I really enjoyed this program's flexibility!

October 12, 2026Chasejamison Spears - United States

I am working multiple jobs to fund my upcoming travel and I appreciate how flexible this course is. I set my own goals and hours, and completed it within a month! I learned a lot about grammar and methodology while navigating plenty of options for my own unique teaching style.

Great Learning Program!😉

I warmly recommend studying teaching English with the TEFL organization for its most resourceful and comprehensive program as well as for its thoughtful advisors and tutors. Everything is made so that one gets absolutely well-prepared for any new professional adventure ahead in this field. Thanks to all, really! Best,

A semester I’ll never forget

October 12, 2026Eva Watson - United States

I think up until my semester at Korea University, South Korea felt like some far off fantasy. A place that I knew of but could never truly put my finger on. But, I can now say with full confidence that my time there was one of the best times of my life. I made the sweetest friends that I will keep for life, got to embrace Korean culture through excursions with WorldStrides and with friends that I made in Seoul, and got to grow as a person. I think the reassurance of having my WorldStrides program and onsite staff there to help me gave me the ability to have the fullest experience I could have had. I got to see some of the most beautiful sights, ask questions (even the silly ones), and always felt safe. If you are considering going abroad, especially to Seoul, you 100% should. The country and culture are wonderful and the onsite staff there will become an extension of your Korean family. :)

Hanbok experience with WorldStrides!!

Such a Transformative Semester

October 11, 2026Gabriella Chester - United States

Florence was the best host city I could have ever asked for. As a graphic design major, LDM offered a wide range of arts classes that supported my studies during the spring 2026 semester. I had class 3 days a week, so there was always plenty of time to explore Florence and travel throughout other European countries. Throughout my 4-month term, I learned so much, both inside and outside the classroom, shaping the person I am today. The API staff helped make this such a memorable experience, as communication was easy and everyone was so kind and accommodating. As for Florence, transportation was relatively easy to navigate, and the city proved safe both during the day and at night. I am truly blessed for my time abroad and hope to encourage anyone to take the leap of faith to do the same.

An Unforgettable Experience in Florence, Italy

October 11, 2026Isabelle Chester - United States

Studying abroad in Florence, Italy, was an unforgettable journey filled with new experiences, cultural discoveries, and personal growth. From exploring the beautiful streets to experiencing authentic Italian food and history, every moment was special. Although adjusting to a new environment had its challenges, the experience helped me become more independent and open-minded. I would highly recommend studying abroad in Florence to anyone and everyone! I think spending a full semester abroad is the best way to experience a new country because it gives you enough time to truly immerse yourself in the culture and adjust to a different way of life. A semester also provides the perfect balance of time to focus on your studies while still having opportunities to travel and experience new things. I was in Florence for the Spring 2026 term, which was such a wonderful time to experience the city. As the weather began to warm up, Florence became even more beautiful and lively. As an arts major, one of the most special parts of studying in Florence was being surrounded by so much incredible art and history. Getting to experience the art firsthand was truly inspiring and allowed me to connect with my passion for art in a completely different way. It made my time abroad especially meaningful. The API team made this experience even more amazing by helping make the transition to living and studying abroad feel comfortable and exciting. I appreciate the support and organization that went into making the experience so memorable. Having API as a resource allowed me to fully enjoy my time in Florence while feeling supported throughout the process. Overall, both Florence and API exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to study abroad and create unforgettable memories!

A Splendid Look at Vienna as the Center of Ideas and Culture around 1900

October 11, 2026Robert Schadler - United States

I took two excellent course (from a choice of 6) about Vienna ca 1900. Vienna at that time was perhaps the most important city in the world in terms of ideas and culture, from psychology, sociology, medicine, economics, law, philosophy, political science as well as music, art, sculpture and design. Truly remarkable. Both course were filled with relevant information provided by fluent, native-level English speakers who were well-informed and deeply interested in their subjects. Additionally, there were several very interesting site visits to relevant museums (of which Vienna has many?). The students were very diverse in terms of native country, age and interests. The web site for the university was a bit difficult to navigate at first, but was then very helpful in provide course curricula, readings, test preparation and supplements to the lectures. With Universitaet Wien now listed as one of the top 100 universities in the world, the cost for the two courses was quite minimal (although travel and lodging has to be added). I've already recommended this program to others and will continue to do so.

