Course content was excellent but enrollment was a little confusing at first

I absolutely enjoyed my learning experience and give study TEFL 5/5 for everything once I was inside the learning system. Videos were clear, everything was nicely arranged and worded, and there were no mistakes at all that I could find with grammar, spelling or accuracy of content (I have taught before). However, they need to simplify their enrollment system as I was left a little perplexed about where to go, since I accidentally closed the popup that I assume was supposed to inform me of what to do. Eventually, I checked my email for a message, but this could've been avoided with a slightly better system with fail-safes in place. Hopefully they fix this because everything else was very intuitive and far exceeded my expectations.

Semester abroad 2025

I had a very enjoyable semester, the administration worked hard to make different events and excursions for the students to go on. I felt the classes were participation based and student centered rather than just reading notes out loud which was quite enjoyable

Amazing experience !

Studying at Schönberg Education has been a life-changing experience for me and one of the best choices I've made for my personal growth. It's been almost a month since I arrived, and I am completely satisfied with the experience. The schedules are full of activities you can choose from to have fun, meet people, and learn together. The staff is highly professional and super friendly. Coming to class is really fun, and I am grateful for this experience.

I had the biggest experience ever.

I am already and English teacher working with primary students in Turkiye. This course gave me an opportunity to supervise what teaching can be best in other countries. I'd love to work online as well. Thanks for everything. Best regards, Dilnur.

I still daydream about this trip

I went on the 22 day veterinary experience! My mom wanted me to see how life in a vet career would look like and so she sent me on this trip. I wasn’t scared at first, not really wanting to go at all and being far away from my family especially with the limited phone time. In the end, I wished for the trip to last just a bit longer, just one more week or maybe too. I had a great group, I made a ton of friends despite being worried I would have trouble, everyone that goes on this trip will have something in common with you which is they all see themselves in the vet career. I really learned a lot about myself on this trip, knowing how to be independent from your parents, how to deal with stressful situations, applying what I learnt in our daily vet lessons to practice…everyday I reread my journal from that trip so I can pretend that I’m still there. Each place we went to was different, some places we really learned how living in the hot jungle is like with little AC, the traditions of the country, the wildlife, the different activities. There wasn’t a day I think back on and wish I didn’t have, the good and the bad. I sweat a ton and learned to take cold showers. I loved our lessons! Not only did I feel I was actually already in vet school, learning content from horses to cows and exotics, but then later applying what I learnt. I got to stick my hand up a cows butt, zip line upside down, go galloping for the first time with Akila (working at the stables was the best part of this trip, the people are wonderful), watching spays and neuters, having Abuelita feed us at the clinic, watching the World Cup whenever we can at the restaurants…we even got to have breakfast for dinner one day at the Airbnb! There were moments when I was bored out of my mind, but boredom makes you creative. Instead of being on my phone I would read, watch the scenery, sing along, talk to my friends….and I didn’t miss home as much as I thought I would because this experience really makes you to busy for it and you have to much fun. I would tell anyone that wants to be a vet or just likes animals to do this trip, I would do it all over again. I would however suggest you learn some Spanish beforehand, you really get to connect on a different level with the people that way.

At the spay and neuter clinic, can you tell I was excited to pet the cat.

An experience that shaped who I am today!

Studying at APBS was an experience I could never forget. First of all, the educational program itself was rich, comprehensive and highly informative. I learned most of the things I know now during my bachelor's degree. From public speaking to technical skills. Secondly, the professors were patient and eager to share their knowledge with us. I have met many great people during my studies, and I am grateful for the wonderful support I got from the administration during hard times. Finally, I want to say thanks to APBS because I was able to participate in an ERASMUS+ experience for the first time in my life, which taught me many things as well and expanded my vision for my future career.

Best decision !

I only spent 30 days at the school, but even starting from zero, I learned some useful Chinese basics. There are also cultural activities to join, and wuxi is an amazing city with lots to explore. Had a great time and would definitely recommend it!

