Interning at the Arcturos Environmental Center is a life-changing opportunity to work with wild animals in Greece and assist with the mission to protect and restore biodiversity. The focus is on conserving large carnivores, such as brown bears and wolves, and conserving and managing mountainous ecosystems in the country and the Balkans. International students can choose from 14 research projects/internships: Animal Husbandry, Wolf/Brown Bear/Lynx Behavior, Field Research (wetlands surveys, activity patterns, population dynamics, nesting, species diversity/density, etc.), and public awareness campaigns.
