Choosing Silk Mandarin Suzhou was honestly one of the best decisions for my Chinese learning journey. The teaching style is very different from traditional language classes, especially the Slow Motion Technique and the way lessons are structured to make speaking feel much more manageable and natural. What surprised me most was how quickly I became more comfortable using Chinese in everyday situations. My teacher, Sisi, has been absolutely wonderful — patient, encouraging, and very skilled at explaining things clearly. The classes are engaging, supportive, and genuinely enjoyable, and the school activities also make the whole experience feel welcoming and motivating. I would highly recommend Silk Mandarin Suzhou to anyone serious about improving their Chinese in a practical and enjoyable way.

I can’t say enough good things about Silk Mandarin. The teachers are incredibly helpful, always taking the time to make sure you truly understand the material. They’re also so encouraging — even when I made mistakes, I felt supported and motivated to keep going. The range of materials and resources provided is impressive, and everything is well-organized for effective learning. I especially loved the physical classes in Suzhou — the in-person experience was engaging and immersive. At the same time, the virtual classes are just as enjoyable and interactive, which makes balancing a busy schedule much easier. Before I started learning Chinese, I was quite intimidated by the language and worried whether I’d be able to manage it. Thanks to my teacher Jane, those worries quickly vanished. The lessons never felt like a chore; instead, they were a lot of fun. Jane is very patient, but also laid-back and very flexible, so we were able to have online lessons when it wasn’t possible at the institute. The videos and materials on Classin are also well-structured, interesting, and helpful. I’m already looking forward to my next course, because I feel well taken care of here.🥰