Mandarin Classes at LTL Taipei

Been taking group Chinese classes at LTL Taipei for two weeks so far, and currently loving it so far! The environment at the school is very warm and encouraging. Teacher Anqi Zhang has pushed us to speak Mandarin with each other, and helped us with vocabulary to use in daily life. Riona and Alin have been very welcoming and helpful with answering questions. Sunny has done a fantastic job organizing lunches and social events, and Greta has been very quick to respond to my emails. The school is very well run both administratively and in the classroom, and I can’t recommend it enough!

Surgical Intern Adventures in Athens

Hi, my name is Maya, I am from North Carolina and I am a surgical intern here with Cerca Abroad. I am a senior in college and I like Athens. It’s a great city. There’s a lot to do here. The hospital I work at is amazing. The doctors are really nice, they’re patient, they explain everything to you, as long as you tell them what you’re interested in, they’ve got you. I like Cerca Abroad because they were really good at coordinating everything. They would provide services through this entire process and help me out with everything that I needed. Honestly, I would come back. I don’t want to go home.

Changed.

From working with kids in a nursery, to seeing beautiful tours, and spending 2 weeks in the Amazon jungle!.. i've learned so much about my self, and the people of Peru. By far my favorite project was the Panthera sanctuary. Aldo and Cristobal are amazing people who made me embrace ALL... Of the jungle, but i've never felt more energetic and driven. the location is beautiful and rustic, with a scenic view of the river. We were able to help reforest, monitor and document animals, as well as do other activities like play volley ball, go fishing, and night animal monitoring. Oh and dont get me started on how delicous the food was, we got breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Amazing. Im reminicing as i type this. 100% recommend doing this project as well as looking into the other incredible projects Maximo has to offer. You wont regret it!!!

Great times in the Amazon

I came to IPBio hoping to make a positive impact on local biodiversity and the surrounding community, but my expectations were exceeded in every possible way. It truly was a 10/10 experience! The work is easy enough to pick up quickly, but varied and interesting enough that it doesn't become repetitive or boring. Most importantly, you genuinely feel like you are making a difference, which sets it apart from other volunteer programs. Getting the opportunity to see amazing wildlife up close, including sloths, monkeys and caimans, while on the job makes the experience even more special. The volunteer house is lovely as well, especially the pool, and Alter do Chão and Santarém have so much to offer, meaning there is always something to explore during free time and weekends. The beach was my favorite place to be! On top of all that, the other volunteers were incredibly nice, the staff were always helpful, welcoming and supportive and best of all there is a cat. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience and would wholeheartedly recommend this program to anyone looking for a meaningful, fun and rewarding time volunteering!

unforgettable experience

The cultural information shared by host families was amazing. We came to celebrate our 25th anniversary and the archaeology dig was great with a wonderful host family. We will be strongly recommending this program to all our family and friends. We cannot wait to come again. Muy bueno!

Best summer ever!!!!

During my Broadreach trip, 21 day advanced scuba voyage, this past summer I had a blast! I had the opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people, and learn about new cultures. By far, it was a core memory that I will think about forever, and I recommend it to everybody! I enjoyed learning how to sail and earning numerous scuba certifications, my instructors and peers were absolutely fantastic as well and I could not ask for a better time!

Studying at the Birthplace of Study

I can't recommend this program enough if you have the opportunity to apply for it. It has undoubtably changed my life. As an artist, it was incredible to be immersed in such a vibrant city with such beautiful grafitti/ street art as well as the ancient ruins all around you. To be able to study in the birthplace of knowledge, it makes you feel like you are contributing to something bigger than yourself. The program itself was also really amazing because it gave us the opportunity to connect with a group of people we could rely on when traveling together. It was also nice to have a schedule and trips planned out for you. It's an incredible opportunity to enhance your global outreach and gain new perspective. I miss it everyday!

Extremely unique and interesting programs

I did the Archaeology and Jungle Conservation programs around Cusco. They were all very well organized and Maximo made it very easy to learn how to get from place to place. I think similar programs would require much longer stays or affiliations with university programs. My feedback to future volunteers is to take whatever amount of bug spray and sunblock you think you need and triple it. If it is the rainy season, bring water proof clothes and boots.
