London was the most unrealistic experience for me! The work-life balance culture, dressing, food, lifestyle, people everything seemed like a fantasy. These 2 months are something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Never did I think I would get to meet such great people, eat all this food, and party as I've never done before! The experience coordinators were the absolute best. They ensured we had a great time, did not make us feel like we were away from home, and most importantly, they were our friends! We talked, ate, and went out together like we've known each other since forever. Honestly, I wasn't sure about this entire experience, but once I got here, oh boy, I would give my heart and soul for this to just be my reality. My opinion, be unsure, dream unrealistically, spend that money, overthink it, but take that step and go for it, because what's the worst that could happen?

My internship with The Intern Group was a very valuable experience for me, both personally and professionally. As this was my first experience working in the industry, I wasn’t completely sure what to expect, but I was able to adapt to the working environment much more easily than I thought. One of the most valuable parts of this experience was that it made me think more seriously about the career path I would like to follow in the future. There are so many different areas and opportunities within computer science and technology, and having the chance to gain real work experience helped me better understand what kind of work I enjoy, what I am good at, and what might suit me best in the future. I also had the opportunity to meet new people, experience a different working environment, and learn many things outside of my university studies. I am especially grateful to my workplace mentors, who were incredibly patient, supportive, and welcoming throughout my internship. They always took the time to help me whenever I had questions or was unsure about something. Everything was explained to me in great detail, and I was guided through unfamiliar tasks in a way that helped me genuinely understand what I was doing. Having such supportive mentors made it much easier for me to learn, build my confidence, and feel comfortable in my first professional working environment. I also really appreciated all the events and activities organised by The Intern Group. I genuinely enjoyed every event I attended, and they made the whole experience even more memorable and enjoyable. They were also a great opportunity to meet and spend time with people from different backgrounds and make new connections. I am very thankful to The Intern Group team for organising them and for always being so supportive throughout my time here. Overall, I am very grateful for this experience and for everyone who contributed to it. I feel like I am leaving with a clearer idea of my future career, new experiences, new connections, and great memories. Thank you to everyone who made this experience so positive!

Alex, Peach and team were super professional and helpful all through the process. I was very impressed with their attentiveness and professionalism. I was placed with a great company in a timely manner. I had a wonderful experience with my internship. I have prior work experience and I still learned so much from this. It was also wonderful getting to see London and learn all about the city.

Programme staff were great, good work experience. Social events were fun and well organised, easy to contact programme staff. Internship experience was valuable and interesting, great if you hope to find a job.

I truly had the best time during my internship abroad with The Intern Group. I had the most fulfilling work experience, met some of my closest friends, and really enjoyed every moment. This summer was amazing! I met so many incredible new people from all over, and have explored new and exciting places. Everyone has been super helpful in this experience, and I can’t imagine a better way to spend the summer!

London is an incredible city with a rich history, diverse culture, and endless opportunities. I enjoyed exploring its museums, theatres, parks, and vibrant neighbourhoods. The public transport is convenient, and there is always something new to discover. Although the cost of living is very high, the experience of living and working here has been unforgettable. My internship gave me valuable insight into the UK healthcare system and helped me improve my communication skills. I hope I will have the opportunity to return and work in London with a work visa in the future.

Although my time in London was brief, I met incredible people who turned what could have been a lonely trip into something truly special. I left wishing I could stay longer and already planning to return. It is an experience I will treasure for a long time to come.

My intern abroad experience in London was absolutely incredible. I grew so much, both professionally and personally. Professionally, I learned so much about financial technology and its sub sectors. Personally, I become a more outgoing, social person. Alex was my primary Intern Group leader and he was absolutely fantastic.

The experience I got from my time at work was incredible. I learnt so many new skills in my industry and felt as if the work I was doing meaningfully contributed to the company. But beyond work I felt living alone in London let me grow as a person. I had so many unforgettable experiences that wouldn't have been possible without The Intern Group. I have made friends for life!

The internship is a good way to meet and network with people. You not only gain social skills, but also develop skills in your designated profession or field. As a bonus, you also get to experience a new city and it’s culture.

I had an amazing time in London. The programme was fantastic, giving me the opportunity to make lots of new friends while exploring the city. One of the best parts was how international the group was, it made the experience even more enriching and enjoyable. I had the incredible opportunity to intern in Film & TV production in London. During my internship, I assisted the production company with administrative tasks and supported the overall post-production process of a feature film that they are planning to release soon. It was amazing to be surrounded by such a welcoming and talented team, and they taught me so much about what goes into making a film and how it is successfully marketed and sold within the industry. Overall, the internship programme was a fantastic experience. The intern group also organised great social events, including a theatre visit that I absolutely enjoyed. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, and I made some great friends along the way. This experience has given me valuable insight into the Film & TV industry and has further strengthened my passion for working in production.

Loved my experience here! Everything exceeded my expectations! I will be coming back to get my masters degree and hopefully live in London for good!! The people I met are amazing and I can’t wait for more things to come!

I had a great time in London with the intern group! I learned a lot about myself and my work ethic, and my likes and dislikes. I loved to experience traveling and seeing Europe in for the first time! Overall it was a great experience!

My six-month marketing internship with Interngroup was a great experience. I had the opportunity to further develop my creative skills, while working on a variety of marketing-related tasks. The Interngroup team were supportive and organised, which made it easy to settle in and get the most out of the programme. The intern events were a great part of the programme. It was an enjoyable way to connect with others and experience the city outside of work. Overall it was a delightful and valuable experience.

I had a great time abroad! I enjoyed my internship placement, it was exactly in the career field I plan on going into. I also really enjoyed everything about living in London. Alex and Peach have been the best! They have been so helpful in answering questions and helping us along the way, and have facilitated great meet-ups. The process of coming to London was quite difficult and caused a fair amount of stress. While this wasn’t entirely the Intern Group’s fault, I do wish I had been given more time for the visa application and sponsorship process. By the time I received my sponsorship number after being connected with the visa company, it was already very close to the latest possible appointment I could get for my work visa. Having even an extra month for this process would make a significant difference and help reduce a lot of the stress involved. I absolutely love London and have been very happy with my overall experience here. My main concerns were that the accommodation was not exactly as it had been described during the acceptance stage, and that my internship workload was heavier than I expected for an unpaid role. The position felt closer to what would normally be considered a paid internship. However, I understand that this was the first time my placement organisation had worked with the Intern Group, so I recognise that this may have contributed to the situation. One of the highlights of this experience has been the support from Peach and Alex. They have both been incredible throughout the program. Alex is extremely friendly and approachable, and Peach is very knowledgeable and informative. Together they make a fantastic team. They have done a wonderful job making everyone feel welcome, and every question I’ve had since arriving in London has been answered quickly and thoughtfully. I feel very lucky to have had them as my advisors during this experience. Overall, my experience has been truly great, and I’m very sad to be leaving. Although there were definitely stressful moments before arriving and at times during the internship, I would not trade this experience for anything. It has been incredibly valuable both personally and professionally.

I had a great time in this program. Not only was my placement for my internship amazing, but the support from the team was also great. All the provided experiences and opportunities granted to us made this time abroad wonderful.
