I would 100% recommend this program. Not only can you become fluent in a second language, you learn the type of person you are and how to live independently. The trips we took with the people in the program were some of the most fun i’ve ever had and I have gained so many different perspectives on the world. Everyone of the Staff; Pepa, Ena, Ana, and Chelo are so nice and easy to talk too.

Program: IFSA Tech Career Accelerator
During my time with IFSA in the Tech Career Accelerator program I learned a lot about the tech industry in Prague and in the EU as well as Czech culture. The team organizing the IFSA in Prague was very welcoming and the excursions were very fun. Overall I loved my time in Prague and would do it again!

Great Experience!
June 22, 2026MC Timor Timor - AustriaProvider: TLCdénia
My experience at TLCdénia was exceptional from start to finish. The teachers are highly professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about helping students improve their Spanish in a supportive and engaging environment. The classes are well-structured, interactive, and tailored to different learning needs and levels. What makes TLCdénia truly special is the welcoming atmosphere. I immediately felt part of an international community where students from all over the world can learn, make friends, and immerse themselves in Spanish culture. The school is located in the beautiful coastal town of Dénia, which provides the perfect setting to practice Spanish in everyday life. The cultural activities and excursions organized by the school were a fantastic addition to the lessons and helped me gain confidence using the language outside the classroom. Thanks to TLCdénia, I made significant progress in my Spanish and created unforgettable memories along the way. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a high-quality Spanish language course combined with an authentic cultural experience in Spain. Thank you to the entire TLCdénia team for an amazing experience!
Creative, Immersive Mandarin Learning at That’s Mandarin

Program: Intensive Chinese Group Class in 5 Cities | That's Mandarin
That's Mandarin has a very creative lesson plan that helps the students listen and discuss new vocabulary and sentence structure. With current topics and video lessons, students practice real spoken Mandarin. The school is welcoming to a wide age range. The school has cultural events that give you the opportunity to practice what you've been learning. Students at every level were dedicated but also created a fun environment.
I personally liked it

Program: GAC Career Launch: Paid Internship Program in China
As a marketing graduate from Milan, I wanted international experience before starting my career. GAC placed me with a PR agency in Shanghai's Jing'an district. From week one, I was helping manage real campaigns for international brands. My mentor taught me how Chinese social media works – completely different from Europe. The team handled my visa, found me a great apartment, and checked in regularly. Three months later, I landed a job in international marketing back home. My China experience was the main topic in every interview. Worth every euro.

Volunteer in the healthcare and rural education in the Philippines with IVI

Program: Volunteer in the Philippines with IVI - Affordable Programs
My highlight was definitely getting to know the community and getting a glimpse of what the rural lifestyle is like. People were so grateful and delighted to see volunteers, and you can feel the impact you are having on the community. My highlight was spreading knowledge of what I learned in nursing school to less-experienced volunteers. The food and accommodation were so amazing. The staff was very accommodating and the sweetest.
The Power of GIVE

Travelling with this group was a life changing experience for me and showed me that there is so much this beautiful world has to offer. The way the guides opened their hearts to strangers and welcomed us in made it really easy to get comfortable with them. They are such a close group of friends too and I really enjoyed their group dynamic. Their planning makes it really easy to go with the flow and if you just show up on time with a positive attitude then youre gonna have an absolute blast. The trip also had a really nice balance of volunteering, fun adventures, and activities that the local people led to give us an insight into the life and culture of Thailand. Really reset my mentality on how much was possible in 24 hours and showed me that I am much more capable that I thought I was. And finally, the fellow volunteers. If youre nervous then thats totally normal because so was I! What I'll say is that youll never meet a more like minded group of individuals, no matter how different we all appeared on the surface. Everyone blended together so well and it was incredible for me to see how well strangers could get along and become life long friends. It only happens if you take the leap of faith so just do it!!

Program: Au Pair in China – Cultural Exchange & Mandarin Learning
Hyper-fixation to reality in less than 3 months. I found out about au pair opportunities in China last summer while doomscrolling on TikTok at 5AM; in a moment of intense confusion all I wanted was to quit my job and leave Rome after years of not loving it anymore. Infatuation got real, and I started getting in touch with various agencies around China. Most of them were average at best in terms of communication and social media presence, but then there was Masons Au Pair... Their website and Instagram account were far more intuitive, transparent (!!!) and aesthetically pleasing than any of their competitors', a massive green flag from the get-go. I then contacted them and they got back to me in no time, promptly scheduling an interview that also included a personality test. Their recruitment process is rather thorough and they really want to make sure they create the best possible match for both their au pairs and their partner host families. Rematches are very much possible and happening, so worry not! I was lucky enough to find a host family relatively quickly and we agreed to collaborate shortly after. The agency then took care of my flights, booking them upfront (another positive aspect that sets them apart from other providers) and helped me out with all the documentation needed for the X2 Visa. Less than three months later, I was landing in Chengdu, ready to meet Jason and Nadya and start my two-day orientation and training period. Hotel accommodation, local meals and experiences were also provided and very much appreciated. The first impression was honestly impeccable and I felt like I was in good hands. On day three I was introduced to my host family and instantly adored my two little host brothers. I spent 7 eventful months with them (a 6-month contract, and a 1-month extension) and they really made sure I had everything throughout my program. I was fortunate enough to travel around China quite a bit, having visited major cities like Chongqing, Xi'an, Wuhan, Changsha, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Zhuhai and Sanya. I spent two beautiful weeks on the coast of Hainan with my host family, celebrating Christmas and New Years under the coconut trees for the first time in my life. During my time spent with the host family I jumped head-first into Chinese culture, cuisine, and mannerisms. I always tell people that this experience has been one of the greatest "social experiments" of my life, having witnessed all sorts of family dynamics over those 7 months. This being said, it hasn't always been fun 'n games, so I'd definitely encourage future au pairs to expect miscommunication at times, cultural differences on a daily basis and very long, demanding hours on the weekends and whenever the kids don't attend school. Thankfully, I have made lifelong friends that quickly became my support network when in need. Masons Au Pair exclusively operates in Chengdu, which guarantees connection with everyone in the same boat with you (the other au pairs) and proximity to the agency if any issues arise. Big shoutout and thank you to Jason and Nadya for everything they've done for me throughout my stay. Thanks for bearing with me and listening to my rants every now and then. Forever going to remember and cherish this side quest. P.S. Do not despair if you're a guy in your late 20s!!! It is entirely possible for you to become an au pair. A lot of families would rather work with someone that has already had some life experience and bro pairs (male au pairs) are totally a thing, contrary to popular belief.
