It was a rewarding experience.
September 19, 2024by: Jehud Sabbat - HaitiProgram: Remote Internships by Asia Internship Program (AIP)
Over two months, I gained valuable skills, working on tasks like Facebook ad management and helping with the company’s website. This hands-on experience taught me how to adapt to challenges and grow professionally. I appreciated the trust and responsibilities given to me. Despite some hurdles, I consider this internship a significant learning experience that has prepared me well for future opportunities. I’m grateful for the support and mentorship I received throughout my time there.
Digital Marketing Remote Internship
January 08, 2024by: Alastair Conley - NetherlandsProgram: Remote Internships by Asia Internship Program (AIP)
I had the privilege of completing a 2-month remote internship with a Tech Solutions company as a Digital Marketing Intern, and the experience was so chill and enriching. One of the highlights of this internship was the hands-on exposure to various facets of digital marketing. I actively participated in content creation, managing social media platforms, and contributing to SEO optimization efforts. The team's guidance and constructive feedback played a pivotal role in refining my skills and understanding of the industry. I am proud to note specific achievements during the internship, including a notable increase in website traffic and social media engagement. These tangible results, coupled with the mentorship received, have significantly contributed to my professional development. All thanks to AIP for arranging my internship with this company. They exceeded my expectations and I'm very grateful for the opportunity. Also, they gave me a discount so I'm definitely applying for summer next year!
IT Remote Internship
December 04, 2023by: Stephen Mcdougall - New ZealandProgram: Remote Internships by Asia Internship Program (AIP)
During covid, I was having a hard time applying to companies as I needed to do my internship. I found AIP on a Facebook page and although it was difficult to trust an agency at that time, I still tried and they offered me a remote internship. I built my trust when they offered me a company that does exactly what I wanted which is software development. Although the company is based in Asia, my manager was very flexible and considerate when it comes to working hours. The projects were aligned to my course and I am very grateful for this opportunity.

Loved my accommodation and coordinator
May 26, 2023by: Emily Sanchez - United StatesDuring the placement process, The Intern Group only had one mechanical engineering option to offer me at a company based in Colombia and had to switch to a fully remote position. The situation was unfortunate because of the time zone differences and the workload was very independent. This wasn’t the internship I hoped for but it definitely challenged me professionally. The people that arrived the same time as I did + the accommodation made the whole experience worthwhile. Our experience coordinator, Erika, was very welcoming and helpful with everything we needed. We would have weekly meet ups to socialize and do fun activities together. The accommodation is full of other friendly students/travelers and I felt very safe, it’s comparable to a single dorm room.
Thank you for sharing your candid experience! We are glad that you have had an enriching experience overall and we look forward to seeing where your career takes you, Emily
An experience I did not expect
May 05, 2022by: Frances Bassett - FranceProgram: Remote Internships by Asia Internship Program (AIP)
I was a little bit skeptical about doing a remote internship because I am a big fan of traveling and Singapore is a place I’ve always wanted to go though. I had low expectations but to be honest I was pleasantly surprised. Working remotely allowed me to stay in the comfort of my home, which is nice and my employers were extremely friendly and supportive. I will admit the time difference was a bit of a struggle as I was in Europe and they were in Singapore so there was a 6 hour difference but my employers were extremely flexible and allowed me to work when it was convenient for me. While it is a shame that I did not manage to go to Singapore this time, this experience allowed me to see what it’s like to work remotely. I did enjoy the process and would be open to doing a similar experience in the future!
The time of my life in Madrid!
January 30, 2022by: Taylor Walsh - United StatesThis program was such a wonderful experience. I stayed in Madrid as one of their first digital nomads where I had the option to work from home while staying in Madrid. I worked with a Madrid marketing agency and sometimes would meet up with my boss to work together or grab coffee. This program was so flexible and fun I was able to travel all around Spain and Europe while adding a perfect internship to my resume. I made some of the best friends I’ve ever had and are still traveling/in contact with them today! The program directors are very involved and make sure you feel welcome in the destination of your choice. They also provide nights out with the other interns of that cohort while introducing new ones each month. I highly recommend this program to anyone wanting to be a world traveler without it impacting their career trajectories in a negative way. Thank you @theinterngroup!
Meaningful remote internship!
January 27, 2022by: Nigel Li - United StatesProgram: Remote Internships by Asia Internship Program (AIP)
I was trying to find a way to complete my internship requirement for school during a pandemic and I came across AIP through a google search. The unpredictable covid pandemic meant that I couldn't travel for an internship so I had to settle with a remote internship. Was I skeptical? Yes, but mostly because I didn't understand how it would workout if I was in a completely different timezone from the company. After speaking with my internship supervisor, everything was cleared up and all my doubts were gone. I had a very meaning internship with the company and even conducted market research for them! I helped create different social media content that even increased the amount of followers on the company's social media pages! I had a blast and I'm really happy with this internship experience!
Best time for an internship!
January 27, 2022by: Vance Mason - United StatesProgram: Remote Internships by Asia Internship Program (AIP)
The situation of the covid 19 epidemic made me decide to do a remote internship for my university credit. However, I had some concerns regarding the remote internship; I was concerned about the quality of work and experience I'll receive from the organization, including different countries' time zones. I chose AIP to help me provide a company that matches my needs; relates to my education and experience background, helps me from all my concerns. AIP helped me since preparing my profile before sending it to companies until I started working with the company. They always update me and always provide great assistance. I had a wonderful time with my internship; I feel comfortable talking to my supervisor, people are very nice too they always help me and talk to me. It’s such a warm welcome. THANK YOU AIP!
