An Unforgettable European Adventure

Forum-Nexus was a wonderful experience, and I would rate it 9/10. I loved traveling to so many places, meeting new people, and learning through the classes and professional visits. The program was well balanced, and the staff were supportive and helpful. I especially enjoyed the independent cultural visits and the opportunity to experience different cities. Some professional visits, such as Heineken, felt a little long, and the Paris hotel was not ideal. Overall, I learned a lot, made great memories, and would definitely recommend Forum-Nexus to others.

This is Forum-Nexus!!

I had the time of my life studying abroad for 5 weeks with Forum-Nexus! We toured to so many iconic destinations, historical landmarks and beautiful countries in such a short period of time. There was always something to do and see every day, and there was never a dull moment during the entire trip. The staff and Hugo were full of infectious energy all the time and they were incredibly helpful with everything leading up to and throughout the program. The entire program was very organized and safe, and overall very well put together. Forum-Nexus offers something for everyone interested. The classes were all extremely interesting and relevant, and the professors were very engaged. What you learn in the classroom carries into where you’re touring that day and the professional and cultural visits were all incredible and a unique aspect to Forum-Nexus. I met some of the best people on this trip and I had so much fun every single day. This program is truly one of a kind and it was absolutely amazing. Be prepared to dance and sing every day and have the time of your life with Forum-Nexus! I really couldn’t recommend this program enough!

This is Forum Nexus!

If you think about it, how many countries have your friends visited? Personally, all my friends have only visited their home countries, and maybe even Canada and/or Mexico. In just five weeks, I was able to visit more countries than my friends probably ever will. I come from a place where everyone is stagnant and everyone sees themselves growing up in the same exact hometown with the same exact people. They do not seem themselves as risk takers, and so I obviously became the same. Life for me was going to medical school, moving back to my hometown, and then raising a family that will do the same. Now, it's completely different. I don't want anything to do with my hometown anymore. This program literally changed my life and I cannot thank them enough. Everything about it was perfect because of how much we experienced. Within a span of five weeks, I was able to visit the FC Barcelona Soccer Club, saw an authentic French chef cook me dinner, visited the UN in Switzerland, saw the Sister Chapel, and relaxed on the beaches of Greece. Every single day was filled with adventure and I cannot think of any other program that would give just as an amazing of an experience.

Amazing

Forum Nexus offered more to me than I ever could have expected. I went in to the program nervous and shy, by excited for what was to come. Within 24 hours of arriving, I had made friends that I felt like I had known for years. The program does an INCREDIBLE job making sure you get some cultural immersion, and the program director, Hugo, is really passionate about culture. Before each country, we learned about the history, language, geography, and culture. When we arrived, we got to sight-see with the group and on our own, so you get to personalize each experience. The academics are fabulous, with world-class professors who travel with you and not only teach you but get to know you. I would do Forum Nexus every summer for the rest of my life if I could.

A European Summer with FN

This program was a wonderful experience, though be prepared to plan a lot yourself. You are in class for most mornings and some afternoons, but all the other time is yours! The classes are meant to make you think, but they are not too difficult. As long as you attend class, pay attention, and study for the midterm and final, there is no reason you wouldn't pass with flying colors. The most surprising this to me was that there was a lot of independence with this program. The advisors were there to help if you needed it, but no one held your hand and showed you around Europe. It was up to you to see everything! Taking advantage of the weekend trips and sightseeing after classes is 100% worth it, so make sure you make the most of it by planning before you go and booking tours and such. The cultural experience is amazing since you are not only in Europe, but you have tons of students and professors from other countries traveling with you. Some of the best friends I made were from countries other than the U.S., and they helped me to learn so much!

Life Changing Experience

This was the greatest experience of my life. When I was trying to figure out which study abroad program to go on, I wanted see as many places that I could in the time that I would be away. I looked over tens of programs and then my roommate suggested Forum Nexus. I looked at the list of places that the program offered and it immediately seemed obvious which program I should go on. Most of the other programs offered one or two cities in another country for about 2 months. When I saw that Forum Nexus offered six countries in 4 weeks, I knew that this was the program for me. It gave me the chance to see so much of Europe and since it was an international program, I made friendships with people from all over the world that will last me a lifetime. I still talked to all of the friends that I met from the trip daily in a Forum Nexus group chat to this day and I feel so blessed to have been given the opportunity to go on this trip. I recommend anyone that is reading this to go, It will change your life!
