Beyond Academy were absolutely brilliant from start to finish, every step is well thought out with sufficient support throughout not only from the programme leaders in the city taking us to events, shows, dinners, and hotspots, but also from those behind the scenes making the internship happen in the first place!

My experience in Thailand has been so fun! I got to see a lot of the major temples and sites that are a must visit. I made many friends with the other interns here. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. They helped me with any questions I had or anything in general. Overall my experience was amazing, 10/10 would recommend to anyone on the fence about it! I would even come back if I could!

I got to meet so many amazing people while getting to explore a new city, all while building my resume at an amazing internship company that will leave a lasting impact on me. The community coordinators are the nicest people ever and make sure that you feel like you belong in the city, no matter where you are from :)

My time with beyond academy was amazing. I went to NYC for 6 weeks and honestly it was an adventure I will never forget. The community team was so helpful and the activities they planned were super fun. 100% worth it if you’re thinking of an internship abroad.

Beyond Academy gives college students the opportunity to have an unforgettable experience in a new place as well as concrete work experience both for a more complete resume and sharper skills to apply in your career. I met some amazing people and developed a great relationship with my host company. As a youth leader passionate about Quality Education (SDG 4), I have actively worked to create inclusive learning opportunities in my community. I organize community study groups and skill-building workshops, especially for girls and marginalized youth, to bridge educational gaps. By collaborating with local schools and NGOs, we provide mentorship and access to learning materials, fostering a supportive environment that empowers young people to reach their potential. Moving forward, I plan to launch digital literacy programs to equip youths with critical skills for the future workforce, ensuring no one is left behind in our fast-changing world. Through these efforts, I aim to inspire sustainable growth by nurturing informed, confident young leaders who will drive positive change in Kano and beyond.

I found Beyond Academy to be a super helpful experience for both my social life and career. Through my internship, I have a better idea of what I want to do and decided on the industry I’d pursue. Additionally, I met many great, unique people that taught me a lot about ambition and work-life balance. However, the program was sloppy and unorganized at times. In the beginning, I was urged to pay a lot of money before I met with the instructor, which I didn’t feel comfortable with. While I got lucky with my internship, my friends got internships where they didn’t really do anything all day, and one of them had to go to an apartment for her office. I think putting in more effort to screen companies as well as trying to get better internships would go a long way. Despite the shortcomings, I want to stress that the program was a great learning opportunity, and I feel more ambitious and self-sufficient as a result.

I love Beyond Academy!! I don't think I've ever met anyone from their team that I didn't absolutely adore. Everyone was super accommodating and hands-on from the very beginning and when I got to NYC - omg I had the best time ever. Michelle, my coordinator, became my tour guide, confidant, and motivator at the same time. She definitely made the experience so memorable for me by taking into account my interests and just by being the best person to ever exist. Olivia also went above and beyond (no pun intended) to make sure that I was taken care of. Summer, Ozair, and Ana made sure I was able to file and process everything before I left home. Everyone's just amazing, the city is beautiful, I learned so much from my internship, and I obviously definitely recommend their program!!

I have always wanted to work abroad. I am a professional graphic designer from Zambia I have never gone abroad but I have worked on some international projects, designing various art works for different companies.

I did the EA level 1 and 2 program in NZ last year and it was amazing. The EA crew did everything they could to make sure our time in NZ will be the best they possibly could, the accommodation was really good, they made a lot of efforts to make us feel welcome and have fun and we had a lot of activities outside of training. Training wise, the course was amazing, we had small groups with the best instructors the mountain had to offer, and the program his built to make sure you'll pass your exam, it focuses on the riding skills and also the teaching and analyzing skills you need to pass the exams. I highly recommend to everyone that wants to pass the instructor exams or just have fun and get better in snowboarding on taking the EA program

During the placement process, The Intern Group only had one mechanical engineering option to offer me at a company based in Colombia and had to switch to a fully remote position. The situation was unfortunate because of the time zone differences and the workload was very independent. This wasn’t the internship I hoped for but it definitely challenged me professionally. The people that arrived the same time as I did + the accommodation made the whole experience worthwhile. Our experience coordinator, Erika, was very welcoming and helpful with everything we needed. We would have weekly meet ups to socialize and do fun activities together. The accommodation is full of other friendly students/travelers and I felt very safe, it’s comparable to a single dorm room.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in NYC. The Beyond Academy team was incredibly attentive and always available to assist with anything I needed. The people of New York are incredibly friendly and accommodating, and I had some of the most delicious pizza and sandwiches I've ever tasted. Some of my favorite experiences included visiting the The Met and walking across the Brooklyn Bridge. However, I also had a great time on the less touristy adventures where we explored off-the-beaten-path comedy shows and local food hotspots. This was my first Christmas abroad, never mind alone, but it was one of the most memorable Christmas' of my life. The build up in NYC for Christmas is different to anything I've ever experienced. We visited Christmassy streets, watched The Rockette's and visited an ice-skating rink. While I'm sad to leave, I feel grateful for the memories I've made and know that should I ever return, I'll feel like I'm coming home.

I have always wanted to visit and experience life in New York and Beyond Academy has more than helped me achieve that. In addition to the quality job experience I received, there was always something to do, a place to eat, a landmark to visit and I enjoyed every event my coordinators brought me to. There was never a dull moment and I found myself being more confident with exploring the city thanks to their events and recommendations. My coordinators were extremely helpful and accommodating with every issue I had which overall made my experience with both New York and Beyond Academy a very valuable one.

This program was such a wonderful experience. I stayed in Madrid as one of their first digital nomads where I had the option to work from home while staying in Madrid. I worked with a Madrid marketing agency and sometimes would meet up with my boss to work together or grab coffee. This program was so flexible and fun I was able to travel all around Spain and Europe while adding a perfect internship to my resume. I made some of the best friends I’ve ever had and are still traveling/in contact with them today! The program directors are very involved and make sure you feel welcome in the destination of your choice. They also provide nights out with the other interns of that cohort while introducing new ones each month. I highly recommend this program to anyone wanting to be a world traveler without it impacting their career trajectories in a negative way. Thank you @theinterngroup!

My IGS mentor encouraged my on-the-ground participation on more complex tasks like events planning. We coordinated for a staff party and I was so amazed how I could be so creative and efficient! My fellow interns are so imaginative and resourceful too. Aside from their staff party, we were also involved in their staff seminars and meetings; and it made us feel a sense of belongingness. I feel like I am a part of the family. Thank you to the kind hotel staff, superiors, and of course, too IGS!

I needed another internship for my college resume and I am glad to have read about IGS at such a perfect time. This internship was one of a kind, I could say. For the job, we carried out Marketing duties for the resort. It was fascinating that they shared us effective marketing strategies and techniques. And for the networking, my co-interns are wonderful. They came from different parts of the world and we were happy to share our cultures while we explore our host country. Love the expi!
