Great experience with Africa tours Marrakech
August 23, 2026Hassan’s Mezane - United StatesI had an absolutely amazing experience with Africa Tours Marrakech on our 3-day desert tour! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, and the whole journey was truly unforgettable. The landscapes, the Atlas Mountains, Ait Ben Haddou, the Dades Valley, and especially the Sahara Desert were incredible. The camel ride at sunset and spending the night in the desert were definitely highlights of the trip. A huge thank you to the whole team for their professionalism, hospitality, and kindness. Everything was comfortable and well arranged, and we always felt taken care of. This was much more than just a tour—it was a beautiful experience and a wonderful way to discover Morocco. I highly recommend Africa Tours Marrakech to anyone looking for an authentic, well-organized, and unforgettable Moroccan desert adventure. Thank you for the amazing memories

Two of my daughters went to the 2026 Osaka World Class program. They absolutely loved it! From exploring Japanese temples, to visiting historical sites, learning Japanese language and cuisine, to shopping, they enjoyed every day to the fullest.
I fell in love with the country!

I had the absolute best time while in Italy! I met so many nice people, ate the most amazing food, and traveled to nearby cities. My program coordinated many great field trips for our group to go on, including a castle, a cheese factory, and the Ferrari factory. I felt safe exploring and sightseeing, and loved being a part of the Italian culture! Such an incredible experience I will never forget! I am so glad I studied abroad in Reggio Emilia, Italy!

Amazing experience at LTL Kunming school
August 22, 2026Antoni Jerzmanowski - PolandProvider: LTL Language School
From July 13th to August 8th, I attended an LTL Mandarin language course as part of their full-immersion program in Kunming, China. During my stay, I lived with a wonderful host family where I had my own private room. My host family provided me with breakfast and dinner every day. Furthermore, they often took me out to local restaurants, which allowed me to discover many authentic Yunnan dishes and delicious spices. I took the standard 1-on-1 individual course (4 hours a day, 5 days a week). Commuting to school was very convenient: the nearest metro station was located just 1 km from my homestay—an easy, walkable distance—and the metro ride itself took only around 15 to 20 minutes. Classes took place in a modern business center where LTL rents classrooms. Every room was equipped with air conditioning or a fan, making the study environment very comfortable. My lessons usually ran from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, but I really appreciated the flexibility to adjust the schedule according to my preferences, which is ideal for anyone who prefers starting later in the day. For instance, a fellow student had her classes scheduled in the afternoon from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm. On some days, lessons even took place in other locations, such as quiet and cozy local cafés. From a psychological and learning perspective, this change of scenery was a huge advantage, as switching up the environment helped me stay focused and retain new vocabulary much better. Speaking of the classes, I was extremely satisfied with the teaching quality. I was able to learn a tremendous amount thanks to my teacher, Yumi. She was always well prepared, professional, and created a warm, encouraging atmosphere. Yumi practiced Chinese characters, speaking, and reading comprehension with me. She also shared valuable cultural context for various topics, which helped me understand the language on a much deeper level. Outside the classroom, LTL organized fantastic extracurricular activities for students. Savannah, the head of the Kunming branch, arranged diverse events such as authentic Kung Fu training, a trip to the famous Flower Market, cinema outings, and traditional bracelet making. I truly appreciated the friendly and welcoming vibe; Savannah treated all of us like friends rather than just students, making everyone feel relaxed and at home. Additionally, whenever new students arrived in Kunming, the staff hosted a welcome lunch so everyone could easily connect with the newcomers. Kunming is an underrated, truly remarkable city for studying Chinese. Unlike megacities like Beijing or Shanghai where many people speak basic English, very few locals in Kunming speak English. This makes it the ultimate environment for a full-immersion program. The locals are warm, easygoing, and thrilled when they hear a foreigner speaking Chinese. They often strike up small talk, which helps immensely with building real-world fluency. For example, I got along great with the Kung Fu master whom I met during one of the after-class activities. Overall, I am thoroughly satisfied with my experience at LTL Kunming. I learned a huge amount of new things, boosted my language skills, and met amazing people. If you are looking for high-quality language teaching, dedicated staff, and an unforgettable adventure in China, I wholeheartedly recommend LTL in Kunming!