Do a remote internship if you have the chance!
December 09, 2021by: Cohen Murphy - BelgiumProgram: Remote Internships by Asia Internship Program (AIP)
Initially, I was planning to do an internship in China and unfortunately, because of Covid, China borders are still closed. I was disappointed at first because I was already placed at a company but they said I could switch to a remote internship instead. At first I was hesitant, but I took a shot and did it anyway. Best choice I did! Of course I couldn't be able to get the whole experience of working in China, but the company I was placed at were very friendly, I was able to learn so much new skills about the working industry even through the remote internship. I was able to even do work from anywhere as well which was so convenient for me, and AIP helped me so much through the whole process!
An internship to remember
August 16, 2021by: Allam Hoehm - CanadaProgram: Remote Internships by Asia Internship Program (AIP)
Initially, I had very low expectation for this remote internship. It defeated the whole purpose of a hands-on experience during an internship. However, I was pleasantly surprise how effective the internship was. I learned all the things I expected to, I got to have a good amount of interaction with people from the country itself and at the end of it, I came out feeling satisfied with the remote internship. I learned many skills that will be useful for the future and for that I am very grateful.
Remote internship is better than no internship
August 10, 2021by: Carlos Kendries - United StatesProgram: Remote Internships by Asia Internship Program (AIP)
I’ve been wanting to go to Japan for an internship for the longest time and unfortunately, the pandemic didn’t allow me. However, AIP managed to still help me find a remote internship with a company in Japan. Even though it wasn’t the ideal internship I was looking for, the remote internship was still amazing and I managed to still learn more about the design industry in Japan, which was the goal I wanted to achieve. To be honest, it was much more convenient doing the remote internship because I didn’t have to travel, I could do the internship from anywhere and I was able to manage my own working times with the company!
Thankful for remote internships!
July 23, 2021by: Lywood Malin - CanadaProgram: Remote Internships by Asia Internship Program (AIP)
It's not everyday we get to experience remote internships but for me, it was great and worth while. Ever since being stuck at home, it almost felt that my lackluster productivity would kill me. Thankfully to AIP, they kept me afloat and busy which I am entirely grateful for. If you're looking to internship providers, I would recommend AIP for it's smooth process and kindness!
Internship from home
July 09, 2021by: Julian Lakin - CanadaProgram: Remote Internships by Asia Internship Program (AIP)
The most stressful thing for me during this pandemic was that I thought I wouldn’t be able to graduate on time due to inability to find internships. One day, I stumbled across AIP and thought I’d try and apply, since they offer remote internships. I am a fourth-year finance student in Australia, so I really needed the internship for graduation. Within a month after my initial interview, I was already preparing myself to start an internship with a Thai finance company! The process went by so smoothly and I learned so much from my internship with them. Even though I was in a completely different country and completely different time-zone, my supervisor still treated me like a real employee and gave me hands-on work – all of which I could do from home! I also got to graduate on time! Thanks once again to AIP!!
Internship from the comfort of your home!
July 01, 2021by: Merlin Fern - United StatesProgram: Remote Internships by Asia Internship Program (AIP)
Remote internship…. Highly recommended! You get to learn so much and gain a lot of knowledge in your desired industry field in the comfort of your own home. Not only that, I got to do a remote internship in a company in South Korea so it was great to experience learning about the working industry in another country. My supervisor was also wonderful because I had weekly meetings and kept me up to date with everything!
It was a unique internship
June 16, 2021by: Norbert Akin - United StatesProgram: Remote Internships by Asia Internship Program (AIP)
I had my doubts about remote internship but this one was very good. I felt that I learned many skills that will benefit me in the future, especially with the way the world is right now. I didn't expect a remote internship would help me gain a lot of connections and opportunities. If anyone is having a hard time finding an on-site internship, I would recommend an online internship because it really does add to your resume and your long-time skills.
I had a great time
June 11, 2021by: Leonard Goble - United StatesProgram: Remote Internships by Asia Internship Program (AIP)
While I would have preferred an internship onsite, the remote internship exceeded my expectations and I had a great time. I learned a lot and I know that the skills I acquired during this time will greatly benefit me in the future. Times are changing and so I know that remote internships are going to become the norm. I am glad I got to experience what it was like. I highly recommend this internship program because it not only offers the professional opportunities, but it also guarantees personal growth.
It was an awesome experience
June 09, 2021by: Boyes Romeo - American SamoaProgram: Remote Internships by Asia Internship Program (AIP)
I had a great experience during my internship, despite it being online. All the things I learned during my internship will be useful in my future career for sure. Highly recommended. I would not trade this experience for anything else. I learned a lot from it.
It was a good experience
June 07, 2021by: Long Bonin - VietnamProgram: Remote Internships by Asia Internship Program (AIP)
The internship was online and I expected it to be quite difficult. But it was actually quite rewarding and I I learned a lot during my internship. I think I will be able to apply most of the skills I learned during this time in my career.
Remote, remote, remote!

What an amazing time I had these past few months and I definitely recommend AIP as a service for students like myself and to try doing a remote internship especially at a time like this. Don't doubt yourself!
