Online Level 5 TEFL Course

Enrolling in the Online Level 5 TEFL Course with The TEFL Academy was a genuinely rewarding experience for me as an English teacher with an academic background but limited international ESL exposure. The course content is well-structured, clear, and highly practical, especially the modules on lesson planning, classroom management, grammar awareness, and teaching different learner levels. What I appreciated most was how theory was consistently linked to real classroom situations, which helped me build confidence as a future ESL teacher. The assignments were challenging yet fair, pushing me to think like a professional teacher rather than just a student. Tutor feedback was supportive and constructive, making the learning process even more effective. Overall, this course has strengthened my teaching skills, enhanced my CV, and prepared me well for global ESL opportunities.

For some time I have been wanting to do TEFL training as I have interest in teaching. I looked at other training institutions and TTA came out as the best option for me. The presentation of their course was clear and detailed. The support they provide during the training and links to job opportunities once training is completed matched what I needed from a training institute.

I really enjoyed my online course I thought it was great and I loved that I was able to do it at my own pace. I would have preferred some more focus on examples and strategies to connect with students. While there were definitely examples I reckon this could have had its own unit or 2 dedicated to it.
