I wasn't sure about leaving Finland for a full degree in China, but GAC made the application process smooth. I would describe moving to study in Italy, Venice as one of the best decisions of my life. I have been able to meet people from all around the world and to develop myself academically in the best way possible. For someone who is looking for an experience where you will feel like you truly belong in a student community, I would defenitely reccomend Ca' Foscari University.

Studying for my Master in Finance at the Faculty of Economics and Administration, Masaryk University, has been one of the most enriching experiences of my life. From the moment I arrived in the Czech Republic, I was welcomed into a vibrant, safe, and diverse student community that has made my journey unforgettable. The university’s academic environment is exceptional. The high-quality lessons and well-structured curriculum have challenged me to expand my knowledge and skills in finance, preparing me for a successful future in my field. I divide my life into two parts, one is before I came here, the Czech Republic, and after. Firstly, I changed as a person significantly. Back at home, I thought our country is the center of the world, everyone knows about us and so on. Coming here, I realised that we are not that actually, there is a lot to do in tourism. Okay speaking of my social life, here you will make friends from all around the world, from every corner of this wonderful world. This means immersing yourself to different cultures, religions, perspectives, preferences, customs or values. Imagine how your horizon changes after all this, it is amazing to feel how your stereotypes are broken every single day about so many things. What else, coming here I developed a new hobby, travelling! Believe this is the best hobby ever to develop! Especially Czech Republic, located at Central Europe, has a relatively easy access to some wonderful jewels of Europe, such as Vienna, Warsaw, Berlin or Budapest. Academically speaking, Masaryk University has a high quality education with an affordable price. Degree programs are lot. Studying them is really an enjoyable experience, professors are always willing to help you, very professional. Information System works perfectly well, where you get access to important daily emails, information all about your studies, grades, performance, exams and everything. Well what else, it’s not only studying here in one place, there are a bunch of opportunities to go abroad for study and internships, such as Erasmus+ or outside Europe programs. About city of Brno, it’s a very cozy city with a lot of students, most of whom know speak English perfectly. People are warm and willing to help everywhere. Oh not to mention transportation system, never seen such a perfectly organised public transportation system in my life. You have an easy access to any corner of the city anytime with reasonable monthly price. On a personal level, studying abroad gives you the chance to challenge yourself, grow as an individual. You live here away from your loved ones, childhood friends, different culture, food, activities, I mean different environment. You don’t need to challenge yourself artificially, because every single day here comes with another adventure, problems to deal with, interesting dilemmas to choose one from. There is a lot to mention, but these are the ones I liked a lot here. I’m sure I will be missing all these moments as good old days.

I've finished my Bachelor's degree at Ca' Foscari. It was alright. I would say that it is quite mediocre university, there are definetely worse and better options to explore. I've enjoyed extra-curricular activities. It is not very academically challenging uni, it is quite chill.

I always thought about studying abroad, in order to be independent and have an amazing experience and it was like that! I enjoyed the lessons and professors were so willing to help! I later continued my master studies here. Cannot wait for the next graduation?

I had a fun rime here! I would totally do it again! Best thing i have ever done , it allows you to experience rome 360 degrees while also traveling. I would do it every year of my undergraduate and nothing else.

I loved it, I learned how to be independent, a new language, made new friends and basically just got to know myself at a deeper level. I found myself through the program and learned so much. My professors were great and I would 100% recommend.

I’ve met some cool people and I’ve had some lovely experiences. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. Would 100% do it again. My favorite class was definitely introduction to video production. So. Much. Fun.
