I live in Mexico and wanted to start a business on my own to train Mexicans in English. As I have a Bachelor's degree in Spanish, I also teach English-speaking ex-pats Spanish. I was very successful in obtaining clients almost immediately. I enjoy teaching the students, and I earn an excellent side income from the business, which supplements my social security as I am 77-years old and partially retired. Many of the students and their family members have become personal friends. This has helped to give me a sense of community and a purpose in life.
