We work with different kindergarten schools, nurseries, and early childhood development centers where volunteers can participate. All are located in Buenos Aires, and they have their own stories with similar goals and dynamics. The placements are located in different disadvantaged areas of the city where access to some basic services is limited and not granted by the state. This allows you to discover the B side of Buenos Aires and to bond with the local people directly. You will be assigned to a project based on the need and availability of placements. The primary goal of these centers is to provide children's families with a place of education and comprehensive support, offering them social and psychological benefits. It ultimately represents a way to compensate for the schools' weaknesses and the government's lack of investment to improve them. The support provided by volunteers is unique and extensive—you usually start early to help with breakfast preparation and leave after lunch, when the kids take a nap. In between, participate in various activities with the children. Of course, feel free to share any thoughts or ideas that can make this project more enjoyable!
