The Kindergarten project supports government-owned centers and those wholly supported by IVHQ’s partner organization in Ubud, Bali. It is for local children aged 3 to 7 years old, mainly from poor villages around the Ubud area. Volunteers need to genuinely love working with children and understand their behavior, as you will be surrounded by plenty of them every day and their friendliness can sometimes become overwhelming (they are children after all)! Embrace the culture, love the experience

Don’t be hesitant! Just do it! It’s a little bit scary during the first week but it’s just the first days. You’ll get used to everything and you’ll really enjoying it! Go with an open mind, it’s a completely different culture but it’s really worth it. I loved it.
