes more engaging, but I feel much more prepared for teaching for money now. My login still works after a week, so I really hope they fulfill their promise of unlimited access. The key thing for me is that I learned lots and got my certificate successfully downloaded. I didn't opt for the slightly more expensive option because I can't see myself needing to use any verification system. All in all, I definitely recommend this company and the 120 hour course.

I was surprised and released of tension when I started the course because the price made me think it was going to be changing quality from the free lesson or something similar. The course actually is extremely professional and visually attractive all the way through. The course is instant to access as claimed and I could work my way past each unit with the next unit released of instant. I started in May and finished 2 days before now. I have my digital certificate now also and will recommend studytefl.com

When I got my certs at the end, I actually had a quick laugh to myself, probably out of happiness but also relief that it wasn't a scam. Seriously, the course is amazing but I was expecting them to ask for more money to get the digital certs emailed or something. The only time I had contact with them was to get my middle name added to my cert, and they did this quickly- I have no idea about the rest of their customer service beyond this. I'm sure the price had a huge positive impact on me but I really did feel that everything was well-organized with lots of video access. Btw, I paid $33 not $29

I finished this course earlier this year actually but I was asked to share my experience by an email so here I am... I really found the content helpful and easy to understand which is important because I'm not a first language English speaker. The videos were informational and helped me to review the writing information to understand with deep. I am able to pass the unit quizzes with easy scores over 75% on my first trial without needing to ask for help with anything. The only times I needed to contact the workers was at the begin of the course and the end. The price is so cheap so I wanted to check the course is real and at the end I wanted to add my middle name to my documents. The staff was always friendly and kind and replied me very quickly both times. To make things short I recommend the study tefl course because it is cheap and has good information.

I really want to recommend everything about this course and the staff were great. I was worried about it being cheap but nothing felt cheap. The course had video and many written content but it was interesting to learn the different parts like culture differences and age group differences for example. The certificate is also very nice and they send one I can print.

I found the course very helpful and full of interesting activity ideas to use. In the few times I contacted the tutor, he was very helpful and fast to respond. It is great value and went over my expecting. It took 24 hours to send my certificates, but that was ok
