Studying at That's Mandarin Hangzhou has been an incredible decision. The teachers explain complex grammar with real-life examples that make everything click instantly. Their proprietary Nihao Cafe app is a lifesaver for reviewing lesson notes on the go. Beyond the classroom, the support staff helped me settle into life in China without any stress. My conversational confidence has shot up dramatically in just a few weeks. I couldn't ask for a better experience!

The Hangzhou center is modern, bright, and incredibly welcoming. From day one, the cozy environment made studying Mandarin feel enjoyable rather than daunting. The classrooms are equipped with modern tech, and there are comfortable common areas where you can relax, drink tea, and chat with fellow international students.

This course was very enjoyable and beneficial. Michelle Benson is an excellent tutor who immediately puts you at ease. She is full of knowledge and experience and she shared lots of tips and advice with us in her fun and friendly sessions. A shout out to the lovely ladies in the group too, who also made this a great weekend. I feel very fortunate to have spent some time with them.

I really enjoyed the classes with Jamie and Anna! I especially liked the group activities, which made the lessons fun and engaging. Overall, I had a really great time at the school and enjoyed the whole experience very much. I‘m happy I decided to come here!

Participating in ASA's volunteer program was an experience I will cherish for the rest of my life. The jungle at Finca Las Piedras is stunning, and I saw so much wildlife. The trail system is well-maintained and beautiful to explore. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and supportive. While the accommodations are basic, they are clean and safe. I loved waking up every morning to the sounds of the jungle. Supporting the protection of this important ecosystem while learning about the region’s unique wildlife was a life-changing experience. I would highly recommend this volunteer program to anyone considering it.

The teaching staff in Hangzhou are outstanding! They strike a perfect balance between challenging you and keeping lessons fun and engaging. My teacher patient, encouraging, and highly skilled at tailoring the pace to my learning style. In every class, I get ample speaking practice and immediate feedback on my tones and pronunciation. You can tell they are genuinely invested in every student's progress. My Mandarin has improved faster than ever.

I had a strong experience. I wish they had the 150 hours option when I first enrol for the course but they have not then. I would enrol in that if I can but the 120 hours course is very strong despite this. There is detail in the text and valuable informacion that we can use to make us stronger teachers. I now can teach with confidencia.

My experience was amazing. Definitely would describe it as one of my favorite and most memorable trips. I bealive the impact was truly felt and delivered. Along with an amazing trip and life long new friends.

I let AI help me out with this one, which I've found has worked out every time I've done that, though my sample size is only 3 right now! The teflmasters website looked legit when I clicked the gpt link, and the accreditor OTCC checked out, so off I went with payment. After paying, you click through to their LMS and get going with the course. I waited a few days before getting into the modules, which I found took anywhere from 2 to 4 hours to get through. 120 hours is feasible, though I doubt anyone reads everything twice and watches all videos and all the other things. The text is really detailed and has lots of teacher tips and stories related to the topic, and there are many different types of learner groups covered as well as online teaching. I doubt I'll ever teach online, but I guess it could be handy if ever something like covid hits again. On the topic of AI, one review I read mentioned AI video voice, but there wasn't a single AI video that I saw or heard. The staff mentioned to me on an email that the text had been grammar and spelling checked with grammarly AI, which explains why there aren't any errors in anything I read, but the audio thing had me a bit puzzled. They potentially did have and then changed it. I personally wouldn't have an issue with AI narration or images if they helped me, but it was a nice touch having human narration, even if I only listened to it for the trickier modules when I wanted a review without reading. Honestly, I think the only thing missing is images, and if they're reading this review I'd say the only thing missing is a few choice images (though maybe not gifs!) in your text, AI or not. Regardless, I think the amount that I got for my money here was brilliant, so this is by no means a deal breaker. This is a great course with staff who seem to really care about their training quality. I hope this review helps. Thanks

Studying and interning in London this past summer through CEA CAPA was truly such an unforgettable experience. Being able to immerse myself in a new culture while also experiencing what it was like to work in a different country was something I will always be grateful for. CEA CAPA gave me the support and encouragement to step outside of my comfort zone, try new things, and make the most of my time abroad. I loved being able to explore different parts of London through my classes and actually connect what I was learning to the city around me. My internship also gave me valuable real-world experience in an international environment. Most importantly, the people I met made the experience so special. I went into the program not knowing anyone and ended up making some of my closest friends with people from all over the country. Overall, CEA CAPA gave me the perfect balance of academics, work experience, travel, independence, and friendships. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I will never forget!

Studying abroad in Sevilla was one of the best experiences of my college years. I chose Sevilla because I wanted to improve my Spanish and truly immerse myself in the language and culture, and I got so much more out of the experience than I expected. One of my favorite things was walking through the streets around the Plaza de España and Parque de María Luisa, especially in the afternoon when I had a break from class. From eating lunch that my host dad cooked to exploring Sevilla with my roommate and practicing Spanish in everyday situations, I became much more comfortable and independent. Sevilla slowly started to feel like home, and leaving was honestly one of the hardest parts. I made memories and friendships that I will carry with me for the rest of my life, and I would absolutely recommend Sevilla to anyone considering studying abroad.

been using Joyn Academy for a few weeks now and im actually really enjoying it!! I tried learning japanese by myself before but always ended up stopping after awhile lol. The live classes make it alot easier to stay consistent and the teachers are really nice and patient even when I keep making the same mistakes 😭 definetly feel more confident speaking now than when I started

The teaching and room quality were good, and the food quality and variety were adequate. limited variety of fruit and vegetables; however, there was excessive rigidity regarding the opportunity to engage in extracurricular activities—whether in the afternoon or evening—by taking advantage of the proximity to Malaga city center.

