The TEFL Org

This course design is highly practical and useful. The TEFL course I took not only enhanced my skills in designing TEFL classes but also provided valuable insights that can be applied to any class design.

I’ve been teaching English for over 30 years, having first studied it as part of my linguistics degree in the 1990s, but I recently needed to obtain a formal TEFL qualification. The 120-hour Premier TEFL course with TEFL Org was clear, practical, and very professionally delivered. The modules on grammar, methodology, lesson planning, and video observation were especially valuable and immediately useful for both online and in-person teaching. The course strengthened my confidence, refreshed key skills, and provided an up-to-date, recognised qualification. I’m very pleased I chose TEFL Org and would happily recommend the programme to others.

I joined the TEFL certification program with prior knowledge in educational design. I hold a MAT in Art Education among other degrees, and have taught aspiring art educators at the university level. The TEFL program is a well rounded and academically sound program. It covers both low level and high level techniques, and it prepares those with less experience very well. For those who have experience, the content is familiar but not redundant, as the program highlights the differences between teaching within ones native language, versus presenting it to students who are unfamiliar with the complexities of the language. All in all, it is an excellent certification to pickup, even if the intention is not to teach non-native speakers, as it forces the educator to think critically about their presentation skills, scaffolding, and modeling.
