Intern in Seoul with Absolute Internship

My time in Seoul was extremely memorable, from the people I met, to the adventures I had, it was quite literally the most exciting time of my life. The program had a lot of weekend trips, and opportunities to interact with the other interns, and chances to explore, so I really appreciated being able to see South Korea the way I was able to. From initially not knowing anyone in the program, to being able to recognize everyone by name, my time in Korea was not wasted !

The time I spent living and working this summer in Korea changed my outlook on my studies and what I want to do after graduating. It gave me the context I needed for the work I enjoy and how I want to spend my time wherever I end up living! My program assistants were super helpful in navigating Seoul, and helped me and my friends with finding pharmacies and medical services when we needed them. Overall, I had a great time, and appreciate the support in my experience abroad!

My internship in Seoul was an incredible, life-changing experience that helped me rediscover my passions and build confidence. Absolute Internship made every step of the journey smooth, comfortable, and stress-free; their kind, supportive team was there for me from start to finish. Thanks to their guidance and care, I had the best time of my life and left Korea with lasting memories, new friendships, and a renewed sense of purpose. This opportunity opened new doors by exposing me to a different culture and work lifestyle. Experiencing Korea firsthand was eye-opening, inspiring and broadening my perspective.

Very great experience where I was not only able to learn a ton from an excellent placement, but I was able to seamlessly transition into a foreign country and explore with the new friends that I made for a lifetime. It was fantastic.

I was dreaming about going to South Korea for a while now, but it seemed very out of reach. I found about Absolute Internship at the abroad opportunities fair at my univeristy and i am extremely happy about it! They helped with EVERYTHING! They looked for the company and helped with CV preparation and interviews. They answered all the questions and replied in a timely manner. A huge plus was that they found a place to stay (modern apartament in central Seoul with just a perfect location!). Also the transportation cards were included, which was super helpful as well. There were trips and activities when you arrrive and there are people from Absolute the city making sure everything works fine for you, who you can easily reach out to for the support. The program gives you this feeling of independence, because you are there working on your own, at the same time there are other interns that you meet and do stuff together as well, which helps you create that feeling of belongingness. Why 4 not 5 stars? The internship is kinda pricey, if your university does not fully sponsor you. I know that it costs a lot to hire everyone to help with the process but still ;) Also keep in mind that options can be very scarce in the industry of your choice if you don’t know the local language. Nevertheless it is worth it to try and go intern abroad!

I was absolutely glad that I was able to travel to South Korea to do my internship! I loved my host company. I was able to learn about the marketing field in Korea and was able to visit many places while in the program. I loved that the program incorporated events and day trips so that we could get the chance to meet everyone in the program. This program allowed me to form new friendships and meet wonderful people. Everyone who worked for Absolute Internship in Korea was wonderful and friendly.

The smooth process of finding an internship, the amazing location, amazing staff to lead us in the new setting, and literally everything in Korea. Providing us with transportation cards and calculating the costs to travel to work was a huge plus. The small programs that are a part as a package to explore broader parts of Seoul were also very beneficial and amazing opportunities. Having the safety of being in this program and also having the freedom to explore on our own was so much fun and was able to create so many core memories.

It was the combination of travel and professional development that made this internship so fulfilling. I was able to bond with my cohort through our amazing trips and the experiences I had interning with my company has allowed me to gain new skills across multiple fronts. Although I was not able to

I completed the Seoul 2023 Programme with Absolute in June. Now that I'm finishing my period abroad studying, I absolutely cannot recommend Absolute Internship enough. The team at Absolute equip you with so much to get you started both at the work placement and in the country you travel to itself, and that is something I wish I had on study abroad. Back in Seoul, I managed to make some amazing friends in the programme and in the workplace, as well as try all the food I possibly could (which I cannot recommend more). I got to experience traditional work culture within a Korean company, and go on amazing trips outside of Seoul as well. The possibilities really are endless with Absolute and the support the team give you both before and during your time there is amazing. I cannot put into words how beneficial with programme was to me and I hope others are able to experience it for themselves.
