It was cool socially but slightly boring

I was kinda homesick sometimes but in general it was fun.

July 04, 2025by: Joao Gabriel Carreiro - BrazilProgram: INESLE Madrid & Santander - Spanish Immersion Summer ProgramThe residence is really nice, sometimes the food is a bit not great if you’re not used to it, the language part is good you get a lot better by hearing a lot Spanish the actual classes are really high level they’re mostly the basics to make sure you can have coherent conversation. Overall it was really fun visiting all of the places and hanging out with the others in the program

Though the academics were lacking, I still had lots of fun on the excursions and other activities. The level of the classes during the week was too low, and a few of my friends and I didn’t get the opportunity to do something advanced. However, in general, my Spanish has improved in leaps and bounds and I would still recommend this experience to other people!
