Spanish lessons are strongly recommend for all participants.

Some experience in the field in which you are volunteering is also helpful, as is a responsible, enthusiastic, positive and compassionate attitude. Being willing to help in many areas, and being able to use one's initiative will make for a great experience for all involved.
