The program covers two overarching areas in two different ways: - Tangible Cultural Heritage: history and interpretation; and discovering, cataloging, preserving, and archiving; - Intangible Cultural Heritage: history, anthropology, philosophy, history of religions, and law; and languages and literatures. Once you graduate, you will be equipped to work in the cultural sector in various contexts, including but not limited to assistant curating in connection with the organization of exhibitions and cultural events, excavation work in archaeological sites, the management or implementation of reception services at archaeological sites, museums, exhibits, and the cataloging of cultural heritage. The BA in Caribbean Studies introduces students to the interdisciplinary study of the region, with specific attention to the historical, environmental, and socio-cultural features of modern existence that have come to constitute the Caribbean experience.
