An Unforgettable Volunteer Journey in Cusco
June 16, 2026by: Raphael Pietin - FranceVolunteering at the Multilingual School of Cusco has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my time in Peru. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by a friendly and supportive team that made me feel like part of the school community. The staff genuinely care about both the students and volunteers, creating a positive and encouraging environment where everyone can contribute and grow. Working with the children was incredibly fulfilling. The students are enthusiastic, curious, and eager to learn, making every day enjoyable and meaningful. I had the opportunity to assist in classrooms, support educational activities, and share my own ideas while gaining valuable experience in education and cultural exchange. Beyond the volunteer work itself, living in Cusco was an unforgettable experience. The city is rich in history, culture, and stunning landscapes, offering countless opportunities for exploration during free time. The school also helped me better understand Peruvian culture and connect with local people in a way that would not have been possible as a regular tourist. I would highly recommend the Multilingual School of Cusco to anyone looking for a volunteer experience that combines meaningful work, personal growth, cultural immersion, and a welcoming community. I leave with wonderful memories, new friendships, and skills that I will carry with me for years to come:
