August 12, 2026by: Suskia TreleavenThe Marketing & Communications internship in Sydney gave me the real life experience which I can tie closely to my studies, and this has helped me understand different topics more easily. The internship also gave me the practical experience I needed to help boost my CV (resume) for my later career, and better prepare me for my future. I enjoyed meeting many people from different cultures a lot. My host family accommodation was amazing; I couldn’t have asked for better.
The greatest two months of my life
August 12, 2026by: Campbell Adams - United StatesThe program itself was amazing. I had a great placement. Work life is very fun and chill, but also enough work where I was learning a great amount. The program has a ton of opportunities to get together and do cool trips, but it also gives you the free freedom to travel. The two coordinators were awesome. Honestly made us feel so comfortable being in Barcelona.

Whiskey Time!
August 10, 2026by: Elena Gao - United StatesProgram: Global Internship & Volunteer Programs with Connect-123!
I had such a wonderful experience working at Teeling Whiskey Distillery in Dublin. The staff were all so genuinely nice and made me feel right at home. Rotating through the cafe, reception, and the back bar allowed me to understand all the different phases of a working distillery, and meeting the bosses was a great addition to the program. Dublin attracts so much tourism, I really enjoyed meeting so many different people from all over the world at my work. It felt like a true mix of diversity, which allowed me to learn so many unique things from everyone I encountered. I was also incredibly glad to use my Mandarin skills to help out. On my days off, I had the best time exploring Dublin, traveling around Ireland, and adventuring into other European countries. It was a beautiful journey both professionally and personally!

Summer in Madrid, Spain
August 09, 2026by: Dalylah Greenbach - United StatesProgram: International Internships in Madrid
My time in Madrid was the best three months of my life; I learned so much about myself and was able to meet a bunch of new people. I loved how easygoing Madrid was, from the transportation to how nice the people were. I was able to experience the Madrid culture and try new foods. It took a little bit to get used to the 9-hour time difference and the late dinners. I also loved how easy it was to travel around Europe because Madrid has easy access to trains and flights. Lastly, I had the best roommates and made lifelong memories. The Intern Group was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. More specifically, Lalita and Corinne were so helpful while being in Madrid. Anytime I had a question, they were able to answer it very quickly. Also, getting to be in a group with other interns made the experience a lot easier because we were able to connect and relate to each other's experiences. I was able to make lifelong friends with some of the people in the group. The Bubble (the company that I worked with) made it very welcoming and allowed me to ask any questions that I was unsure about. They gave me many hands-on tasks, which I am grateful for because I gained a lot of experience. Overall, Madrid makes it extremely easy to adapt to and is a great place to do an internship. There is always something to do, and you will 100% make lifelong memories and friendships.
Best experience of my life!
August 08, 2026by: Ella Walker - United StatesMy experience with Absolute Internship in Barcelona was truly unforgettable. I absolutely fell in love with Spain, from the culture and people to the lifestyle and beautiful city of Barcelona. Having Barcelona as my home base made the experience feel like I was truly living abroad rather than just visiting. I had a favorite supermarket where they knew and recognized me, and we would smile and wave everytime I passed by, a favorite pizza place, etc. Being able to go on weekend trips to other countries and come back to a home was amazing, rather than moving from hotel to hotel for 2 months. The public transportation made it so easy to explore the city and travel to other places throughout Barcelona, and we got a metro card so we didn't have to pay every time we wanted to move around. One of my favorite parts of the program was the people I met. I made some of my best friends through Absolute, and the memories we had are something I will never forget. I also loved my host company and coworkers, who made me feel welcomed, supported, and excited to go to work each day. The program coordinators were incredibly helpful and made the entire experience feel comfortable and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I also made friends who are locals, and I'm planning to go back and visit them.

My internship gave me valuable professional experience and allowed me to build on my skills. An Experience That Changed My Perspective
August 06, 2026by: Ayen Amandy - PhilippinesProgram: International Internships in Madrid
Joining The Intern Group's architecture internship program in Madrid, Spain was one of the best decisions I've ever made. What started as an opportunity to gain international work experience became a journey of personal growth, cultural immersion, and lifelong memories. During my internship, I worked in a professional architecture firm where I was exposed to real-world projects, collaborated with experienced architects, and learned how design practices differ in an international setting. It strengthened both my technical and communication skills while teaching me how to adapt to a multicultural workplace. Living in Madrid was equally rewarding. The accommodation was clean, safe, and conveniently located near public transportation, making it easy to commute to work and explore the city. Madrid itself is vibrant, walkable, and rich in history, and I loved spending weekends visiting museums, parks, cafés, and nearby cities. The Intern Group also organized social events that made it easy to connect with interns from all over the world, many of whom I still keep in touch with today. One thing I appreciated most was how this experience pushed me outside my comfort zone. Moving to another country, navigating daily life in a different language, and balancing work with travel helped me become more independent, resilient, and confident. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to provide even more structured networking opportunities or career development workshops tailored to different industries. That said, the overall support from The Intern Group was excellent, and I always felt that there was someone I could reach out to whenever I needed assistance. I would highly recommend this program to students and recent graduates who want more than just an internship. If you're looking to gain meaningful professional experience while growing as a person and experiencing life in another country, this program is absolutely worth it. It was truly a life-changing experience that continues to influence both my career and personal outlook.

