Wildlife Rescue Center in Costa Rica

Volunteers in this remarkable program will contribute by working in animal rescue centers focused on aiding endangered species and wildlife in general. Their tasks will involve hands-on activities such as feeding, enrichment, cleaning, and various duties essential for the operation of a wildlife rescue center.

These centers rescue injured, displaced, abandoned, and sick animals, providing them with necessary care and rehabilitation. Upon recovery, efforts are made to release them back into safe native habitats. Volunteers will have limited direct contact with animals slated for release to minimize disruption. Expect the work to be physically demanding and occasionally messy, but the rewards are immense as volunteers witness the tangible impact they make on the lives of these remarkable creatures. Wildlife centers, typically lacking adequate funding and resources, always welcome and greatly appreciate additional assistance.
