My internship at a Japanese logistics company
by: Raphael Cruz - United StatesProgram: Tokyo Internship with Meiji InternshipsLooking back at my past three months in Tokyo, I can wholeheartedly say that it was the best decision to go with Meiji Internships for this program. I chose the business package with all its features and they did not just land me an absolutely amazing internship in a logistics company but also took me to so many sightseeing trips, networking events with fellow startup companies, business dinners and much more. Make sure to follow Japan's business etiquette as they completely differ from Western ...
Healthcare & Social Internship right in Tokyo's challenging neighborhoods
by: Alina Weiss - CanadaProgram: Tokyo Internship with Meiji InternshipsStudying social work and even doing an internship in Asia was unthinkable for me. The nature of my job and the need to communicate seemed big challenges but I like challenges! So I expressed my needs to Meiji and they carefully listened and assesed my case. After some initial time, I had good news that they could help me with my request but told me to be open to another industry as they do require two industry choices when applying with them. I helped out a Japanese NPO organisation dealing w...
I would do it all over again with Meiji!
by: David Singh - United KingdomProgram: Tokyo Internship with Meiji InternshipsThe whole internship experience was well planned and successfully implemented by both, Meiji and my host company. The balance of work and leisure was allowing me to explore Tokyo and also do some sightseeing trips outside the city. My organisation did support me with dinners out with fellow employees and also had the chance joining some business networking events organised by Meiji. I will be back for an interview this Summer again in Tokyo. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Since my young childhood I was always amazed by Japanese robotics and software games. I literally grew up with video games like many other of my friends, and it also grew the passion in me to pursue studies in IT at my current university in Hanoi.

I went on a high school exchange when I was 15 years old to Ontario, Canada. This amazing experience is what got me started on my travel addiction. However, I don't want to just quickly visit every country. I believe you haven't really been to country unless you have understood its culture and mingled with its people for a sufficient amount of time. It is in this mindset that I departed for my adventure to Japan, a country that I had wanted to go to and learn more about since childhood.

I have learned Japanese for years and I love Japanese culture so that inspired me to travel to Japan. I also wanted to work abroad in the future, so I think the internship in Japan will help my future career.
