Very cool experience
It was really cool to see other cultures in Roma. From many soccer matches to traveling on the weekend and also getting to know how big cities operate with small streets. It was really cool finding a tennis place in Roma and playing with all of the locals and embarrassing myself into Roma

Amazing summer abroad!
I had a wonderful experience with Linguistic Horizons this summer (2026). I was matched with a company for an internship, where I did business administration and marketing for a surf school/shop. I worked there Monday through Friday four hours per day, and then also had classes Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights. I was matched with a class and professor based on my Spanish level. The program also included unbelievable excursions to other places in Galicia, my favorite being the Fragas do Eume
national park. Nicole, the program director, is extremely kind and organized! Unfortunately I fell very ill to food poisoning during the summer, and she was able to help me get care at the local urgent care hospital very easily. She was always doing whatever she could to make sure we were making the most out of our experience, whether that was taking us out for food or suggesting local hotspots to try. La Coruña is an amazing city filled with gracious people. I was able to gain valuable internship experience, improve my Spanish level tenfold, and gain an unbelievable life experience. I fully suggest this program to anyone wanting to have an abroad experience, whether you want an internship or classes or both. Not only was it an amazing experience, but also one that I am now able to talk about in interviews and on my resume as I currently job search. There is also always something to do in Coruña, with everything from free public concerts to food festivals. Go to La Coruña with Linguistic Horizons, you won't regret it!

A Journey of Growth
My three-month experience in Kosovo, where I had the opportunity to intern at the Office of the President, was truly unforgettable, both professionally and personally.
During my internship, I had the chance to work alongside incredible people in a stimulating and welcoming environment. I was particularly lucky to share this experience with another Isla intern. Together, we had the opportunity to contribute to projects and discussions on topics that are especially close to my heart, particularly gender equality. One of the highlights of my internship was taking part in a large-scale Women, Peace and Security Forum, which was an inspiring and enriching experience. These professional opportunities allowed me to deepen my knowledge, develop new skills and gain valuable insights into issues I am passionate about. I left the internship having learned so much, with a stronger understanding of my field and a very rewarding professional experience.
Beyond the professional aspect, this programme offered so much more. We regularly took part in cultural activities and excursions, which allowed us to discover Pristina, explore different parts of Kosovo and learn more about the country’s history, culture and traditions. These moments were just as meaningful as the internship itself and created memories I will cherish for a long time.
Finally, I cannot emphasise enough how wonderful the people behind this experience were. The programme organisers were incredibly kind, supportive and attentive throughout our stay. Their dedication, thoughtfulness and enthusiasm made us feel welcome from the very beginning and helped make this experience so special.
I am truly grateful for this opportunity and would wholeheartedly encourage anyone considering this programme to take part. It is an experience that goes far beyond an internship!

I had to see it
At first I was very nervous about being in a country and culture that was completely different from my own. But the Rome AIFS team were amazing and the freedom I was given allowed me to grow so much as a person. I had never been by myself in another country before and now all I want to do is get back out there. I had to be accountable for myself in my school work and personal life. But the AIFS team were always there if I had any questions or concerns. The first week was an adjustment period but after that Rome felt like home and was quickly able to get navigate the city alone without any maps. I also got to travel to other countries and meet so many amazing people. I think this program was more then worth it and encourage others to take the leap into it.

Professional Experience with the Freedom to Find Your Own Way
I never thought that studying abroad was going to be for me. As a student on scholarship and graduating a year early, studying abroad for a whole semester was out of the question. Yet, I also didn't want to sacrifice possible internship opportunities during the summer that would have helped me get a job. This program was perfect for me as I got all of the benefits of studying abroad without having to sacrifice anything. Additionally, the program was super flexible with their excursions, which was perfect for a busy student like me. I got to have the support of their team while also getting to feel like I was an adult professional in a foreign country. I couldn't have asked for a better group and a better time abroad and thank you AIFS Berlin for making it all happen.

Course content was excellent but enrollment was a little confusing at first
I absolutely enjoyed my learning experience and give study TEFL 5/5 for everything once I was inside the learning system. Videos were clear, everything was nicely arranged and worded, and there were no mistakes at all that I could find with grammar, spelling or accuracy of content (I have taught before). However, they need to simplify their enrollment system as I was left a little perplexed about where to go, since I accidentally closed the popup that I assume was supposed to inform me of what to do. Eventually, I checked my email for a message, but this could've been avoided with a slightly better system with fail-safes in place. Hopefully they fix this because everything else was very intuitive and far exceeded my expectations.

