I recently finished the course and received an email to review. If you're thinking about doing this course, it's very good. I'd just say that you should do your research on what kind of job you're looking to get at the end of it, though. They told me it suits most 'entry or middle level' ESL teaching requirements but not ones like British Council or similar. I'll be going into this for the first time with my newb badge, so it suits me perfectly. I learned everything from past methods to modern ones like TPR and how to plan lessons for all ages and how to use activities to get motivation up and so many tidbits along those lines that I feel pretty blessed to have found the course. The resources given at the end of the course are wonderful (though I did need to email them to get them to sort out the formatting on a couple of them as they were restricted in width: they happily obliged anyway) so no real complaints.

Fantastic experience. I was expecting just a basic grammar course, but it went so much deeper into teaching skills, games, how to find work, and building a career. I have nothing bad to say about this program; I highly recommend it!

What can I say other than being extremely proud of myself?! I have never taken an online course before, but watching a movie earlier in the year put an idea in my head about me bing abroad and teaching English, and now I’m finally in a position where I can do just that! It wasn’t easy, wasn’t hard, but it was extremely eye opening, rewarding, interesting, and just generally well executed! I couldn’t be happier with my experience!! I let AI help me out with this one, which I've found has worked out every time I've done that, though my sample size is only 3 right now! The teflmasters website looked legit when I clicked the gpt link, and the accreditor OTCC checked out, so off I went with payment. After paying, you click through to their LMS and get going with the course. I waited a few days before getting into the modules, which I found took anywhere from 2 to 4 hours to get through. 120 hours is feasible, though I doubt anyone reads everything twice and watches all videos and all the other things. The text is really detailed and has lots of teacher tips and stories related to the topic, and there are many different types of learner groups covered as well as online teaching. I doubt I'll ever teach online, but I guess it could be handy if ever something like covid hits again. On the topic of AI, one review I read mentioned AI video voice, but there wasn't a single AI video that I saw or heard. The staff mentioned to me on an email that the text had been grammar and spelling checked with grammarly AI, which explains why there aren't any errors in anything I read, but the audio thing had me a bit puzzled. They potentially did have and then changed it. I personally wouldn't have an issue with AI narration or images if they helped me, but it was a nice touch having human narration, even if I only listened to it for the trickier modules when I wanted a review without reading. Honestly, I think the only thing missing is images, and if they're reading this review I'd say the only thing missing is a few choice images (though maybe not gifs!) in your text, AI or not. Regardless, I think the amount that I got for my money here was brilliant, so this is by no means a deal breaker. This is a great course with staff who seem to really care about their training quality. I hope this review helps. Thanks

Not often that I leave reviews but am happy to oblige the review request on this occasion. The course is properly equipped with everything from well thought out wording (mostly easily understandable language) to problem-solving tasks about classroom issues and the flow of a full lesson. There's a heap of really cerebral information and questions to make you at least think about being in the situation of a real teacher. I've never taught before, didn't have any base knowledge of it before, but now feel like I can at least stand up in front of a class and get my lesson done to an okay standard. The resources they provide are far beyond my expectations for the cheap price of the course and my recruiter said the certificate will easily be accepted for South Korea for my EPIK application and other hakwon(?) jobs if I don't get the public school route. I now need to figure out which pathway is best for me before getting any interviews under my belt. One last thing I just remembered is that at the end of the course there's a heap of job help documents like cover letter maker and that kind of thing. I'll be making use of their interview questions cheat-sheet!

Can’t complain as it was all there and the price was peanuts. Got good mileage out of the lessons and liked the freebies at the end. Only thing that bothered me was not having access to a number to call before purchase. It’s legit, but a phone number would’ve helped me get to that place earlier

Exceptional support from these guys. Not sure how I managed to put a double space between my names on the cert, but I did, so hey ho. Anyway, long story short, I emailed when I saw my downloaded certificate looked a bit off due to the big gap. 10 minutes later, I had a new certificate in my inbox with 3 review links. I will recommend the course to all students and graduated students who will like to learn how they may become English teachers. The course prepared me to have the confidence and the skills to succeed as an online teacher of English. I receive the feedback that I could use to improve my understanding to teach.

