Education Internships in Guatemala

I had a great laboratory team who were always willing to explain (via Google Translate!) the different tests and experiments they conduct. This internship has greatly enhanced my understanding of the techniques used in clinical laboratories that contribute to the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of disease. I feel more empowered to be successful in my field as I was able to shadow important laboratory techniques in person, thus gaining a higher understanding of how they are carried out and their purpose(s).

Definitely the best and most trustworthy program I’ve been a part of during my gap year. Staff were all very nice, placement was wonderful, host family comfortable. Would 100% consider coming back and recommending this program to others.