I had a very enjoyable semester, the administration worked hard to make different events and excursions for the students to go on.
I felt the classes were participation based and student centered rather than just reading notes out loud which was quite enjoyable

An experience that shaped who I am today!
Studying at APBS was an experience I could never forget. First of all, the educational program itself was rich, comprehensive and highly informative. I learned most of the things I know now during my bachelor's degree. From public speaking to technical skills. Secondly, the professors were patient and eager to share their knowledge with us. I have met many great people during my studies, and I am grateful for the wonderful support I got from the administration during hard times. Finally, I want to say thanks to APBS because I was able to participate in an ERASMUS+ experience for the first time in my life, which taught me many things as well and expanded my vision for my future career.

I still daydream about this trip
I went on the 22 day veterinary experience! My mom wanted me to see how life in a vet career would look like and so she sent me on this trip. I wasn’t scared at first, not really wanting to go at all and being far away from my family especially with the limited phone time. In the end, I wished for the trip to last just a bit longer, just one more week or maybe too. I had a great group, I made a ton of friends despite being worried I would have trouble, everyone that goes on this trip will have something in common with you which is they all see themselves in the vet career. I really learned a lot about myself on this trip, knowing how to be independent from your parents, how to deal with stressful situations, applying what I learnt in our daily vet lessons to practice…everyday I reread my journal from that trip so I can pretend that I’m still there. Each place we went to was different, some places we really learned how living in the hot jungle is like with little AC, the traditions of the country, the wildlife, the different activities. There wasn’t a day I think back on and wish I didn’t have, the good and the bad. I sweat a ton and learned to take cold showers. I loved our lessons! Not only did I feel I was actually already in vet school, learning content from horses to cows and exotics, but then later applying what I learnt. I got to stick my hand up a cows butt, zip line upside down, go galloping for the first time with Akila (working at the stables was the best part of this trip, the people are wonderful), watching spays and neuters, having Abuelita feed us at the clinic, watching the World Cup whenever we can at the restaurants…we even got to have breakfast for dinner one day at the Airbnb! There were moments when I was bored out of my mind, but boredom makes you creative. Instead of being on my phone I would read, watch the scenery, sing along, talk to my friends….and I didn’t miss home as much as I thought I would because this experience really makes you to busy for it and you have to much fun. I would tell anyone that wants to be a vet or just likes animals to do this trip, I would do it all over again. I would however suggest you learn some Spanish beforehand, you really get to connect on a different level with the people that way.

Amazing experience !
Studying at Schönberg Education has been a life-changing experience for me and one of the best choices I've made for my personal growth. It's been almost a month since I arrived, and I am completely satisfied with the experience. The schedules are full of activities you can choose from to have fun, meet people, and learn together. The staff is highly professional and super friendly. Coming to class is really fun, and I am grateful for this experience.

A great learning experience
I had a really good time with Go Elective. The hospital experience was interesting, and I learned so much. I also made some amazing friends in Kenya, and I'm already planning another trip to East Africa with my parents!

Best decision !
I only spent 30 days at the school, but even starting from zero, I learned some useful Chinese basics. There are also cultural activities to join, and wuxi is an amazing city with lots to explore. Had a great time and would definitely recommend it!

Thank you Go Abroad China for such a wonderful experience
Sending my 15-year-old daughter to China for a month was honestly one of the hardest decisions I've had to make as a parent. She’s adventurous, but I was a nervous wreck about the language barrier, the food, and just her being so far away.
From the moment she landed, the GAC team proved me wrong. They didn't just hand her off to a host family and disappear. The local coordinators checked in with her (and me!) regularly. Her host family in Beijing was an absolute blessing. The "mama" of the house treated her like her own granddaughter—she even learned how to make hand-pulled noodles from scratch.
The program itself struck a great balance. She had Mandarin classes in the morning, but the afternoons were spent actually doing things—calligraphy, exploring the hutongs, and visiting local high schools. It was incredible to see her actually using the language instead of just memorizing vocabulary.
She came home different. More independent, way more confident, and constantly talking about the friends she made from all over the world. If you are a parent sitting on the fence, scared to let your kid go, I completely understand. But this program was worth every single penny.

I had the biggest experience ever.
I am already and English teacher working with primary students in Turkiye. This course gave me an opportunity to supervise what teaching can be best in other countries. I'd love to work online as well. Thanks for everything. Best regards, Dilnur.
