Online Level 3 TEFL Course

Completing my TEFL course was a great experience that helped me prepare for teaching English abroad. During the course, I learned about lesson planning, classroom management, teaching grammar, and how to make lessons interesting and enjoyable for students. The course gave me a better understanding of how to teach English to students with different levels of English ability. I found the experience valuable because it helped me build my confidence and gave me useful skills that I can apply in a real classroom. It also opened up new opportunities for me to work internationally and experience different cultures. Thanks to my TEFL qualification, I am now preparing to take the next step in my journey by teaching English in Vietnam. I would recommend the course to anyone who wants to teach English abroad and explore new opportunities.

Honestly, I thought this was gonna be something that would be hard to follow and I also thought that it was gonna take a lot longer but as usual that would be getting in my own head. This was an awesome experience and I was able to complete my program within 2 1/2 weeks. I’ll definitely recommend especially because now I get the chance to travel the world.

The lessons were easy to follow, and I liked the fact that I could study at my own pace. Some parts were a bit challenging, especially the assignments, but I think they helped me understand lesson planning better. As someone who recently graduated with a degree in English Language Teaching, I found the course useful for reviewing what I had already learned and gaining some practical ideas. This was something I'd promised myself I would do for some time. I am retiring in a couple of years and want to be able to teach remotely when I do. The course was really interesting and I learnt a lot, a lot of it were things I have never learnt before. It just sometimes challenging trying to submit things. But in general the portal was user friendly and they got back to you quickly.

Daunting at first, the course became easier to follow as I went through the first two units. As I proceeded through the course material, I found that setting aside a routine, regular and consistent studying time made it easy for me to absorb information. I notice this as I was going through the unit tests with little effort than when I started. I also found the course informative and educational, exposed to the of value of communicative English and without the use of a dictionary. The course introduced me to the teaching method of eliciting as I was used to the method of lecturing.

The format of the course is user-friendly, and the assignments are scanned for AI and graded by real people, so you know receiving this certificate actually means something. I actually had to put in effort into each of the assignments, referring to the course content for reference

I chose online teaching because I have a passion for helping people learn, improve, and become more confident in themselves. I really enjoyed the overview and broad spectrum of information provided in this course. The lesson planning was a great activity to work through and the detailed feedback was very helpful in my development. Some links weren’t working on the bonus material but very grateful for the amount of information shared.

I’ve been teaching English in South Korea for 5 years yet I had no teaching certificate which always made me feel vulnerable and lacking..I was good at my job and all I needed was a documented proof to solidify my position. Completing the Level 3 Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language has been a valuable and rewarding learning experience for me.