Seeing Surgery Through a Future Doctor’s Eyes

October 11, 2026Faidra Lekka - Greece

Hello, I am Faidra, I am a medical student, I am in the first year of my studies. I study in Malta but I am half Greek- half Latin American. I decided to come to this program to see how hospitals here in Greece work, how surgeries are performed, because I am interested in plastic surgery. I also saw a lot of surgeries. Plastic surgeries like laparoscopic ones with robotic machines. I saw spine surgeries, reconstructive ones, a lot of things, and also clinical experience. We saw how doctors go and see patients, how they talk to them and how they make them feel here. I am very grateful to have been here; it was a very good experience. Athens is also beautiful. Coming here, home again, was a great idea. All the team behind the program are very good people and they can answer all your questions. Thank you.

Dreaming and Learning in Athens

October 11, 2026Jeremy Jin - United States

Hello, my name is Jeremy, I am from Wisconsin, America, I went to the University of Wisconsin- Parkside and it is my hope that one day- hopefully- I will become a physician. I chose this program because, one, I wanted to get experience in the healthcare field in a different or foreign country and, second of all, Greece has always been one of my dream destinations to visit. So, the answer is simple, I came to Greece. Athens has been wonderful so far, actually when I first came here I was very surprised as it was different from what I thought it would be, but it was absolutely wonderful. I also had some chances to visit some of the islands, which are absolutely gorgeous. I loved my time sightseeing here, having fun. I absolutely enjoyed all the surgeries and clinics I was able to follow and watch. It has been so insightful. I sometimes go home and write some summaries for myself about the day, my feelings and experience and I think that I genuinely learned a lot. When I first got here Cerca Abroad was so helpful and very informative and I was very welcomed. I appreciate everything that I have been going through. Like I said, I absolutely loved it.

My First Premed Year

October 11, 2026Rehan Baig - United Kingdom

I am very happy to have started my first year of Pre-Med at NAU, especially because I am studying alongside my brother. We enrolled in the programme together, as we share the same ambition of becoming doctors, and having the opportunity to pursue this goal side by side makes the experience particularly meaningful to me. We can exchange ideas about our subjects, discuss what we are learning and encourage each other to stay motivated when our studies become demanding. I believe having someone who understands both the academic challenges and the aspirations behind this journey is a real advantage. So far, I have been satisfied with my experience at NAU, and I am looking forward to developing my scientific knowledge and preparing for the MD programme. We both understand that becoming doctors will require years of commitment, discipline and hard work, but I am proud that we have taken this first step together and excited to see what the future holds for us.

An experience that I will keep for life!

October 11, 2026Victor Slimak - Czech Republic

started at camp as a camper in 2012. Since then I went through the Junior, Senior, Leadership, and CIT programs before becoming a teamer and finally transitioning to being a coach in the High Ropes course. Camp Adventure has enabled me to expand my skillset, spend time outdoors, and lead activities that I loved participating in as a kid, all while gaining international friends that I will keep for life. If you want to gain practical experience in outdoor pedagogy while having fun doing it, Camp Adventure is the place for you! I don't plan on ever leaving.

Great Experience!

October 11, 2026Katie Jensen - United States

I absolutely loved this TEFL course! My host family was wonderful, and I had so much fun learning how mezcal is made. The students were so sweet, and working with them was definitely a highlight. I got a job teaching English online within two months of graduating, and now I’m traveling around South America while working remotely. It’s been an amazing experience!

Learning Dentistry Across Cultures

October 11, 2026Ashley Bolliger - Canada

Hello there, my name is Ashley, I am from Ontario, Canada. I recently graduated from my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at McMaster University. I decided to join this program with Cerca for dental shadowing to get more familiarized with the procedures and what is done in the dental profession here in Athens. I recently got a broad knowledge in Canada for dental shadowing but I wanted to get more familiarized and get more hands-on here in Europe. So, what I’ve been doing here in the last couple of weeks is shadowing Dr Costas and watched a diverse run of procedures, from tooth extractions to crumpled crown treatments as well as dental fittings, to name a few. Overall, it’s been a really great experience. From the team here with Cerca Abroad as well as the Athens area this is a very good opportunity to gain experience both in the medical field as well as get outside and learn about the cultural history that Athens has to offer. So, everything went smoothly transitioning our travels from Canada to here and I would really recommend this program to anyone who wishes to gain experience in a medical setting.