An upgrade !!
August 22, 2026Emma Hayi - MoroccoProvider: The TEFL Academy
Program: Online Level 3 TEFL Course
I’ve been teaching English in South Korea for 5 years yet I had no teaching certificate which always made me feel vulnerable and lacking..I was good at my job and all I needed was a documented proof to solidify my position. I searched online and found that The Tefl Academy was popular and strongly recommended by many teachers so I started right away. The course deepened my understanding in many aspects ( teaching methods, lessons planning and even classroom management) . The learning process is very clear and the Support system was responsive and efficient. Choosing the TTA was one of the best decisions i have made so far. THANK YOU !
Dental Volunteering in Cusco

My experience in Cusco was such an amazing time. The people and atmosphere were amazing. Only after a short while this place and these people became a second home and family. The dental program was a great experience especially for a pre-dental student, you learn so much and meet so many great doctors, great for people who are ready for hands-on experience, learning, and giving a helping hand. I have already planned my return and can't wait to explore more of the programs that Maximo has to offer!
Brazil, What Nobody Tells You About Volunteering in Brazil
August 22, 2026Tanner Fialdini - United StatesVolunteering in Brazil ranks among the most eye-opening experiences of my life. As an American, spending time there showed me a completely different way of living. The children I worked with had very little compared to what we're used to, yet they were some of the most joyful, welcoming people I've encountered, sprinting out to play soccer and pulling me into their world despite the language barrier between us. That same warmth met me everywhere I turned. Brazilians who spoke almost no English still made me feel like one of their own. From the hostel staff to my coordinator Vivian, whose energy and warmth made her easy to talk to from day one, to my fellow IVHQ volunteers, an international crew I genuinely loved being around and still stay close with today, the sense of belonging never let up. Spending three weeks actually living within a different culture, rather than just passing through it, gave me a new perspective on how vast the world truly is, and how much of what I considered "normal" is really just an American mindset. Success isn't only measured in money, careers, and jobs, the way it often is back home. I watched people define a good life in entirely different terms, and thrive doing it. Beyond the volunteer work itself, I also got to experience Brazil as a country: Christ the Redeemer, its beaches, the favelas, and food unlike anything I'd had before. Exploring the favelas came with its own eye-opening moment. At one point I ended up somewhere I shouldn't have been and found myself surrounded by armed men who weren't police, which was one of the most nerve-racking moments of the entire trip and one where staying calm mattered a lot. It was a stark reminder that real immersion also means staying aware of your surroundings. Even so, it was the mix of giving back to a community and fully experiencing a new place, harder moments included, that made the trip what it was. If I could give one piece of advice to anyone doing this program, it would be to go in with an open mind and stay grounded in who you are. Arriving in Brazil was eye-opening in ways I didn't expect, from the buildings to the visible poverty, it forces you to see a version of the world you don't encounter at home. Don't let the language barrier scare you off either. I remember stepping off the plane and realizing almost no one around me spoke English, and I didn't speak a word of Portuguese. It was intimidating at first, but it stops being a barrier once you let yourself lean into it. The pace of life there is different too, and in a good way. It's slower, more grounded, more cultured. There isn't that constant rush to get to the next thing that I feel so often living in America, and honestly, that shift was one of the best parts of the experience. The culture is incredibly welcoming overall, but I'd still tell people to stay aware, especially in the favelas or any unfamiliar area. Most people you meet will be genuinely kind, but not everyone has good intentions, so pay attention to where you are and who's around you. Go in open-minded and respectful, but don't let that openness turn into carelessness. Volunteering abroad is something I'd recommend to anyone, and something I'd do again and again.

My summer in Bangkok
August 22, 2026Charlotte Bevin - United StatesProvider: Beyond Academy
I absolutely loved my summer in Bangkok with Beyond Academy. It was really interesting to learn about Thai culture from just walking to the BTS station and talking to locals. It is very humid in Bangkok and be prepared to sweat a lot but it is worth it! The food in Thailand is delicious, my personal favorite was the Thai Basil Rice (you can clarify your spice levels). I also highly suggest to travel to other places in Thailand/South East Asia while you are there. I went to Phuket, Ko Samet (beaches) and Chang Mai (more mountains/rural).
I guess i want to move to China from Ireland
August 22, 2026David Conner - IrelandProvider: Go Abroad China Ltd.
After finishing school in Ireland, I didn't want to just travel — I wanted to do something meaningful. GAC's gap year program in Shanghai was perfect. I interned at a marketing agency in the mornings and studied Mandarin at Fudan University in the afternoons. The team arranged everything — my internship, classes, shared apartment, and weekend trips. I came back with real work experience, improved Chinese, and a clear direction for my future. Highly recommend.

Best place to learn Mandarin!
August 22, 2026Jream Henderson - United StatesLearning at Silk Mandarin is a great experience! The teachers are very knowledgable, encouraging, and accomodating. The location is super convenient to get to and the building and classrooms are welcoming. Apart from the part-time lessons they also hosted a Mahjong session which was super fun. I'll definitely return for HSK-2. Highly recommend!

Arcos helped us with our recent study abroad trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina. Everyone on the team was so kind, thorough, and great with communication. They planned learning activities that aligned incredibly well with the interests of our students, and were with us every step of the way to make sure things went smoothly. The co-directors for Buenos Aires were incredible. They showed so much care for our students and brought incredible positivity and energy every day. I highly recommend them!

