I really enjoyed the course at The TEFL Academy; I found it comprehensive, engaging and well-structured. As a non-native speaker, although I already have some teaching experience, I found that the course covers the most important aspects of teaching, going beyond the technical aspects of language.

I can’t speak highly enough of this course! Staff were kind, the units were layered nicely so that I always felt in control of what was being taught and there was so much video footage of real classroom interaction. It’s an incredibly thought provoking course.

I finished the 120 hours TEFL course and paid only 20 quid. That included everything, which is daft cheap! Everything worked and everything was intuitive. I didn't need to email them about anything so not a clue about their email response time.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my TEFL course with TTA and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well structured and comprehensive programme. What I particularly appreciate is the balance the course strikes. It covers everything you genuinely need to know without overwhelming you with irrelevant information. The level of difficulty is just right too. It is challenging enough that you have to stay engaged and actually put in the work, but not so demanding that you feel you need to quit your job to keep up with it! Another thing that really stands out is how well the course is presented. The content is clear, organised and easy to follow, which makes learning a lot more enjoyable and manageable. And I must especially commend TTA for having such a great job support system in place. Knowing that there is genuine support beyond simply completing the course adds tremendous value and makes the whole experience feel much more worthwhile. Thank you, TTA, for putting together such a thoughtful, practical and well presented course!

I was looking for a career change, and teaching seemed impossible until I found TEFL Academy. Being online meant I could complete the program at my own pace, and, since the website is so well designed, it was easier to navigate than I imagined. I definitely recommend for adult learners who are able to keep themselves on track.

The (TEFL) TTA course is extremely user-friendly and easy to follow, with clear instructions throughout. The content is relavant, informative and presented in a professional manner. Assignments are challenging yet meaningful and practical. Helpful videos and practical contact lessons make the learning experience even more engaging and enjoyable! The tutors are professional, friendly and supportive. I especially appreciated the high quality and excellent standards maintained throughout the course with enough information and guidance to help you feel confident and well prepared for teaching English as a foreign language. Coming from a country where English is spoken as a second language, yet where English is widely used as the primary language of business, I initially expected this programme to be relatively “easy.” However, once I started, I quickly realised that it was far more challenging than I had anticipated. Although challenging, I truly appreciated the rigour of the programme. It reinforced for me that if we aspire to teach English, we should first have a deep respect for the language and take pride in mastering it. The level of teaching and the expectations of the programme are what ultimately maintain its quality and credibility. As I progressed, the programme became increasingly manageable, particularly with the quizzes and assessments, which kept me engaged and motivated throughout the learning journey. Each component challenged me to apply what I had learned rather than simply acquire knowledge. Completing this programme has been a meaningful achievement and a valuable addition to my professional resume. As I prepare to enter the next chapter of my life — corporate retirement — I am grateful that I chose to undertake this journey. It has not only strengthened my confidence in the English language, but also reminded me that learning should never stop, regardless of where we are in our careers or lives. I am genuinely glad I did this programme, and I will carry what I have learned into the next chapter of my life.

I am a veteran teacher of 32 years and I still learned a lot about teaching English to foreign students! The TEFL course was well organized, fun and interesting. The teachers used humor and explained the concepts well.

As a qualified and experienced teacher and VET trainer in other areas, I've always wanted to achieve the CELTA qualification. Completing the Graduate Diploma in TESOL provided me with a solid theoretical background but the CELTA has really prepared me in a practical way for teaching English as an additional language. The training provided by MTI met and exceeded my expectations. F2F, blended and fully online options provide ultimate flexibility. Expectations of trainees are rigorous and exacting, but the program is designed such that the action learning approach maximizes trainee's potential for professional growth. An experienced tutor provides expert and engaging input sessions while small group tutors provide guidance, support and feedback across a total of 8 teaching practice sessions. If you want to make a smart investment in yourself, I can highly recommend this qualification and MTI as an authorized center.

I just completed the part-time online CELTA course with MTI. First, I loved the online option and found it to be just as rigorous as promised. In fact, I would recommend the online option to future students not just for the flexibility it provides, but also because it gave us the additional benefit of picking up online teaching skills and techniques, sure to be useful in our future teaching. Second, my tutors Barbara, Jo, and Marcela were all wonderful: they were precise in their delivery and exacting in their assessments and feedback. At the same time, they cared deeply about our learning progress and our success, offering constant encouragement even when the assignments and teaching practice felt a bit overwhelming. Their empathetic and thoughtful demeanor went a long way in motivating me to exert the effort needed to complete the coursework and try to meet their expectations. Third, CELTA is not an easy journey, but the MTI provided us with all the support necessary (references, example assignments, observation videos, very helpful handouts and links) for us to get to the finish line. I highly recommend the CELTA with MTI. Congrats to my fellow CELTA graduates, and good luck to new students just starting the course!

The CELTA course was an incredible experience. What stood out most was how interactive everything was - you're constantly engaged, learning by doing rather than just listening. I highly recommend MTI for anyone considering completing a CELTA course. MTI was always supportive and professional throughout the entire process, from pre-course preparation to after the course. Jo’s input sessions were particularly valuable because. The sessions were well-structured, clear, and highly relevant to real teaching contexts. I appreciated how the sessions modelled effective teaching strategies rather than simply explaining them. I used SO MANy in my TP. Carlos and Barbara were incredibly dedicated throughout the course. Their feedback was detailed, constructive, and always focused on helping trainees improve in achievable ways. Even during the most intensive parts of the course, they remained approachable, always replied quickly and were highly encouraging, and genuinely invested in everyone’s progress. It was clear that a huge amount of time and care went into both lesson feedback and individual support. MTI also provided a strong range of resources, examples, and guidance, which made lesson planning and reflection far more manageable during such an intensive course. The materials are useful beyond the CELTA itself and will continue to support my teaching practice now. What I appreciated most overall was that the course maintained high standards while still creating a supportive learning environment. The trainers pushed us to develop professionally but also recognised the pressures of the course and provided appropriate guidance throughout. I left the course feeling not only more confident, but with a much clearer understanding of teaching practice, lesson staging, classroom management, and reflective teaching.

I was very fortunate to choose to complete a CELTA course at MTI! It was a transformative experience that helped me to learn English teaching to different levels of students. The trainers, Maria, Barbara and Jo were very friendly, helpful and encouraging. Through their valuable and pragmatic feedback, I was able to improve my teaching lesson by lesson. In the course, I learnt tons of knowledge about teaching techniques, lesson planning, classroom management, language grading and so on without getting overwhelmed.
