Healthcare Volunteer Program We work with primary and secondary health facilities including CHPS Compounds, Health Centres, District and Regional Hospitals with support from the Ghana Health Service to provide healthcare to underserved communities. One of the best experiences of my life. Truly like being at home away from home. During my time with Future for Africa, I had the opportunity to contribute directly to their healthcare project, which made the experience even more meaningful and impactful. From supporting community health initiatives to engaging with local families, every moment felt purposeful and deeply rewarding. What stands out most is that your role is only limited by your imagination, there’s so much space to contribute, learn, and grow. The entire Future for Africa team is incredibly attentive, always ensuring that everything runs smoothly and that you feel supported and comfortable. The country itself is beautiful, and the people are warm, welcoming, and kind. I always felt safe and at ease. Having been there twice already, I can confidently say I’ll be back again.