Amazing support for internship & academic credits
August 03, 2026by: Matea ShizuruProgram: Intern Abroad HQ - Affordable Internships From Just 2 weeks!
Karen and Kristal at Intern Abroad HQ were wonderful at assisting me and my study abroad counselor throughout the whole process (esp. with the academic credits). Thank you to them! What I enjoyed most about the Public Health internship in Cape Town was being able to work closely and connect with such qualified, educated, and passionate professionals in my field. Being exposed to the work that they do gave me a clearer idea of what I want to do in my own professional career and gave me insight into what it takes to get there. Furthermore, I enjoyed being mentored by my internship supervisor and being able to take charge of my own internship project.
Had the best time in Valencia!
August 03, 2026by: Carson Koenning - United StatesI had a great experience with AIP Study Abroad Internships, especially because of how kind and helpful the staff was throughout the entire process. From the beginning, everyone I interacted with was incredibly friendly, responsive, and genuinely wanted to make sure I had a good experience abroad. Whenever I had a question or needed help with something, the AIP team was always easy to reach and willing to help. Moving abroad and starting an internship in another country can definitely be stressful at times, but having such a supportive staff made the whole experience much easier. They were welcoming, patient, and always made me feel like I had someone I could reach out to if I needed anything. Overall, I’m very grateful for everyone at AIP who helped me along the way and made my time abroad such a positive experience. I would definitely recommend AIP to anyone considering an internship abroad!
4 Weeks I won’t forget.
August 03, 2026by: Jolomi Uvieghara - United KingdomSpending time in Madrid as part of a marketing placement was one of the best experiences I've had. It gave me the opportunity to develop practical marketing skills in an international environment while learning from talented people with different perspectives. Every day brought new challenges that helped me grow both professionally and personally. Outside of work, Madrid was an amazing city to explore. From the food and culture to the lively atmosphere, there was always something new to experience. One of the biggest highlights was the friendships I made along the way. I met incredible people from around the world, and together we created memories that I'll always look back on fondly. This experience boosted my confidence, improved my communication skills, and gave me a greater appreciation for working in a multicultural environment. I would highly recommend an opportunity like this to anyone looking to gain valuable experience, meet amazing people, and enjoy life in one of Europe's most vibrant cities.
My experience with Absolute Internship was truly transformative and unforgettable.
August 02, 2026by: Alvin Terrible - United StatesCompleting an international internship in Barcelona gave me the opportunity to grow professionally, personally, and culturally while gaining valuable experience in a global work environment. During my internship, I worked with the European Large Families Confederation (ELFAC), where I developed skills in communication, marketing, content creation, project management, and collaboration with an international team. I was able to contribute to meaningful projects while learning how organizations operate across different cultures. Beyond the professional experience, living abroad helped me become more independent, adaptable, and confident. I was able to explore a new country, connect with people from different backgrounds, and step outside of my comfort zone. The support provided by Absolute Internship made the transition into an international experience much smoother. I would highly recommend Absolute Internship to any student looking to gain career experience, expand their global perspective, and create lifelong memories. July 30, 2026by: Akhil Sankar - United StatesAmazing experience, I could not have asked for a better provider to guide me through this journey! Nisha and Tyler were the best as they helped me navigate my first couple days here and made it much easier for me.
Finance and Accounting Intern
July 30, 2026by: Adelina Arevalo - United StatesMy six-week internship in Barcelona with Absolute Internship was a life changing experience. Working at a dynamic firm, I stepped out of my comfort zone to process operational invoices directly through Spanish accounting software, which sharpened my financial skills and adaptability in an international workplace. Beyond the office, the program provided rich cultural immersion, including incredible weekend trips like exploring Madrid. Navigating a new city alongside a cohort of ambitious peers expanded my global perspective, built my confidence as an emerging finance professional, and showed me the value of professional experience abroad. Absolute Internship didn't just offer an internship, it also gave me an unforgettable summer that fundamentally shaped my career direction.
My opportunity to intern was one of the best things I've been blessed enough to be a part of.

My opportunity to intern was one of the best things I've been blessed enough to be a part of. It taught me so much about the world, the field of International Policy, culture, and working with people from other cultures. It contributed so much to how I developed as a person, how I travel, and how I live life, and the whole experience was incredibly eye-opening, both professionally and personally. I am incredibly glad that I decided to take part in this internship, it was one of the most amazing things I've gotten to be a part of.
It was a great program

I think Intern Abroad HQ was a great program because it provided and coordinated all that I needed. It was encouraging to not have to have every bit of my internship figured out and to know everything that was included would be reliable.