I truly value the clinical exposure I get with NAU

October 11, 2026Lenny Khan - United Kingdom

I find the early clinical exposure particularly interesting because it introduces students to aspects of medicine beyond the lecture room. NAU describes observational opportunities in emergency and inpatient care settings at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Anguilla, alongside educational activities related to anatomy and pathology. I think these experiences can help students understand the connection between basic science and patient care. As I progress through my first year, I am keen to learn more about how these elements fit into medical training.

Adventure, life-skills and unforgettable moments

October 11, 2026Bregen H - South Africa

So much fun and so many adventures, life-lessons and challenges packed into 6 months. Go with a good attitude, practice good work ethic, don't take things personally and prepare for challenges like less sleep. You'll have a great time, go on so many adventures, meet good people, maybe find romance and learn a lot of life skills inc. finding your inner kid as well as raising kids. Looking back I'm really thankful for my experience there and can only advise you to do it too.

Had the time of my life

October 11, 2026barry comerford - Ireland

What surprised me most was how straightforward the placement process through ICN was and how much opportunity it opened up to gain experience in the international camp industry. Going from securing a placement to becoming a camp director showed me just how much you can learn, develop and progress when you put yourself out there. I would tell a friend that working at a camp is an incredibly rewarding experience, giving you the chance to build leadership skills, meet people from all over the world and take on real responsibility. If you're willing to work hard, learn from others and step outside your comfort zone, it can open doors you might never have expected.

LTL 5 out of 5 !!!

October 11, 2026JAMES CUAN - Canada

I started my Korean 1-on-1 lessons on September 14, 2026 for two weeks, and I had a wonderful experience at LTL school, which was recommended by my daughter, Catherine. The school is very nice, well-organized, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Manuel Saldana and Sebastian for the warm welcome and everyone else was very friendly. I would definitely recommend Ms. Soyeon G. for 1-on-1 lessons. She is understanding, patient and determined to help me succeed in learning Korean. I learned so much from her in these two weeks – from properly pronouncing vowels and consonants, to reading words and forming sentences in a short period of time. Thank you so much, Ms. Soyeon, for your patience, encouragement, and guidance.

PA Goals and Island Adventures

October 11, 2026Greta Kos - United States

Hi, my name is Greta and I am from Minnesota, USA. I am currently applying to a PA school position in the U.S. and I decided to come here so that I can get some experience shadowing doctors and other medical professionals to kind of engage with what interests me the most. I’ve had a really great experience not only at the hospital but in Athens too. I really loved Athens and being able to travel to the islands has been also great. Overall, in my experience I found Greece supportive not only by the program but by the medical professionals here. I have learned so much and definitely I have a better understanding of the cultural differences as well as of myself and what I want to do in the future.

Amazing Opportunity in Mexico!

October 11, 2026Aryana Kovach - United States

I needed help completing my practicum hours for my Master’s in TESOL, so I reached out to the director, and she recommended me for their intensive one-week TEFL refresher course in Oaxaca, Mexico. She was incredibly helpful, signed all my paperwork, and made the whole process so easy! The experience turned out to be so much more than just completing my hours. I got to visit Mexico, experience the amazing food, music and parades, learn about the indigenous cultures, and work with some really sweet students. One of the most meaningful parts of the trip was getting to experience the way of life in Oaxaca. Seeing how people live, connect with their communities, and appreciate the little things gave me a different perspective on the world and taught me how much there is to learn from other cultures. It was such a cool opportunity to gain hands-on teaching experience while exploring a new place and stepping outside my comfort zone. I’m really grateful to the director and the team for helping me make it happen. If you need to complete practicum hours or want an opportunity to gain teaching experience abroad, I would definitely recommend reaching out to them!

Very good summer in Nagoya

October 10, 2026Tobias Hawes - United States

I am very glad that I came to Nagoya this summer. My Japanese skills improved immensely, I started a new martial art (though I'm still not very good at jiujitsu yet), I made many new friends, and I was able to see and do things I wouldn't have been able to otherwise. I liked how much free time we had; I and many of my classmates spent a weekend or two traveling outside of the program, and that was beside some very interesting field trips. Overall, I think this was a very good program.