My study abroad experience with CEA CAPA in Antibes France was truly one of the best decisions I have ever made! I made so many core memories I will never forget and stories that I cherish. I meat people from all over the world and expanded my global perspective. I learned what it means to live and “adult” in a different country. But most importantly I got to live a life full of adventure and freedom that I would have never experienced if it was not for CEA CAPA!

I have found this course useful for making this very daunting transition to teaching English overseas into something less daunting. I feel much more aware of my blind spots walking into a TEFL interview or first job position, and feel like the course provides a solid foundation for lesson planning and classroom management. I look forward to receiving the placement assistance that is offered now that I am at the end. As a working adult with my own business, I found the flexibility to be unmatched by any other product yet still providing the solid foundation I was looking for. Thank you TEFLPros!

My time in Rome with CEA was the most amazing summer of my life. I came into the program knowing no one; I had no family in Rome, and I didn't speak Italian. But as soon as I met my roommates, we clicked right away and became the best of friends! Living together was so much fun; we'd do grocery runs whenever we needed food, which was the easiest supply run I have ever done since the grocery stores around our apartment were maybe two minutes away in each direction. We'd go out to dinner, trying local Roman pasta like Rigatoni all'Amatriciana, which became a favorite amongst our group; we'd get gelato practically every night! We even traveled together while we were there, heading off to different countries on the weekends when we found the time! Our group meshed so incredibly well and I had the time of my life with them. The memories we made are some of my most precious; we watched Off Campus together, shouting at the screen when someone did something wrong; we walked to the Colosseum in the middle of the night just because we wanted to see the sights; we watched FIFA on the Tiber River banks with other tourists and locals. It was so great that now it feels like a dream. The travel around Italy was so incredibly easy! Flying out of Fiumicino Airport took no time whatsoever when you were traveling within the EU and was incredibly easy to get to from our apartment in Prati. I got really used to taking public transport while I was there, and though it was intimidating at first, it was so easy after I got used to it. Taking the A line to Termini and the train to the airport was honestly a fun experience. I had a great time exploring the transportation options in Rome. Lastly, the administration in Rome for CEA CAPA was absolutely incredible! They made us all feel so welcome and were very conscientious of our needs, always making themselves available if we needed them! The professors were wonderful as well! My Art and Archaeology professor and Photography professor were incredible women and very skilled in their chosen disciplines! They took us across Rome to study sites and help us hone our skills to become better acquainted with history and photography. It was incredible to actually go into the Roman Forum and the Colosseum to study their history! My time in Rome was honestly the best time! I grew so much in confidence as I learned to live comfortably in a new culture. Everything from the academics to the lifestyle of the city was incredible and I can't wait to go back!

I spent two months participating in a global internship in Bogotá organized by Intern Colombia and had a FANTASTIC experience! Intern Colombia did a tremendous job matching me to an internship that complemented my career goals and values. Not only did they help ensure that my internship experience was a positive one, but I also got to meet many different people and have a wide range of new experiences through the program activities offered that introduced me to the rich cultures in Colombia. This was surely an experience I will never forget!

I joined the program as a final-year business student from Zagreb, eager to gain international experience before graduating. GAC placed me with a consulting company in Shanghai, where I assisted with market research, competitor analysis, and client presentation preparation. My mentor was patient and always willing to explain how business relationships work in China, which was completely new to me. The team arranged my visa, comfortable accommodation, and even helped me navigate the metro system during my first week. I returned home with practical skills, a global mindset, and a much clearer idea of the career I want to pursue. I would recommend this to anyone serious about working internationally.

My experience with the TEFL Academy has been truly transformative. Towards the end of my course in 2024, I experienced a personal loss and had to step away from my studies. What touched me most was that the TEFL Academy did not give up on me. I was given flexibility and opportunities to return, and in 2026 I finally completed my qualification. The academic and student support was exceptional. Saturday webinars, patient tutors, assignment guidance and three opportunities to complete assignments made me feel that the focus was on helping students succeed. The course also changed my teaching practice. As an isiZulu FAL teacher, I previously relied heavily on translation, dictionaries and flashcards. The course opened my eyes to more communicative and engaging approaches to language teaching. The classroom training was practical, enjoyable and inspiring. I completed the course with renewed confidence, new possibilities and a flesh perspective on teaching.

I did medical volunteering program in Jaipur. The experience was great. The house had a great location, the family was very kind, food was great. In the hospital I had the oportunity to listen to the different cases as well as try some practical things. The only obstacle was language, but doctor tried to explain everything to me. On the weekend I also had the oportunity to go sightseeing, we visited Amber Fort and other famous places in Jaipur. All in all the stay was pleasant and I had a really great time.