This was gold for me. Not only was it affordable, but it hit the mark when it came to quality. I did a course a decade ago with ITT or something and found it pretty grim with nothing but a very to show for it. This course is properly engaging and dapper.

I always believe that a good company is nothing without strong communication from its staff, so I was pleasantly surprised that my emails were always answered by someone who was very human and very friendly. my question was answered within a couple of hours before I paid for the TEFL course and when I needed help with understanding a concept (I think it was about TPR for adults but my memory is suffering today), Jonny(?) gave me a really thoughtful response. I imagine most of these courses have the same information and structure anyway, but I'm super satisfied with the full deal.

I finished the 120 Hour TEFL and had my certs apostilled after I found a job using one of their China job recruiter links. I don’t think they get any commissions for these as I dealt with a recruiter. The course, I thought it was great because they cover so many topics; the feedback is good especially on practice tasks; and staff responded to my email. Everything was very especially because I passed and squeezed everything from it like a job application and paperwork.

Impressed! Not going to say it was perfect, as little is, but the longer course was really interesting and did the job well of bringing me from someone who knew nothing (literally) about ESL to feeling confident about what to do on day 1. Thanks!

Everything went well with no surprises. You pay, get an account started, then you're free to learn. I watched quite a few lessons and have to disagree with a review I read of the course (unless they've changed the vidos) - there's no AI video voices...not that it would really have mattered to me, but AI did ironically bring it up to me as a potential negative. I did the 120-hour course rather than the longer one, so perhaps that's the culprit, but the 120 has real voices. The culture unit was interesting but I'd say they all taught me many new things, so I'm good with it all. I didn't get my own tutor, but two different tutors did respond to my questions pretty sharp. That's me. It's a good course.

Things were like they promised when I message them - videos with human voice (good quality sound), videos of teaching, lots of text to read and buttons to click to keep me from being crazy and bored, and practice activities. The most boring thing is the grammar (which i know already from school of course) and the most interesting is the later units on skills, planning, etc. It's very cheap for the resources they give.

I'm already a teacher but wanted to add English-based certs to my c.v. This program is strong, especially for the price. Here's what my main pros were: excellent communication from staff before I signed up and when I needed help with a small amendment of my cert number; thorough wording - really useful information that covers lots of pedagogy I was already familiar with plus lots of English-subject specifics; nicely formatted lessons that allow you to interact with the info so you don't get bored; video narration of all the text was a cute touch; videos of many classes were good as it let me see it's similar to regular teaching in some ways but nuanced and a bit simpler; detailed feedback on practice assessments; logically sequenced units with good impetus on differences between classroom and online teaching. I'd like to see a bit more feedback on the main quizzes, but I believe they can't give too much or else students could just click to get answers first time and then parrot. Still, there must be a way to balance. Like I said, the feedback on practice quizzes and scenario learning is very good, so maybe this is their work-around? Overall, I strongly recommend this course as it's in-depth and very good value.

I was asked by TEFLMasters to review the course and can share that it was as promised with videos and text that got me thinking and learning everything pretty deeply. There was definately more to the course than I thought there'd be so I guess that's a tick in the box for value. Seriously though, this is a pro course and has given me confidence to get into the circuit.

It's a good course and I am proud that I finish it with time. I have learned many interesting things and feel confident in my English. I will use this for help me teach children more better in the academy. The price is good for what I learn.

Budget course that punches above its weight! It felt professional from staff to material, but let's not forget that it's still a cheap course, so I'm not going to give it full marks. Some things could be improved but it was great nonetheless. Can recommend as they came through with their promises.

I'm writing this partly out of guilt, but mostly because I think the course needs more positive exposure. Long story short, I lost my temper in an email for something that turned out to be my fault rather than teflm's. Staff calmly gave me the facts and didn't once make me feel blamed, even though it was blatantly my fault! The course is highly recommended due to how detailed they get with scenarios and feedback.