I had the best time of my life doing an internship in here
August 22, 2026Raimond Kevin - NetherlandsProvider: The Intern Group
Program: International Internships in Bangkok
Personally, though, my experience with the TIG has been so much positive. Their team was always responsive and supportive throughout the whole process. They helped me a lot to prepare for mock interviews pre-interview with the host company, organised CV workshops and seminars and even ran cultural sessions that brought me closer to a better idea of what living and interning abroad would actually be like before i arrived. They also helped me with accommodation, my visa process and answered pretty much every question i had along the way. What I actually do appreciate the most is how supportive the Bangkok Intern Group has been. Whenever I need help whether it was with exchanging money, accommodation, or if any issues came up with work, they are always there to help and respond quickly. I would definitely say this experience has been worth all.
Once in a lifetime opportunity

I took a risk when I decided to accept my offer into this program. I knew it was a brand new program and I didn’t know anyone that was going to be there. I ended up making friends that will last a lifetime all while learning about sustainability issues and what it’s like to live in a different country.

The Chilean Dream

Program: USAC Chile: Santiago-Latin American & Anthropology Studies
I absolutely loved my time in Chile. Not only were the accommodations and classes perfect, but so was the life outside the classroom. Being located in Santiago, we were right in the capital city with multiple events, and activities you could participate in during your time abroad. It was a beautiful landscape with of a city with mountains, and an ocean in Valparaiso\Viña Del Mar just an hour away. I highly recommend studying in Chile!

Mexico with Iguana Abroad
August 21, 2026Kaley Laurel-Jones - United StatesProvider: Iguana Abroad
Learning Spanish in Mexico with Iguana Abroad was an incredible and unforgettable experience that truly deepened my knowledge of Spanish and my love for travel. I learnt so much during my time there – both with our teachers in our classes but also around the city during the “immersion” part of the program. I would say I learnt the most Spanish on my trip while I was talking to people around the city on the guided walks and tours with Iguana Abroad, as well as during the salsa dance class and the Mexican cooking class. The organizers of the program really encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and immerse yourself in Mexican culture as much as possible which I found so helpful for gaining confidence with my Spanish. The Iguana Abroad team is all really supportive and welcoming and the program directors and staff really went above and beyond to make sure our group of girls felt comfortable the whole time we were on the course. I highly recommend this program for anyone looking to fully immerse themselves in Mexican culture and learn Spanish in an exciting environment through cultural immersion.
Web Development Internship in Morogoro
August 21, 2026Myles Carpenter - United StatesProvider: FIEN Foundation
Program: Computer Technician Internship
Many thanks to Magessa George and the FIEN Foundation for their warm welcome to Morogoro, Tanzania! My main objective was to make a website for Green Apple Pre and Primary School, alongside my colleague Ryder. We visited the school a few times a week to work directly with teachers and administration to design a website that met their needs. We enjoyed playing football with the kids at school on Wednesday afternoons. I give my thanks to Mr. and Madam Kusaga for hosting us at the school. After Ryder and I completed our work, we were invited to an Iftar celebration hosted by the school. The Kusagas, teachers, and I spoke, giving thanks for the experience and work we put in together. I felt so much support from the FIEN Foundation as I navigated this journey. FIEN families hosted us for lunches and dinners. George introduced us to friends who guided us through shopping, public transportation, and other elements of life in Morogoro. I lovedworking at the FIEN office most days, chatting over chai with George, meeting his family, and enjoying delicious ugali. I find myself counting the days until I can return to see my friends in TZ again.

Currently I now live in Norway and am pursuing my Masters in Computer Science. During my exchange semester, I met so many people and the classes I took really inspired me. Genuinely, I think the experience was somewhat live changing. The professors I met were also incredible. Even though I am a computer science major, I feel this experience would be good for any major.
Barcelona Intern
August 21, 2026Kiera Ramirez - United StatesProvider: Beyond Academy
The entire internship abroad experience was great! The Beyond Academy coordinators did a great job organizing activities that allowed us to experience the must-see parts of Barcelona, while also providing great recommendations for places to eat, explore, and navigate the city. I also really appreciated the wide variety of internship fields available. Overall, it was a great way to gain international work experience while experiencing life in Barcelona!
Thank you so much for the lovely review, Kiera! We’re so glad to hear that you had such a positive experience in Barcelona and were able to combine gaining international work experience with making the most of everything the city has to offer. It’s especially great to hear how much you enjoyed the activities organized by our Barcelona Community Team, as well as all of their local recommendations along the way. We always want our interns to feel like they’re really experiencing life in their program city, rather than simply living and working there for a few weeks. We loved having you as part of our Barcelona community and hope you’re leaving with some amazing memories, new skills and experiences that you can take forward into your future career. Wishing you all the best with whatever comes next!
