I started out determined to get a business internship in the fashion industry in France (but not Paris) through my own efforts. Unfortunately, I started searching a little too late and I was overwhelmed with my work, school & family commitments to be successful. Luckily, my advisors recommended Linguistic Horizons to me. They were the only company willing to find an internship for me that fit my criteria (instead of a cookie cutter position). Plus, they were able to do it on a shorter than normal time-line (2hich saved me and let me graduate on time). It turned out that the company and city that they placed me in was better than I could've ever planned and was exactly what I needed. The company was small and my supervisor understood my goals so they actually ended up teaching me everything about their business. She also personally checked in to make sure we were doing alright and having a good time at our internships.
