This has been a great experience to have fun and learn at the same time. You got time for meeting new people, walking around new places and new experiences, but at the same time, gaining new professional skills. Seeing a professional enviromet from a new perspective has helped me think about how to make the right moves later on my carreer path and that was one of my objectives for this program. I’m also so thankful for how the experience team in London (Peach and Alex) have managed to set up different events that helped me Connect better with other interns. I completely recomend this program for someone searching their right carreer path and someone that’s looking to enhace their CV gaining international exposure on a professional enviroment.

I’m just not a fan of online courses. I looked at in person courses and almost shuddered at the price, so online learning is what I had to settle for. Dont get me wrong, it’s a good course, but it’s still just screen work. For being online, the content was very good.

My two visits to CE have been nothing short of magical. Interacting with cheetahs, learning about them and many other big cats, carrying out husbandry, feeding and seeing these magnificent animals close up is an experience I'll never forget. Throw in dedicated and hilarious staff, social events and a hugely diverse group of volunteers and you will want to return again and again.

The multilingual school in Cusco is run by the lovely Boris and his family who are passionate about giving children equal opportunities in education and language. You can see they truly want the best for their students staff and volunteers as they treat everyone with the upmost care and respect. I stayed for 3 weeks, working with teacher Claudia with the 2 year old class. It was a great opportunity to give back to this wonderful community and I loved working with the kids they were so sweet and fun to spend time with. The accomodation is clean and comfy, and some cats that lived on site if that’s your thing, plus the food provided was always yummy. Cusco itself is a wonderful place with so much to do. On the weekend myself and the other volunteers often went on adventures and had a great time. The kindergarten is easy to get to and there are plenty of little convenience stores near by. I really admire Boris’s passion for this school and I want to thank him and his family again for making me feel so welcome.

Such a special place for me ♥️ I volunteered there for 2 weeks and fell in love with all the animals! They are truly fascinating and so well taken care of by the kind and knowledgeable staff that works incredibly hard to make sure that the animals are healthy and happy. If you get a chance to visit or to volunteer, definitely do so. It will be a true enrichment and a fun time getting to know each animal. Being so close to them is magical. I can't wait to go back!

My experience studying abroad was so rewarding and fulfilling. Through API, I was able to see another culture, meet lots of new people, and challenge myself! API supported every step in the process, through assistance with the visa process, arrival, housing, and providing opportunities for cultural exploration. We spent a weekend in Venice with the program and were able to see how glass blowing works. I am so thankful for my semester abroad, and I would encourage everyone to see new parts of the world!

I did the working holiday, but worked with the volunteers. The staff are fantastic with the animals and people. The whole experience is one not to be missed. Everyone works together as a team Accommodation very good. Transport to the farm also very good. Food provided is great. Social events are good to The dedication shown by the staff is truly amazing.

Studying abroad with Toucan Abroad in Costa Rica was the best experience I’ve ever had. I got to meet so many different people and experience things I had never done before. I was adventurous and outgoing and honestly a completely new person. We got experience shadowing PTs in different clinical settings and since it wasn’t in the US, we got to actually interact with the patients. I learned so much and had a great time doing it as well. On top of gaining shadowing hours, we also did so many amazing things on our weekend trips. I went ziplining, rode ATVs through a storm in the jungle, went on a party boat in the ocean, went surfing, and so many other awesome experiences. I will never forget my time with Toucan Abroad and I am so grateful that I got to do it. I am still talking to our study abroad group today and we are hoping to have a reunion soon.

Some experiences stay with you long after they come to an end, and my time in Bali was definitely one of them. I had the opportunity to spend five weeks in Bali, completing my internship at Made Tea in Ubud, and honestly, it turned out to be so much more than I expected. From the beginning, I felt welcomed and appreciated. Working with Made Tea gave me the opportunity to discover a different professional environment, develop my communication and digital marketing skills, work on creative projects, and gain valuable hands-on experience. I had the chance to create content, work on social media, communicate with potential business partners and contribute to real projects. It was rewarding to see that my ideas and work were genuinely valued. One of the highlights was definitely the people. I am especially grateful to my supervisor, Roni, for her kindness, trust, guidance and patience throughout my internship. Being surrounded by such welcoming people made the experience even more special. And then there was Bali itself! 🌺 Living and working in Ubud allowed me to discover a completely different culture, meet people from different backgrounds, experience the local lifestyle and create memories I will always cherish. Every day brought something new, whether it was discovering beautiful places, trying new food, learning about local traditions or simply enjoying the atmosphere. What I appreciated most was the balance between professional development and personal discovery. I didn’t just gain experience to add to my CV; I also became more independent, confident, adaptable and open-minded. If you are considering an internship abroad, I would genuinely encourage you to take the opportunity. Don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. You might arrive expecting to gain professional experience, but leave with new skills, wonderful connections and memories that will stay with you forever. The experience at Cheeta Experience is something I would recommend everyone to do. You get to work with the most passionate employees, that all have the animals wellbeing at top priority. Besides that, thet really make you feel welcome and part of the team. In my case, I had a special requirement, because I brought my cat with me. Riana and the team did everything necessary to accommodate me and him. We had our own unit, when staff was needed for maintenance or anything, is was strictly in consultation with me. They really made this experience the best for me so far. And if you put in the effort for them (animals and staff!) you’ll receive what you put in <3
