The Vulcanus in Japan program offers a unique opportunity for students from the EU and SMP-associated countries studying engineering and scientific fields to gain hands-on experience in Japan. The program will run from August 2024 to March 2025 and includes a one-week seminar on Japan, a two-month intensive Japanese language course, and a six-month internship at a Japanese company. Participants will learn advanced technologies, immerse themselves in Japanese culture, and enhance their career prospects with this comprehensive industrial training program. The EU-Japan Centre covers the costs related to lectures and language courses, while the host company provides accommodation. Additionally, participants receive a grant to support travel, insurance, and living expenses. This program aims to prepare students for future careers involving interactions with Japanese businesses and foster a deep appreciation of Japanese culture and technology.
