This program offers two diverse academic areas: Intensive Language and Spanish and European Studies. Our intensive language approach allows you to complete up to two years of university foreign language coursework in only one semester. You have ample opportunity to practice your newly learned skills both inside and outside the classroom when you take Spanish Studies. You can also enroll in excellent classes in Art History, Spanish Cinema, History of Photography, and Drawing. These are all taught at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos Vicálvaro Campus, which is inviting, modern, and student-friendly. Spend a semester or academic year in Madrid, Spain, with AIFS Abroad! Earn up to 21 credits per semester (depending on program and course selection) studying abroad at Universidad Nebrija. Courses are taught in English and Spanish. Internships and volunteer opportunities are available for you to make the most of your semester in Madrid. Universidad Nebrija offers an Internship and Spanish Language Program for students with a high intermediate to advanced level of Spanish, combining Spanish language study with a practical work placement. You may be considered for a placement in the science or hospitality field if you have an intermediate level of Spanish. Volunteer opportunities are available through a local NGO. Students can add to their experience by taking up to two courses at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid or up to three at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
