Online Level 3 TEFL Course

This was an accessible course in plain English with plenty of opportunity to test our knowledge with interactive activities and quizzes. Whoever wrote this course knew many of us hadn’t set foot in a classroom for years, and while I was fortunate enough to pass everything first time (I took copious notes to refer back to), I always kept in mind that failure is an opportunity to learn. If I made a mistake, I wasn’t spoon fed the answer, they elicited and redirected me, something you learn in this course.

I've been stuck in a monotonous loop in my career biology/public health/ lecturing career wondering how to revitalize in an impactful way. Getting TEFL qualified has given me the tools to do just that- tapping into a market of people who have their own talents and gifts to offer society, save for a language barrier that I have now been equipped with the skill set to turn into an opportunity and strength. I look forward to doing so in a global landscape that was initially not available to me.

I have just completed the TEFL Academy Level 3 course. The course was very beneficial, particularly in helping me understand different teaching methodologies and how to apply them in real classroom situations. I really enjoyed learning about the methodologies and appreciated how the course shared practical tools that I can use when lesson planning and teaching. The assignments were challenging, but they were well designed and allowed me to practise what I learned, especially in lesson planning and integrating different topics effectively. Overall, it was a valuable and rewarding learning experience
