I thoroughly enjoyed the course, thank you so much to Michelle Benson. I learnt so much over the 10 hours. Michelle made the course fun, interactive, and full of tips and ideas and it was so well structured. I’ve come away feeling very positive, confident and prepared in teaching lessons. The 5 weeks in Jakarta was filled with fun, learning and new experiences! Truly a step out of my comfort zone for me but it was a time of personal and professional growth that I will always be grateful for.

The staff of this outfit are brilliant and make a huge difference to everything. I refunded a previous course (eventually) and decided to try this one out without much optimism to be honest, but they changed my opinion within the first email exchange. When someone actually responds quickly and actually fixes your issue it makes a huge difference. I made a mistake typing in my email and they sorted it quick sharp. The course was class (whey!) and more in line with what I was looking for. I enjoyed most units amd liked being able to go at my own pace without annoying time hurdles or having to get something in on time - said goodbye to that at uni thanks. The staff make this brilliant but the course itself more than holds its own. Well done

Had so much fun and all the supervisors were amazing, especially Am and Braxtin. Overall the program was very organized and had a good mix of planned activities versus free time. Couldn’t recommend more.

Jennifer Carrero Visiting Student, Human Genetics and Therapeutics Lab King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) BSc Bioanalysis, University of the Andes (Venezuela) During my time at KAUST, I worked on a molecular and cellular biology research project focused on gene function, gaining hands-on experience with techniques such as cell culture, CRISPR-based gene editing, qPCR, and protein analysis. The collaborative and international environment at KAUST made this experience both scientifically enriching and personally rewarding. My advice to future interns is to be proactive, ask questions, and take full advantage of the mentorship and resources available.

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to intern with Art Bound Initiative and gain hands-on experience in a real office environment. I was welcomed warmly by everyone at the firm and given meaningful time, tasks, and guidance that allowed me to learn, grow, and actively contribute. I appreciated being trusted to share ideas, support senior designers, and take part in real projects, which made the experience both valuable and rewarding. Coming from Australia, this internship was also a life-changing opportunity to live and work in another country for the first time. Beyond developing my graphic design skills, I learned a great deal about myself, professional responsibility, and the art and design culture of another country. This experience has greatly enriched my knowledge, confidence, and perspective.

Bail Turtle Conservation: I have a new found love for baby sea turtles!! I will truly miss seeing their wonderful little faces, feeding them daily, brushing them and catching live turtles for them to eat. What an amazing experience I will never forget. The people you meet while volunteering are people that have like minded passions and are amazing. Thank you Green Lion for your passion & project, and the team at IVHQ for all your help.

I had such a wonderful experience at Agualivar. The teachers were warm, friendly, and skilled. The program is structured in a way that provides variation throughout the day and week. Accommodations were lovely and the food was delicious. And of course my Spanish was much improved after just one week! I had so much fun and would happily return in the future. I've recommended this program to friends at all levels of Spanish speaking.

We spent two weeks in December 2025 volunteering with VWI as part of the Family Volunteer Program. It was a life changing experience for my family, which consisted of my husband and I and 3 children aged 7, 9 and 11 years. We were volunteering at a boys shelter and teaching English and Mathematics to children aged 6-17. The program was well organised and we couldn't have survived without Pradeep (Program Director) and Shekar (our driver). Pradeep and Shekar were so accommodating and made us feel so welcome. Over the two weeks we developed beautiful relationships with the boys and felt that we were doing something that made a difference in the world. The purpose of our trip was to provide our children with greater insight into the lives of others and to make a meaningful contribution. It was the most authentic rewarding experience of our lives where we lived in Jaipur for two weeks and we are able to explore the city, while also participating in the volunteer program. I would highly recommend the program to other travellers who are looking for a different experience while travelling.

When I first come to china I couldn’t say any words then after one month of studying Chinese in That’s mandarin I have learned a lot of words and now I can speak and understand a little bit of Chinese and that’s allowed me to even go to more places and talk with locals and understand them.
