IVHQ was an amazing experience that I am already trying to plan another trip. Volunteering around the world was always a dream and this program was just that! IVHQ was such an easy process to complete and they gave me so much information as a first time traveller and a female traveller it made me feel safe and prepared. They answered my questions so quickly before and during the trip and the in country support was beyond amazing. My only regret was only doing two weeks, I'm definitely coming back for more! I love that no matter how long you are placed for, the IVHQ volunteering makes a huge impact to the communities that need it. Thank you IVHQ

Los momentos en la escuelita con los niños los llevo en la mente y corazon, fueron maravillosos. Todo el grupo de voluntarios con la mejor vibra! La empresa IVHQ en Tanzania tienen todo absolutamente organizado hasta el ultimo detalle. Siempre acompañada. No tengo mas que agradecimientos a todos ellos. When arriving in Tanzania I was welcomed like I was part of their family. The coordinators and the team were amazing from the second they met me and were helpful through my whole experience. I was lucky to do a month at a daycare and a month at a school and it changed me in ways I never thought possible. The hardest part about my experience was having to leave the family I gained while over there.

It was amazing! The program I did was so fun and fulfilling! And the staff at my house were so kindhearted and wanted to help with everything you asked/was wondering. It also felt very safe to be there, and it was always security around the house. The food was also so good! The staff there did a really good job with cleaning the house, making sure we had enough food etc. The transport there was also very good, 10/10!

The experience was great. We stayed in very clean houses, and food was included. There was even hot water and a caretaker! For the volunteer programs, I was able to do babysitting, which was fantastic. The veterinary internship was a little less enjoyable. I made friends from all over the world. It was a great social experience!

I truly love the experience from ivhq!I recommend for those who want to volunteer aboard but has no experience at all! ivhq ensure and support in every steps you take for your volunteering project.They also have strong connection with the local team, when you arrive you have every support you need and you don't feel overwhelmed easily, you feel free to ask for everything you need, the local team would do everything they can to assist you.

Outside of volunteering, I had the chance to explore the incredible beauty of Tanzania — from the vibrant local markets to breathtaking safaris. The people I met, both locals and fellow volunteers, made this journey unforgettable. I can’t recommend IVHQ enough for anyone looking to combine travel with purpose. Tanzania will always have a special place in my heart, and I’m already looking forward to my next volunteering adventure.

I had an incredible experience volunteering with IVHQ. From the moment I signed up, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. Any questions I had before my trip were answered quickly by my program manager via email, which gave me a lot of peace of mind leading up to my departure. Once I arrived in-country, the local team was equally amazing. They were always available to help with anything I needed and responded quickly whenever I reached out—even by phone! Their support made me feel safe, welcomed, and well taken care of. The program itself was well-organized, meaningful, and a great balance of work and cultural immersion. My experience with IVHQ was everything and more that I could ask for. For it being my first volunteering experience, I wanted to find a trustworthy company, so I did not hasitate to go on with this program seeing the website that they have perfected. They offered me all the information I needed, which helped me a lot to prepare myself for this journey. IVHQ was super well organized. I felt safe at all times and everything was planned through. They really make for a stress free trip. I completely fell in love with the organization and the people working for them, I would definetly book with IVHQ again. My experience was amazing, the local team was there to help 24/7, they worked hard every day. The food was great in the volunteer house. Everything was clean and well organised and made easy for myself as this was something I was worried about as a first time solo traveller. I loved every second.

I was so so so terrified of taking part in this experience as I knew no one who done it before. IVHQ and the local team in Tanzania were absolutely amazing in making me feel comfortable. I was there for 8 weeks and I could’ve stayed another 8 weeks. It was the best experience of my life.

The programs offered by IVHQ in Africa are diverse, impactful, and deeply rooted in local needs. I volunteered in a rural community, where I worked alongside local staff in a local daycare. The opportunities to interact with locals, learn about their culture, and contribute to the community, made the experience so much more than just volunteer work—it was a chance to build meaningful connections and immerse myself in a new environment. The Local team provided excellent orientation and support throughout, which helped us feel safe and confident during our time in Africa. The living conditions were simple, but comfortable, and we were encouraged to adapt to the local lifestyle, which made the experience feel more authentic and connected. The food was always fresh and delicious, and the accommodation was clean and well-maintained. Aside from the volunteering, the cultural immersion was incredible. The weekends were filled with opportunities to explore local wildlife, vibrant markets, and even go on safari in the Serengeti! The local team and our coordinators also encouraged us to learn a few words in the local language, which truly helped in connecting with the community on a deeper level. The program gave me the chance to be a part of something greater than myself while making lifelong memories and friendships. If you're looking for a meaningful way to give back while also experiencing the beauty of Africa, I cannot recommend IVHQ enough!

I feel so lucky to have had this experience! The program was incredible, I didn't want to leave. I loved how social it was having a house full of people from all over the world. I definitely recommend doing at least 4 weeks as 2 certainly wasn't enough. The local team were amazing and I never once felt unsafe the entire trip! There is so much opportunity and time outside of your placement to do lots of fun activities such as going on a safari or to the nearby waterfalls. Already thinking about planning my next IVHQ trip.

I gained confidence with my ability to adapt to new cultures and successfully teach English to children aged 4-14 who had varying levels of English understanding. My advice to prospective volunteers would be to go for it - it’s so rewarding for yourself as well as making a positive impact on the children’s educational experience.

IVHQ has been amazing from the get go! All information to help you prepare is available and is very accurate to the trip. I loved every second!

My best moment on the trip was when I painted the classrooms of my placement. The gratitude and happiness of the director and teachers came with tears, I will never forget it. I grew as a person and learned to enjoy life and and not take for granted.

The safari and working at my placement were the highlights of my experience in Tanzania. I was very impressed to see how grateful and happy the kids are. It's a life time experience and you won’t regret it.
