International Volunteer HQ [IVHQ]

My family and I volunteered as an opportunity to give back when we have so much. Through IVHQ we had a safe, informative, helpful and overall incredible experience. The staff was very organized and responsive in answering all questions prior to travel. The experience went exceptionally well for such long flights, and they were even very accommodating when the airline misplaced our baggage for the 1st 8 days of the trip. We had a clear plan and clear expectations and nothing disappointed! This was our second family volunteer trip with IVHQ, and we plan to spend 2 weeks in Vietnam next Christmas with them as well! What an incredible way to authentically see the world for a very reasonable cost and give back at the same time. Priceless.

I was honestly scared when I first arrived in Bali. Everything was new, unfamiliar, and far outside my comfort zone. But choosing to push through that fear ended up being the best decision I could’ve made. This experience taught me real life skills no school or university ever teaches independence, adaptability, and gratitude. Living in a different environment made me appreciate what I have and showed me how much I’m capable of on my own. Bali didn’t just give me memories, it changed the way I see life, and I’m so grateful I took the risk and booked that flight!!
