During my internship at my internship, several aspects of the programme stood out as particularly rewarding and impactful. My favourite aspects of the programme are exposure to real projects and the opportunity to apply my knowledge in a professional setting. The supportive mentorship and constructive feedback provided made the whole learning experience engaging, which I'm really thankful for. Overall, these all helped me improve and gain the confidence I needed. I benefited from this internship by gaining valuable on-the-job experience, understanding the workflow, how different disciplines coordinate on projects, and improving my skills and knowledge. Key skills I learned and improved include technical drafting, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, time management, and the ability to receive and apply constructive feedback.

I really enjoy the work I’m doing in my internship, as it aligns well with my academic background and the direction I’d like to pursue in the future. I have learned how to read and interpret solar system drawings, deploy wireless communication systems, and integrate them effectively with solar PV systems. I have also strengthened my problem-solving skills through hands-on experience.
