Traditional teaching in Uganda is rote learning and memorization. We aim to encourage teamwork, fun, creativity, literacy, and general knowledge in primary schools. Organic farming: Volunteers work alongside women and community members to maintain gardens. Depending on the season, volunteers prepare the soil, plant seeds, spread mulch, weed, harvest, and chase birds and other pests. Learn from Ugandan farmers, and share your ideas as well. Working with Children and Youth in Morocco

Volunteers work with Moroccan youth, teaching and assisting them to learn crucial life skills that are often taken for granted. For example, they may give basic language lessons, help with computer skills and mathematics, and organize education and recreational activities such as music, theater, arts and crafts, and outdoor games. Volunteers supply critical support to teachers, who are often greatly under-resourced. The host school doesn't have enough staff, making extra pairs of hands and knowledge greatly appreciated. On the other hand, students benefit from the support and attention they receive from international participants. Although some experience working with children is preferred, a responsible, enthusiastic, and compassionate attitude goes a long way. Working with children in Morocco can be challenging, but a basic understanding of French or Arabic will make this placement a rewarding experience for all involved.

Life-Changing Experience

December 21, 2025by: Eliano Ficca - ItalyProgram: Volunteer with Palestinian Refugees
10

this experience in Palestine was not just a trip, a "volunteering experience" to add to a resume. It was real, human, and deeply transformative. I don't return home with the feeling of "having helped", but with somnething much deeper. A new prospective, genuine human connections, and the awareness that even a small gesture, when truly lived, can leave something good behind. This is not an experience you simply go through. It goes through you. And it stays.
