Scuba Internships in Thailand

Did the Divemaster Internship with Robert and Ulysse and then stayed on and worked for Merlin as a DM for 10 months after. Clearly, I must have liked it. Robert can be a tough boss, but he has a heart of gold, and he gave me a great experience of what it was like to work in the diving industry. You're not required to spend any time in the shop selling fun dives or courses, or filling tanks or other grunt work, you are just there to learn how to be a great DM and you will get tons of experience guiding customers through the internship. Big shoutout to Instructor Ulysse. They say that the only thing that matters when choosing where to do a course is the instructor, and man, I lucked out. He is the most capable and thorough instructor I have ever met and I would trust him with my life 100 times over. Miss you guys already!

Over two months, I gained valuable skills, working on tasks like Facebook ad management and helping with the company’s website. This hands-on experience taught me how to adapt to challenges and grow professionally. I appreciated the trust and responsibilities given to me. Despite some hurdles, I consider this internship a significant learning experience that has prepared me well for future opportunities. I’m grateful for the support and mentorship I received throughout my time there.

I had the privilege of completing a 2-month remote internship with a Tech Solutions company as a Digital Marketing Intern, and the experience was so chill and enriching. One of the highlights of this internship was the hands-on exposure to various facets of digital marketing. I actively participated in content creation, managing social media platforms, and contributing to SEO optimization efforts. The team's guidance and constructive feedback played a pivotal role in refining my skills and understanding of the industry. I am proud to note specific achievements during the internship, including a notable increase in website traffic and social media engagement. During covid, I was having a hard time applying to companies as I needed to do my internship. I found AIP on a Facebook page and although it was difficult to trust an agency at that time, I still tried and they offered me a remote internship. I built my trust when they offered me a company that does exactly what I wanted which is software development. Although the company is based in Asia, my manager was very flexible and considerate when it comes to working hours. The projects were aligned to my course and I am very grateful for this opportunity.

I am really interested in aviation maintenance studies specifically airframe and power plant training which will equip me skills to compete on the job market in my country I will be grateful once am given a chance

During the placement process, The Intern Group only had one mechanical engineering option to offer me at a company based in Colombia and had to switch to a fully remote position. The situation was unfortunate because of the time zone differences and the workload was very independent. This wasn’t the internship I hoped for but it definitely challenged me professionally. The people that arrived the same time as I did + the accommodation made the whole experience worthwhile. Our experience coordinator, Erika, was very welcoming and helpful with everything we needed. We would have weekly meet ups to socialize and do fun activities together. The accommodation is full of other friendly students/travelers and I felt very safe, it’s comparable to a single dorm room.

When the time came to find an internship as part of my university degree, I joked around with the idea that I would do my internship in a paradise like Thailand. After a little research I found that this was definitely possible, and arranging it would be much easier than I had anticipated it to be. Fast forward a few months, and I’m lounging on a beach on the other side of the globe with a ridiculously cheap cocktail in my hand. If you’re asking me, there's no better way to spend your days off work! To avoid any misunderstandings, I wasn’t just lounging around for 2 months. The manufacturing company I worked with always kept me busy, and believe me sometimes I NEEDED those days of rest. Don’t think twice, give Meiji a shot!

We were a big group 8 candidates all starting at the same time. I found friends for life! We learned together, we dove together and we spent our free time together. The program offered way over100 dives and at the end we were very proud to have all succeed and finished to be certified DIVEMASTERS!

Throughout my stay in Thailand I collected many experiences and dove into a new world. Not only was the new lifestyle and Thai culture completely different from my usual life, but also the way the company was structured and the business climate. It provided me with many new impressions. It was good how Meiji supported me with all the elements of my stay, like accommodation, important local information, and the actual internship placement. I had the opportunity to do a 3-month internship with an e-commerce company in the centre of Bangkok. I learned how to manage international business affairs, whilst also tackling more local challenges in the form of the Thai language.

Meiji made sure my transition into the working lifestyle in Thailand was as smooth as possible. During my time I was able to foster valuable relationships and create some unforgettable memories, all with the help of Meiji’s services. This is really a career-changing opportunity of a lifetime, so in my eyes Meiji Internships is worth every penny. I was more than happy with my program, and I will always stay grateful for the friends and memories I can take away from it. It was an all-around positive experience!

I can’t count the amount of times I’ve been to Thailand but I have enjoyed every single time. This time was a little different as I was visiting for work purposes, and it really showed me Thailand in a different light. My internship experience in Thailand was the stuff of dreams. After my consultation with Meiji I was matched with a company that ticked all the boxes in terms of my interests, so when I eventually started working in Thailand it was really enjoyable! The best part about interning in Thailand is everything else that comes with it, I’m talking beach parties, jungle hiking, beautiful sunsets, really kind locals, and so much more. For me Thailand was a great place to truly find myself. Having to maintain yourself living independently in Asia is quite a challenge, and just through that you learn a lot about yourself. When combined with an engaging internship such as the one I did, I can say that every minute I spent in Thailand brought some form of value to me. After my time there I found my real passion and formed a clear vision of how I’d like to live my life for the coming future - this in my eyes is a priceless form of education! I cant recommend this enough.

My internship in Thailand gave me some great work experience that will help me with my future career. The place I worked was a mixture of native Thai and international expats, which was great for me as a non-Thai speaker. The work was hard and we were involved with a lot of projects, but after work we always had fun and enjoyed the Thai experience. It is a very affordable place so you can expect to do a lot without spending so much money. It is definitely a place that anybody can enjoy. Meiji Internships set up my internship in Thailand with a local agricultural company, working to begin the process of exporting their goods overseas. As a native English speaker, the role was practically made for me, so I felt very valued in the work I did - the host company were very grateful to have me! I felt as though I had a real impact on the business and its progress. On my days off I was making the most of everything Thailand has to offer, in many ways it felt like a long holiday that I did not want to end.
