AIP made my summer internship in South Korea fun and supportive! I was able to safely explore Korea while knowing if I ever needed anything they'd be one text away for help. They were so eager to get know us and allowed me to feel comfortable while doing something outside my comfort zone. I learned so much and I'm so grateful to have had this experience with AIP.

Regarding the online call about finding employment in TEFL, Pretty much perfect, answers were answered to all questions and in detail going above and beyond. if I had to critique, I'd argue the section on how to find the job (e.g. linkedin) was a tad rushed, but still provided highly useful information (Only commented because it's useless if I only say it was good!). Emos was very professional with his explanations and with guidance for how to navigate the online and physical market.

Before taking classes at Nihao Cafe, I tried online platforms for chinese however I could not find a school that was a good fit for me. I have been taking one class a week for a little over 3 months and so far they are best option for learning chinese online. I really like the way classes are structured and that I have the option to go back to review material from past classes. The teachers at Nihao cafe are very professional and encouraging. I’m really happy with my experience so far and would definitely recommend Nihao Cafe to anyone looking to learn Chinese online.

Berlin is an amazing city. The Base, where we lived, was very comfortable. Beyond was great at having activities and initiating meet ups with the other interns. I loved the atmosphere of Berlin. I felt that it had a very gritty, artistic vibe to it which I really enjoyed.

My trip to Nicaragua with Give volunteers that I took in June 2026 was a wonderful and life changing experience. All four of our guides were so great and they truly cared about making a genuine connection with me and the other volunteers. We all had so much fun together because the itinerary was never bland and neither were the people I met. One minute we would be helping the local people and environment of Jiquilillo and the next we’d be surfing the waves of the pacific. I made connections with so many locals that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Everyone in this community welcomed us with open arms and endless kindness, they showed it through the food they fed us, stories they told, and the bracelets they made for us. If you are looking for a fulfilling travel experience where you’ll meet all sorts of new friends, I recommend taking the leap and join give volunteers in Nicaragua.

I am extremely grateful to The TEFL Academy for the opportunity to complete my TEFL course. The whole experience was very positive and rewarding, and I learned so much throughout the course. The materials were clear and useful, and the course helped me develop my teaching knowledge and gain more confidence as an English teacher. I really appreciate the support and guidance provided throughout the process. Thank you to The TEFL Academy for being part of my professional journey. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to develop their teaching skills and pursue a career in English language teaching.

I had such a wonderful experience working at Teeling Whiskey Distillery in Dublin. The staff were all so genuinely nice and made me feel right at home. Rotating through the cafe, reception, and the back bar allowed me to understand all the different phases of a working distillery, and meeting the bosses was a great addition to the program. Dublin attracts so much tourism, I really enjoyed meeting so many different people from all over the world at my work. It felt like a true mix of diversity, which allowed me to learn so many unique things from everyone I encountered. I was also incredibly glad to use my Mandarin skills to help out. On my days off, I had the best time exploring Dublin, traveling around Ireland, and adventuring into other European countries. It was a beautiful journey both professionally and personally!

After finishing school in Denmark, I wanted something meaningful before university. GAC's gap year program in Beijing was perfect. I interned at a consulting firm in the mornings and studied Mandarin at BLCU in the afternoons. The team arranged everything – my internship, classes, shared apartment, and even weekend trips to the Great Wall and Xi'an. I came back with real work experience, improved Chinese, and a clear direction for my future. Best decision I ever made. If I get to do it again, I will certainly go with GAC's program.

My trip to the US was truly unforgettable! I enjoyed thrilling parks,explored fascinating museums,and experienced the vibrant culture and warm hospitality. Every moment was filled with adventure,learning and fun! Its a journey i highly recommend to everyone,you'll create memories that lasts a life time and gain a new perspective on life.. I got to meet so many amazing people while getting to explore a new city, all while building my resume at an amazing internship company that will leave a lasting impact on me. The community coordinators are the nicest people ever and make sure that you feel like you belong in the city, no matter where you are from :)
